Salutations, vermontman. I'm enjoying growing PS! Can you, and anyone else who has grown PS F2, describe the phenological variability, or any other phenotypic insights? Have you experimented with stabilizing the cross into a variety? (Or is there any trait you'd like to fix?). I've got seeds I collected from the Gabon/RDC border. I never saw the plants (flower looked like brick weed of yester year), but I assume they are completely inappropriate for growing outside in Boulder. But the psychotropic effect was unlike any I have ever experienced: a sharp attenuation of the senses, not at all "trip weed”. If administered blind, I'm not sure I would even identify it as Cannabis. I'd say "unknown stimulant of nobel strength and character." I like the idea of crossing it with an early flowering sativa if it's effect could be preserved. PS unless inbred for 4+ generations, I'd guess would throw too much genetic diversity into the mix for an inexperienced breeder to make any progress with. What do you think? Any of the PS parentals commercially available, or is there another IBL variety that might be appropriate for me to experiment with? There's no way I'm going to put the work in to breed it pure into something that works in Colorado if it behaves as I imagine. I would guess that would take 15+ years, the ability to grow out thousands, and suerte. I haven't tried any of the commercially available central African strains. Anything match my description? I've got Bangai Haze growing now, but my guess is it gets one more high-- than for lack of a better word--hightened.

Hey buddy sorry been crazy here ready to move I have seen people post on I think it is the the Purple satellite thread that some f2s have been produced by some growers and they are very stable from what I have heard, But I have not done so myself.
I would think anything you cross to Satellite will shorten the flowering period, would be my best guess.

Ladies are good, but males can be handy as well. :D
Here are some babies...Cryptic Labs Oaxacan, Kropduster Michoacan heirloom, Erdpurt x PS, and two Purple Satellites. I had one PS damp off on me, as well as a New Caledonia. Might try again on those, but I have a couple other seeds also waiting on ...

Hey there!
Yo look like your off to a great start.
The Zip Oax looks like what I have seen of the Cryptic Labs Oax, a bit different to mine. But all looks wonderful.
The Purple Mich. looks to be starting out with thinner leaves.

Well Ive weeded out the males after only a week of flowering. They sure do show themselves faster than the females. Ended up with 4 mountain gold, 2 purple satellites and, unfortunately, only 1 Zacataca. Ill update with pics once they get settled into their 5 gallon pots.

That sounds terrific Rob!
That should make a pretty nice garden for you., I notice the males are almost always bigger seedlings than the females. looking forward to pics.

Ciao Dubi, ciao uomo del Vermont e sono veramente indeciso se prendere il satellite viola o la Grape mountain, che dilemma mi sa che alla fine le prendo tutte e due.

My Zacatecas are still going strong. They have a nice aroma right now which I think will keep on building. Sweet, musky and a little fruity/spicy. One of them has some purple edges starting on the leaves and some mixed colors in the flowers. Really beautiful weed and a lot of fun to grow.

I just up potted my two Purple Satellite seedlings to get them out of the Solo cups and give them a chance to develop some roots. I also have one Erdpurt x PS too, so hope to see a female or two from these outdoors this year.

Getting mighty nice... Zacatecas.
Hi Tex!
Spectacular!
Man those are really coming along wonderfully, Looking farward to seeing your further progress. I just started my Zacatecas seed yesterday.
The 15 Purple Michoacan seedlings popped at 100% germination.
Hoping for something special in that line.
