ahh i see well i have this idea let me know what u think
I wasnt going to trim the lowers off instead im just gonna let em grow, I know they wont get real big or dense but thats ok cause in not smoking them I am going to put them in with my trim at the end to make real bomb Canna-butter. Hopefully I will have enough trim and lowers to make two good batches ( 8 sticks of butter) Will letting the lowers really take that much away from the main colas?

yea that will work but thier going to be so frickn bushy you'll want to trim the bottom few branchs up some to allow for better air circulation through the canopy.what i mean by trim is after 3-4wks any tiny tensy growth less then half size of stuff under uppers gets whacked, you'll know when lookn @ them what should be cut . i only do the bottom few branchs

right on he hasnt left yet on his way over lol, him mom called me earlier wanting mine for he ex boss lmao. he really needs to return my call me back . so he'll be there all next week then right on be safe .

when its time to trim and you look at the plants you'll see what should be trimmed. well im off to the shower i threw my lower back out yesterday moven my rock polishing equipment around . now i'm bent ove walkn like a 90 yr old man lol and i have to water my veggn stuff

ahhh looking real nice bro, ummm ya dude your gonna wanna keep things trimed up...if you want to test this out just trim one and not the other, by the end of this grow you will see what the Maj is talking about....

i like to keep like the top 6 branches some times 8 anything lower then that is just a waste for me for real....all the time an energy my plants waste on the lower stuff could be directed directly into my upper buds, and lets face it buds are what we want right....

and ive seen the resin content of the shack and i'm sure you can get enough resin from the bud leaves to make some killer cannabutter......i'm going to make some cannabutter myself after this run ummm brownies...

Thanks Jaws im gonna do like the both of you said Maj says wait awile 3 weeks or so to see what ive got going so im gonna wait a bit BUT i can see what you are talking about cause each plant has a good 10-12 chutes ( I should have half of them in cloning stages by now but like i said im moving and I didnt want to get into that untill I move) so I will do a good chop chop in a week or two. I just hate to cut off such healthy looking chutes all the plants look as health as possible, at least to me.
If I chop say all but 6 chutes off each plant do you think I would yeild more than if I just let em grow normally?

Right on Maj glad its all sorted out. Big N is on his way to my house as I type this he will be here in a few hrs. We got 4 new feet of snow in the mtns were gonna have some fun. Next time you talk to his mom let her know I said hello I miss the big E and the big K too, him and I always butted heads and I loved every minute of it lol there both really cool!
Anyways the Shacks are growing up up up sooooo fast its crazy Stretchin away. The big on is up to 15" already (thats more than a inch a day wow) And all the others are doing the same its amazing to me. Everytime i look at em there taller. I am glad that only lasts a short while or they would end up 5 feet tall lol

if your not comfortable trying this then just do it on small scale so you can get a fill for what it wouls do/look like on a bigger scale...

i usualy get all my lower stuff cut before going to flower, this way there is no stress on the plant after going to flower.....

also when taking the lower stuff off in vegg you can (if ya want) use those cuts as clones, that way your not really wasting anything.....

he he no worries bro the size they where when ya 12/12 them 26-30 inch is where they should finish, the shack will 1.5-2 times it's size when flowering is started.

when N gets up there he can point out what could be cut type stuff


hey Jaws on his cloning he could to get a feel for it but he's moven down here around may , myself and N should have clones for him shack and grape krush and heck maybe even some memory loss. as it stands now the 3 confirmed girls i could take 8 cuts from each 1 then transplant them from 1 gal into 2 gal bags and flower. wouldnt even know all them cuts just came from them plants lol theres just so much undergrowth on the ML

My first sprout. Has almost doubled in size up to 15-16 inches already. Youe were right about trimmin them there just wont be enough room for them if i dont each chute is growing a inch a day easy

A new project!

A new project!

So a buddy of mine came up to the house for a few days and got me motivated ( the big N )

We trimmed 10-12 clones off the Shacks today
I went to the local hydro and got a air pump with a airator 20 bucks he he
Then I took a old nightstand choped a hole for a light in the top and now i have a cloning set-up Im using a tupperware container as a res. and i took a floaty tude from walmart to hold the clones

And a overall Im stoked now i got a cloning set-up All thanks to the big N who got me motivated A whole cloning set-up for 25 bucks! lol thats the best part Hope it works out good all I need know is a heating blanket to keep the water warmer Im not sure with the temp now but I know its not around 80 more like 70-75
What is the best cloning temps In water and in box????

I just read a thread on watts per sq foot and I discovered that I have 57 per sq foot. If I upgrade to a 600 wt ill have 85 per sq foot wow what a diffrence that would make I donated my 1000 watt ballast to a buddy so when I get this harvest over I might have to do a upgrade

I am not going to move for a few months later now so I am going to experiment in cloning and probably upgrade my bulb. If all works out ill have those clones ready for flower by the time my current Shacks are ready for chop. Im really stoked on my cloning tray any info on helping them along in any way would be greatly appriciated the water temp is around 68 right now and the ambient temp in the box is around 70-72 is this good/bad????????

I went to a local pet shop and picked up a warming pad for underneath my cloning tray hope it heats it up to the correct levels ill find out tomorrow

So my move has been pushed back to july due to the old lady but thats ok with my new clone set-up im hoping by the time I chop my current flowering Shacks I will have established clones ready to go right into the flower chamber. This way I will get two full grows of practice on the Shack before I move I bought two cfl's for veg today and ill buy two more before the time comes to veg.

First heres the PF bean gettin tall

Now heres some new supplies I got the other day for my new veg chamber that is being built

And finally an overall I had to lower two of the plants they were getting way to close to the light. The first sprout my biggest one is up to 20 inches already it crazy how fast they shoot up
I have my temps to around 72-75 with the lights on so im hoping top get some good purple out of these little ladies!
