Ive never really grown plants this tall before, so hopefully they don't end up with too much popcorn. I have done a bit of cleaning around the bottoms to help the cause.

Thats why I was saying to use a cpl lights vertically, If you put 1 400 vertical right at the center to top of the canopy then take the plants and put them around the light, the light will penetrate into the side and bulk up side branching. So all you have to do is spin the plants around the light so all sides get light. It might seem like more work but thats the difference between buds and popcorn. This plant here is 3 inches from the top of my box which is 39 inches high so thats over 3 feet not sure how many cm that is but its probably as tall as yours now. just my opinion. keep it green bro.

HB, that plants wicked man! Chunky nugs right the way through.

At the moment I wouldnt have the room for vertical, as I need to fit 4 lights, each with 4 or 5 plants under them in my tent (2meter by 2 meter, or 6.6 feet) If I start hanging lights vertically, cause I need to make a little space around the bulb it takes up alot of my space horizontally. If I had the wattage I'd try running extra 250's in the middle of each group of four, but Im already hitting (2X400, 1X600,flowering 1X250 2X125 Vegging) 1900watts, and Im adding another 400 in there in a weeks time for the 4 OG's that go in next weekend.

You know what? Fuck it, Im gonna run a vertical 400 over my next lot. I'll start off using a shade and a horizontal light to get them to stretch up, then when all the stretching is done I will part the plants a little further apart, and hang the 400 in the middle.

I've spent a small fortune on those two fancy aircooled, adjusta wings in there, so I can leave them in the future to provide light for the girls for their first month in there, then they can get moved into vertical lighting setups to finish them off and fatten up all the lower stuff aswell.

Right now I've got a whole lotta rock wool soaking, and Im gonna be cloning tonight.
I hate cloning!

Till next time...

LOL you just pretty much explained my whole system that is exactly what I do. My first cab is for clones and juveniles and the lights are all horizontal then the flower cab is vertical, reason being I can fit more under the horizontal like you said to stretch then fill it all in in the flower cab. . There is still trimming you have to do on the lower branches from the main stem outward, you just spin the plants around the light I can get about 6 to 8 around my light all about a week apart so I get one every week. an ounce and a half a week isn't to bad for personal. keep it green brotha

Yeah all good bro.

Buds are doing their thing, starting to meet up, should be fattening soon.

I'll try and get some pics tonight. Girls are drinking soooo much. To get run off each night I need to give each plant like 1.5 liters of water! Stalks are fat as hell and look like they're little trees.

Dissapointed with trich's so far. Very few. However they are only 4 and a half weeks into a 10 week cycle.

Yeah I always see the trichs filling in more around the last couple weeks before the flush. It is always different for other strains though.

Gidday everyone!

Well I didn't get pics last night sorry.

Truth be told it's getting painful getting the girls out for pics. However I need to flush them on Sunday, so I shall pull them all out and take photo's then. The bigger girls are like 5 foot (with the bag) and I always end up bashing branches, and snapping them.

They are however starting to look really good. Some of the Lavender are looking excellent, then again some are looking more like a haze, and look like they will need considerably longer than the 10 weeks I've allowed. You know the look? The leaves are ultra think and the little hairs are really fine and thin. This is the case on L5 and to some degree L1, L2 is kinda half way, and L3, and 4 are most definitely looking good and leaning towards their indica origins. They have fattish leaves, and big thick white hairs.

BD7 looks like arse, I mean I gotta be honest. Her leaves have always been lighter than anything else in the room, she looks like she's about two weeks behind her BD5 counterpart. BD 5 looks pretty good, but because she share a light with L5 and half of L1 the light is a good 40 CM's above her and she is crowded with this great big sativa monster crowding her space and light, but she's doing pretty well all things considered.

So harvest date is planned for (approximately) the 29th of april for the BD's (then they will have had 8 weeks) however I can give them longer if needs be at the time. Then I plan to pull the first of the Lavenders two weeks later on the 13th of May onwards depending on when they look ready (I think L5 may go as long as 12-14 weeks!)

