This morning I stuck two more Purple Mexican IBL seeds in the same cups. And I also planted three Cryptic Labs Oaxacan seeds. I set up a mini tent with a dough raising heating pad and put them all in there. We'll see what a week of 24/7 heat and light can get going.

I decided to wait another couple of weeks before I start my outdoor stuff, which is going to be Purple Satellite mostly. I also have about 40 heirloom pepper plants already started, and will be starting several tomatoes pretty soon. So, I'm trying to juggle my regular garden activities and reefer in the same veg setups. :)

Thanks man! They do look yummy. :)

I don't what happened with the soil mix, whether it's because these are more N sensitive, or whether the fill for these pots may have been from the bottom of my bin and was a hot spot. Because I'm using the same recycled soil for a couple of years now. Anyhow, it's a mild claw and I'll just live with it. But, I'm going to cut the next mix 50-50 with some fresh low input soil plus some dolomite and see how the next group does.

All the GMS babies are rocking along nicely. LST on all of them to try and get more clone-able branches to help some friends out this season. In doing so I snapped the top off of a PBB. Oops. She was super stiff and didn’t want to have ties adjusted.

I have 2 distinct phenos of the Zacatecas tribute. One with normal green stem and one with a very lavender colored stem over the entire plant. It’s beautiful but very hard to catch with the camera.

Also 2 distinct purple Satellite plants. One that I can fully see a family resemblance with across all my other GMS plants, and one that is much broader leafed and went through a small stunt trying to push its first set of true leaves.

Hoping they start to show sex soon so I can sort things down a little.

I just really enjoy observing and experiencing how the environment effects genetic expression. This is a clone of my PBB . The temps are rising a little now and this is how she decided to respond...just buetiful! And the aroma is mouth watering! Carmalized sugar is what it makes me think of.

Heres the girls so far. Back left is mountain gold, far right tray is purple satellite and front tray is zacatecas tribute, 4 of each. The pots are only 2.9 quarts, not as big as I intended to go with for veg, but I think its enough space to sex them and transplant the females to a 5 gallon grow pot. Apologize for the mess. Im kind of a slob on my free time

I forgot to mention earlier In I think it is great that you are doing veg also.
I will actually be doing a lot of veg starts along with my cannabis seed trays also in just a few more weeks.
If I may, how big is your garden?
Cheers!

Ah you are most welcome Rob!
Is the organic super soil something you get prepackaged?
Also curious about the lights you use, I love to learn more of what is making growers successful with my material and if it helps other gardeners I feel its a win win for everybody.
And Thank You!

I have a small woodland clearing that I developed a couple of years ago. It doesn't get very many hours of direct sun but I still manage to get some good results. I have a second area where I have about 20 big grow bags and that's where I grow a lot of my sweet peppers and tomatoes, and they get mostly just afternoon sun. I expect to have more deer pressure this year, but so far they leave my reefer alone.

I dont know what rob is using I just ran across a break down on super soils

https://buildasoil.com/blogs/news/1...ut-super-soil-the-super-soil-recipe-breakdown

Super soil reminds me a lot of the organics for beginners by burn1

https://www.icmag.com/forum/marijuana-growing/organic-soil/48694-organics-for-beginners

Hello Herb!
Great contribution there are a lot of great recipes in there, admittedly I start heavy on the organics but I supplement with just the tiny amount of of chemicle like a vitamin regiment.
