This is what im talking about the bottom leaves are not quite right, the rest looks good

Heres the topped one, the guy i let top it, is the guy that got me into growing in the first place. Its starting to grow new shoots hope it turns out good

Heres a overall in the garden

Another one this one is good but the bottom leaves are starting to wilt a bit i think it is over watering Maj I am going to cut it back a bit.

A top of the first sprout. I was reading all the nutes info on your posts Maj i do think its over watering but i also saw it may be nute deprived I hadnt though of giving it peroxide but i will try it if things dont improve. I finally got some Cal-Mag so I will give them 1 tspn per gal in a couple of days after you check out my pics here. I really do not want to over fert them. here is what they have had so far
1 tblsp Fox Farm grow big in one gal jug ( only give it to them once everyother day)
1 tspn Diamond Nec per gal (once EOD)I mixed these two together
I mixed i a half tspn of this fert i got from the nursery is All Purpose 18-18-18 plant food. I have had success with this in the past, but that was with bag beans. I dont know if it will hurt the Shacks so let me know what you think i wont give it anymore till then (really dont want to burn em lol)
Today i decided to give them 1 tblsn Fox Farm Big Bloom im trying to even the nutes out before i go any further

I have only given nutes every other water the rest of the time it is straight water They are in little pots under a way bright light so i water them twice a day. (If the soil looks dry)

My temps are a litte high but not bad they are from 75-80 I can bring them down for flowering but its hard on the bills so im trying to be $ wise. If these are to high i will bring em down.
So far i have run the light 24/7 so there is no dark time but, I plan to change that today I will reset the timer to 18/6 before i go to bed. I really dont think the temps will drop below 70 maybe 68 but its not real cold in the house that wont be a prob.

The Seaweed Extract that i cannot get my hands on. That sucks but i am going to try a few more stores im trying to get it if not in town I will order it on-line if i have to soon ill have it!

Only one of the plants is not growing fast (the runt) the rest are buzzin right along. (just like me lol) My prob isnt that there not growing its they just dont look healthy to me. I want them to thrive.

Its growing along good doubled in a day! Notice how the bottom leaves are wilted is that cause I topped it or something else?

Hey Maj this is the container i have my first sprout in, the other plants are in slightly smaller containers. I dont know if you can see it on the pic here but i can already see the roots all over the inside of this container. Should I transplant them now or wait awile I will transplant them into there 3 gal bags when i transplant. No middle containers due to lack of room and supplies. I am going to keep the light around 14-16 inches above the plants at all time for the rest of there lives so i dont want them to shoot when I put them into the bags. What do you think i should do?
Without Bone Meal in the soil what do you think ill lose?

hey buddy ya should be ok w/out the bone meal, unsure about the wilting 1 suggestion the last pic all the alge unsure what effect it would have but it will compeate for nutes in the soil with the plants roots. i would next time wrap tape or something around to keep algee from building up

transplant when now be sure the soil isnt soaking wet or rootball is heavy to dry and it falls apart, i'll transplant when the moisture level is about 50% or it feels half empty

This one is still wilting i just dont get it? I think i will transplant it tomorrow or the next day give it some room to roam. better pics yes transplant all asap when i use my 3x3x3 inch containers to start seed or clones in they only stay there 10-14 days max same same for the 2 liter soda bottels i use. my cab is dialed in fairly well my cabs temps stay 3-5 degrees of house temps winter or summer spring and fall even with my old light temps where 5-7 deg of the house.


im trying to let the soil dry out cause i think ive been over watering = yes agreed but then again that kind of wilting could be from too small of container for the rootmass.

my grow envroment allows me to transplant every 10-14 days uptill 12/12 is induced. i transplant during the plants growth spurts and they dont miss a beat on growth, this could be why i experince such mad mad growth useing cfl's for veg. although admitintly 205 w worth dosent hurt lol.

if big N is coming up soon ask him to grab ya few bags of fox farm ocean forrest from down here and bring it with him then your set .

