Yes!- I am stuck on what to start first- Swazi Gold, Zac Tribute or the grapes? Also wanted to add that the Zac Trib's came from Mandala. Ordered on Oct 30th and they arrived today. Excellent performance.
I guess the world is your oyster, It's often difficult to make a choice especially with limited time and space.

I hear ya! With the Grape I just stuck them in the soil and put them on a heat pad. But I'm sure they just need a little rest and some cold storage....as for the Purple Michoacan x Purple Oaxacan, I have three that just popped up and am waiting on the fourth. I had stored them in the fridge, so maybe just a couple of weeks was enough to give them some dormant time, or maybe these are particularly vigorous. I know I had a freshly picked seed right off a plant last year that I stuck in the soil and it immediately popped. So I guess they can vary, but I realize that many do need a dormant period and some cold storage.
I am really keen on the Purple Mexi cross, Please keep us posted on those. Also how is the Mountain Gold coming along?

We are super close on Mountain Gold. She could come down anytime, but still pushing a few hairs and trichomes are still clear with almost no cloudy. I think another week or two at most. She lost the melon aromas and now has a minty citrus floral fragrance. Very sticky. :) Second little plant is basically identical.

Punta Cometa Oaxacan came from a repro on another forum and was a SnowHigh offering. This one was on 11/13 schedule from seed so no veg and almost no stretch. I got one male and one female from the purple line seeds that I was gifted. Male is sequestered and I'm starting to collect pollen. Yesterday I dusted my lovely Red Snake that I have going...I will use it on the PM x PO plants...

I have not grown the Grape yet, so can't really comment, but the ZT was an outstanding plant with very moderate stretch and modest flowering time. I enjoyed growing it and the smoke was tasty and good potency. Worth growing for sure, and the plants were very similar too.
All terrific looking There!
Thank you again for your posts! Curios did you run the Mountain Golds on the same 11/13 light schedule?

Thanks man! :)

Yup, same 11/13 lights all fall. I figured it would hurry everything up a little bit which is handy for those long flowering strains, and it does seem to do just that. Since I never really grow for yield, just to get a taste of things primarily for myself, it seems to work out well. And it saves an hour of electricity too. That electric rate is going to be awful this winter, so that's why I'm trying to hurry all my projects along this fall and will scale back after New Years. I have quite a hefty bill between the flower room, the veg tent and then running a couple of electric heaters all winter. Our rates are increasing something like 35% this winter! So I'm being asked to shut that down for the winter and bring the mini tents upstairs which is just fine, will be fun and a challenge. :)

I have two tiny 1 square foot mini tents set up with a ridiculous 24 watts total per tent (2 screw in 7w LEDs plus the little computer fan) and it seems to be plenty of light for the tiny space. So it's heavily trained bonsais for me this winter, hehe...last year I got 19 grams harvest from one small tent like this without even trying, so I hope to replicate it this winter.

Punta Cometa Oaxacan male which I'm collecting pollen from. He seems very well behaved in this small pot and will be a good match for the little lady downstairs. I'm intrigued with the idea of keeping plants smaller and it's interesting to me that some of these types that you expect to be stretchy can be apparently tamed by keeping in small pots, training, limiting veg and then given the short lighting hours. There are a lot of subtle factors involved that can be manipulated and timed.

OAXACA Circa 74’ PUNTA COMETA A Few bags of seeds from a smuggler friend who smuggled weed from Punta Cometa from the 70’s to early 80’s, this lot was from a bag from 74. These are from smugglers loads coming from the mountains, so they could be from Mixteca, Ixtlan in Sierra norte, Sierra sur, Valles centrales and some loads coming from Oaxaca side of Vera Cruz. These are delicate sativas that can from nice long colas or smaller clusters, flowers turn orange and pink and shades of other colors. Flowers have a woody aroma and smell of ripe fruit similar to papaya or mango. The Oaxaca 74 grows about 5 to 6 feet but could grow taller if given the root space to grow. No intersex traits or sensitivity to nutrients but as a rule treat all Mexicans from these southern states with kindness and don’t try to push with fertilizers or over water. Outdoors some phenos can finish in September or October.

Thanks Tex- I will start with some ZT and let the new grape fems rest for now. Also on 11/13 indoor schedule here and I much prefer it. I think the plants express color and terp profiles "better" with this schedule with no real loss of yield.

Another thing I have been playing around with is turning my lights down. It seems like my plants are just plain happier with less light intensity. I'm sure that there is a balancing point where it becomes too little, but it's nice to have a dimmer on my LEDs, and I have turned some of them off as well, so the flower room is not as bright as I have had it in the past. Saves electricity too, so it's a win all around. :)

Just to report almost 48 hours later the Grape Fems have one each of #3 and #8 on paper towels so two out of six so far.

I would though caution on lesser light Schedule on the Grapes they are bred mostly for very early outdoors and I suspect the Nepali in their genes, Like their Purple Satellite mom, which is very prone even a sharp drop to 12/12 immediate shift from veg by sporting nanners at the tips of the buds. Hence all the recommendations to grow Satellite outdoors in Northern Lats or
Graduate lighting time much more slowly. Starting 14/10 for a few weeks down to 13/11 then down to 12/12.

Going right down to 11/13 indoor and Grape may become subject to herm on such short hours, she/Grape will teeter on nanners on tips at 12/12.

The Zacatecas Tribute should be just fine at 11/13 Having no Nepali in her.

That all being said you can easily grow beautiful
Green Mountain Grape indoors, on 12/12.

Hello Tex!
Went through another tropical storm last night but doing fine here.
I just wanted to say thank you again for contributing, I think it is very important do trials such as you have and share the information so that everyone can have successful growing experiences. And hey, who doesn't want to save on electricity!
Cheers my friend!;)

Purple Michoacan x Purple Oaxacan Gold's...I'm super stoked about these and have two different types of Oaxacan pollen I could use if I have females. :)

Also in the pic is a Hashplant S1 that I want to use for a micro tent grow this winter.

That would be the Ace seeds Hashplant S1? I grew it when it first came out. Not a big yielder but the stone was very gentle and relaxing. Great daytime indica in my opinion

Vtman i ordered some GMG. Would this strain work well under the standard 12/12 light schedule during flowering or would i need to follow the schedule i was using on the Sattelites? Just wanted to get a heads up about that. I normally only like to grow pure sativas but the pics everyone posts of this strain are off the chain. It definitely seems to be your most popular by far

Hey Rob!
You should be fine to put Grape right into 12/12 baring your grow doesn't have major heat issues, no major light leeks just the regular descent cultural regimes to flower most cannabis will be fine.
Hope that helps.