I need to go out out and sort out another 400 at some stage as the OG's need to go in soonish. They are getting big now and look pretty healthy! Lovely big fat indica leaves!

I hear you about the BD, I culled my Green love potion it was a freebie but it just never looked very healthy, everything else was fed the same an they are doing just fine. I also chopped 1 of the alphadawgs as it was a male. I have another male from them but I am going to be using it for breeding purposes. so out of 11 seeds total I ended up with 3 females from the 5 alphadawgs, 2 females from the 3 NL x AK-47, 1 female NL x afghani, and 1 female Black russian(black domina x (white russian, withe widow x ak-47) I need to update my thread also.

Day 33 12/12 (BD, L) Day 12 (WW, PK)

Day 33 12/12 (BD, L) Day 12 (WW, PK)

Good evening.

Well I got some pics.
Not very good pics, but pics.

Oh and I've had a break through. I ordered approximately 2 years ago, 2 of those philips CMH's that everyone raves on about. Now I could never use them as they wouldnt fit properly in any of my holders, however I found out today they fit nicely in my spare adjusta wings bulb holders (dont need these as I use cool tubes).

So my next lot will be introduced hopefully tomorrow, in a vertical setup (this ones for you HB) with a CMH 400 Bulb. The other CMH will go into the veg room.

Other than that, theres not alot to say. I've taken a few photo's showing the difference between the slower Lav (5) and the faster lav's (3 and 4)

Alright, first off I have some group shots of the room, First with the HPS lights running, and all the plants set up (say good bye to the corner with the dehumidifier and the fan, thats where the next four are going tomorrow!)

WholeRoomHPS-1.jpg

Then I emptied the front half of the room, and put the CMH's in there for some better pics.

BD 7 this girl looks like utter shit, I should throw her away, but I've taken her this far, I'll finish her and pull the few grams she'll produce.

Then theres some more group shots....

Also, quickly, just wanted to devote this to the cock suckers who felt the need to remove my door from it's hinges (a while back now)

Bastards! It was a quiet sunny afternoon, all was peaceful in my neighbourhood, children played, lawn mowers wirred away in the back ground, and down the road thundered those bastards! Multiple pig cars, vans, dog units, detectives, the lot. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared. I wasnt home so they "forced entry". Two years later, and the wound is still raw, bastards! I came home during it, and faced the music, bastards.

So this mother fuckers, is for you

End of Week 6

Whats up everyone?

Well I had to clean out yesterday due to a visit from the olds. Theres nothing more of a PITA than having to move everything in that garage into my wardrobe, but hey it's done now and sorted, so as I pulled everything out and set up again I cleaned it all, I washed the tent down with sugar soap, I washed all the poles with sugar soap, then I disinfected the whole thing (overkill but fuck it). Then as I bought the plants out i flushed each one with 20 liters of PH'd water, at which stage the EC coming out of the coco was 0.2/0.3ish.
Then I fed them. Then I put them back.

Fuck it took AGES! I started dismantalling at 6 am yesterday, parents turned up at 11, left at 3, I start reassembling around 4, stopped for a couple of hours to walk the dogs, then worked through until midnight last night. Shit Im tired now. And I've still got to do the WW, PK, and OG's.

So as I did it I took photo's of the plants.

So first off, this girl is a keeper, no two ways about that, the nicest lady of all the seeds I got in, is BD5. She unfortunately never got a fair deal as she shared her light with big, overpowering Lavenders, so the light was always well above her and she was always shaded. But she looks GREAT!

Then theres the Lavenders,

L3 and 4 are by far the ncest so far! Big buds, not many trichomes, but big buds compared to the other L's, and nice and tightly formed!

Then theres the L1, 2, and 5. Im tossing up weather to ump these LAvenders. I started a thread over in the Soma forum. I dont have an issue with it if they're going to take forever. But I don't want to give them forever and then nothing ever eventuates. They all just seem so fluffy and fox tailish.
