We did on occasion. Shank bones are sturdy and not prone to splintering. Bonnie likes her Nylabones these days.

I can assure you that I am unlikely to see the kickoff, but don't bet against it happening, @Bababooey .

I am glad that TB no longer has TB as QB but a BM on the field has its own set of problems. I like Baker making dreams.

When I read the last four words I thought "Harry Truman" Little White House. Here's what I found.

The swords were stolen from the Truman Museum in Missouri. The Masamune sword was not stolen and is still in the museum but not on display.
yes, tb no longer has tb but is looking to score another sb win with bm
i never lost hope and was surprised when cle let his go for d.watson, especially considering his off field troubles
but everything works out in the end and tb is playoff bound
that is an awesome piece of american history re the truman sword and a lot of vets returning from ww2 brought home momentos

@shithawk420
so the yourger boy was into this kind of thing and a friend gave him this relic

its an authentic jap sword from ww2
like baba said a wood handle and the blade shows signs of wear
maybe you could check around at army surplus stores or pawn shops and see if they have anything you like

I think ive actually heard of Masamune, the sword maker, or at least some fairy tale stuff about him. Guy lived 800 yrs ago, some of his legend sounds like grimm's fairy tale stuff.
I wouldnt be surprised if some of the japanese generals or admirals gave up their swords to the US when they surrendered during WWII, that's why there's a masamune in a US presidential museum now.
I wonder if any of the masamune swords still have their original tsuka made of wood? Wood can last hundreds of years so long as it doesnt dry out or get wet too much.

Like Hawk said it might be hard to get a good sear on a bone in streak with a flat top or cast iron, some sort of grill would be better.
I havent had a steak in a while all this talk has me wanting to make one, but i have been eating a fair amount of beef roasts lately so im kinda good on the red meat.

The O/U for the rams/vikings on MNF is 47.5, so u were close, Pops. U feel like it'll easily be 48+? The O/U hasnt moved since the lines opened but the vikings are now -1 favorites, down from -2.5 at open.

Leave it to Buzz to find a real life theft of swords from a presidential library. And yeah, the Masamune sword came from Japan's defeat in WWII. Missouri isnt too far from u, Hawk, so u could see that sword if u wanted to. Well, it's not that close either...
i like 48+ and was about to joke about how i need to start adding in that .5pts
so it looks like everything is on fire right now here in socal
we are having santa ana winds gusting up and blowing everything around
add in the dry conditions and things are ripe for a fire
here by the coast nothing is burning but its like 70* outside and the winds are blowing hard
if not for the fires the weather is awesome and i might break out one of my kites and enjoy the big winds
went to the store to get fixings for pasta but they also had my big sandwiches on sale for $9! heck yeah
pasta can wait till tomorrow im eating sandwiches today
you are so right about how a bone in steak is best cooked on a grill
cast iron or broiler makes good steaks if you do them right but thats best for just the cut of meat, not bone in
i like grilling steaks