how many drainage holes are in the bottom of them containers ??? i just threw a new bonsai mother plant into a cut milk jug has approx 20-25 small holes in bottom from my sisscors.

on larger containers i put holes in the side also for proper root aireation, with plenty of drainage holes in bottom and holes in sides of larger containers. place the container 1/2 inch off ground now oxygen can properly be exchanged through soil. this helps to promote the soil to dry faster,


again when i water i pour PH'd water ferts if being used untill it just starts to drain out the bottom of container then i stop move to next plant. 10-15 min after all is watered they should be done draining i lift them to feel how heavy they are. this is my plants approx wet watered weight. every day i lift the containers each day i feel them get lighter, when they feel light and dry i water again as described above you'll get the hang of it. nice fat ass leaves on them right on little TLC and they'll grow nice n/p

Here is how i mixed up my soil in the bags:
1 tblspn Pennington Bone Meal 6-12-0
1 tblspn E.B.Stone Dolomite lime
2 tblspn Growmore Guano (organic) 10-10-1
My soil is organic All Mix mixed with 50/50 perilite

Here are my two good ones one the left The one one the far left i the topped one it sure i growing good

My sick plants. the one on the far right is the one that was way wilted It seems to be coming back a little I didnt put the runt into a bag yet instead i decided to put it into this one gal pot Im thinking if it comes to life good i will make it a bonzani i wont put it into a larger pot i dont want it to get very big. If it dosent take off good then ill pick a diffrent one to be my mom and ill transplant the runt into a bag for flowering Should I pick the very best one for my mom or will my plan work what do you think?

So here is a problem i have i need to know how much the Shacks will stretch once i swithch them over to 12/12. I have 40 inches overall in the cab i could stretch it to 46 at best. The bags are 11 inches tall so i have about 30 inches to work with 36 inches max> This is why i wanted to try topping i want short fat bushy plants i was thinking about letting them get about a foot before i switch 12/12 but im going to keep them from getting tall so ill prob let em grow another month or so before the switch I will just keep topping or ill Fim them (which is pulling them over and tying them down right) I dont want them to get any closer to the light than they have to 12 inches or more would be idealthat means i want them to be around two feet maybe a little more when done

right on next time go into 1gal then 3gal i like to work the rootmass up slowly 3x3x3 1st then 2liter soda bottle, 1gal then 2gal. if im gonna flower in larger then 2gal i transplant into that container 1wk before 12/12, roots grow out to side of container then down to fill in the container. hence startn small transplant up little each time to desired container.

no 80 is perfect for veg honestly hey whats them leaf smell like when ya rub them

Oh there starting to smell awesome even without rubbing the leaves I just stick my nose into the leaves and smell that sweet goodness. Next time i will go with more transplanting I want to try some cloning definitly with this batch. I am going to make me a bonzai mom. Do you start to flower the plants then revert the one that you want to be a mom back to veg? I am going to buy some Cfls from the local hydro shop for my mom as you can see i dont have a veg chamber or anything for cloning yet but in a week or two I will Do you have any info on cloning that would help me out? never done it before
I was checking out your Mind Erasers wow cant wait to see those get big! The big "N" is coming up here in a few weeks gonna bring me some of those Rons beans hell ya!

no no noooooooooooooooo lol flowern then revert back takes forever the shack should show preflowers 3-6 wks from sprout from 4th-5th set of leaves on upward. most of my shack showed preflowers around 6-7th set of leaves and 4-6wks. if you want a bonsai from cuttings just before you flip 12/12 take the lower shoots that wont recieve much lighting and clone them.

now you can hastely like i did and create your mum or mum's or flower them girls out mark what clone from what plant.
the strongest lookn/smelling/best high plant when finished a cutting from her would be the better choice.

i mean when your flowerin out the other plants your rooting them clones and veggn them by time thier ready for 12/12 the 1's inside should be finished or very very close .
take a cutting from the strongest plants 1st cutting and create your bonsai
