I've looked at your pics, Yukon, lovely dame she was but I'm afraid mine's a different pheno without those thick calyxes of your's...
11 weeks today and no sign of ambers yet no grumble I can wait :)

:tiphat:orfeas

Lol yea you even have the long Thai alligator tail leaves I bet your looking at 15 weeks give or take 3 or 4 days... I don't know if I've ever even gone past 13.5 weeks now that I think of it! Even the wispy one I had that was more Thai influenced still got cut around 13 weeks.. tho in retrospect I should have let it go longer...

Wheee 13 weeks today, an amber here and an amber there but white pistils still pushing out...think I should let her go another week, shouldn't I?
The nose has changed noticeably from sweet mango to a meaty liverish whiff...never smelt liver before...

Fuck yea. That looks like her last big push... she could probably sputter for another two weeks with some buds getting cut in 8 or ten days...
Really nice looking plant orf.

If your keeping the cut (I’m a stoner I don’t remember if you said...) you might want to cut a few buds early to give it a try just in case you prefer a little more clarity and edge than depth and meditations...

Thanks heaps you kind folks!
The shoutout should go to the plant itself rather than the grower for I haven't done much on my part apart from mixing some dirt...she's received very little feeding, 30 lt has proved enough to go all the way.
She is a lovely speciment with its stunning calyx to leaf ratio, I'll barely need any trimming to do.

Oye, Yukon, no such luxury as cloning around here mate...yet I have nipped off 11 week twiglets (might have said that before) and I am working on a preliminary smoke report  one thing I can surely say is that you're pretty stoned for two hours with the third one being a mellow comedown...

pics at 10 weeks (now we are at 11 weeks, not big changes, just maturing)

Sampled a 10 week lower small bud, the quality of the high is amazing. Good vibes, a bit introspective, crazy thinking type.
Mine have a really sweet smell, grape like, love it. Amber here and there, will keep an eye at the trichs .

Btw I normally like less body, before the peak. She has some amber here and there, i think about 5%.

Very nice job and nice job taking the picture. Wish I could take pics like that. BTW, how much amber are you looking for. You will get a speedier high with less ambers in my experience. I've let them go a bit long and didn't like the effects as well as when they were harvested with less amber or none. Everyone is effected differently, but for me, anything with malawi, including my malawi's that have gone long, puts me into a kind of brain-dead stupor where I just zone out and can't think. I even use my late malawi's just before bedtime, it shuts down my mind so I can sleep, because I'm so used to contemplating all day, that my mind doesn't want to stop thinking. This does it for me. Talk to Yukon, he is a GT fanatic, has grown and smoked a lot of it. He would be a good one to ask. Dubi can give you the best advise, as this is his work I believe. He can get a little buried with work, so maybe someone else can advise you in the mean time.
Peace, God bless

She looks to have hit peak resins and just maturing now... chop now for more clarity and energy chop in a week or when 80%+ amber for more density and meditative qualities.

Nice pheno and nice result too :tiphat:
I had one similar looking but not grapey that was usually best Terps right around 12 weeks. Definitely definitely give 10 or 12 weeks cure before beginning to come to final judgment on her... such a different kitty when you don’t let her out the bag...

Brother get some Malawi x Ethiopian its crazy strong.
IMO just as strong as the GT which I love to death like you.
But if you want something as strong but different its the one to get.
i cant believe how up and clear the high is at the same time as you are loosing it tripping your ass off.
I cant recommend it enough. Dubi said they made the cross to make a KINDER MALAWI well he failed I tell you failed miserably its hell strong and hell good.
In my book better than the Malawi itself but thats just me and everyone I've given it to ha ha.
Its well worth getting man.

Hi everyone,
just been down to the Tiger girls and it's all very interesting. The big one is stacking and I'm not sure if it's getting close or not?? The pistils are starting to turn brown but this may be due to a couple of cold nights last week. I can see some new ones growing outside and inside the buds also, so it still seems like it's stacking. There's also a little bit of purple.Trichs are 80% cloudy and 20% clear.
Daytime temperatures are around 20 degrees celcius and night, around 10. The soil temperature is still over 10 degrees so I'd imagine the plant should still be able to grow. Daylight hours are close to 11.
I may have made a mistake by not giving her a feed of potassium as flowering started?? I did feed a cup of soft rock phosphate but l didn't want to go overboard with the nutes on my first grow.
What do you guys think?? I think the density is a little bit off but weather permitting, she may still chunk??
The smell is a sweet, over ripe mango and reminds me of the tropics.
The smaller one with the big stem is stacking well and is also showing a bit of purple. The experiment of not caging this plant was, in hindsight, a mistake as the weight of the buds is beginning to pull the limbs out of the main stem and bending the whole plant over. It's too late to do it now but the plant is still really healthy and no laterals have died off. It's also opened the plant right up so that's a bit of a positive. It's probably six feet across with the laterals opened up. I thought it was worth a try given how tough the male was; two different phenos.
Both these plants are starting to yellow and it could possibly be water or just that these plants fade differently than indicas because there still should be plenty of nitrogen in the soil.
The last plant must be a Thai leaning pheno, the plant health has started looking up but it's way behind the others in terms of development. The buds are smaller than my little finger nail and have more calaxes than pistils. It's leaves are small and thin and hang down in a disshevelled way and kind of appear to be showing claw.
I've decided I'm going to leave this plant to see if it will over winter as an experiment. I have over wintered a sativa dominant plant near this spot before.
I'm thinking another two weeks should be getting closer.
Cheers,
40

Beautiful result brother! Lovely timing on the chop too... my last batch is getting really sweet and smooth now and the high hits with much more vibrant electric trippy vibe at onset than even two weeks ago..
