Shark Mouse Drying Tech

Hey folks.
Does anyone have any first-hand experience with his 5-day drying technique? He's got me very curious enough that I think I'm going to try it out. It does have my butt puckered up a bit because my dry rooms each hold about 900# of wet weight. I'd hate to torch the terps on all that if I didn't run it correctly.

Rolling the dice with 900 lbs? I wouldn't advise that. For obvious reasons.
Trying it in a tent rather than in one of the full dry rooms isn't going to give me enough data to make a decision. I want to see if it works at this scale, with multiple strains in the room, and having a control going alongside it.

Fwiw my wet trim drying method is usually dry by day 5.

Buds are finish trimmed, placed on racks, and then have fairly cold really dry air blown over them at a decent rate.

5 days to ruin months of work? america! freedumb
lol
Depends on your grow.

While 5 days is generally muuuch lower quality than a 2 week slow dry... 5 day warm dry quality of mine will still hold up against the majority of growers drying theirs 'properly.'

Edit: IMO, a significant number of growers spend months ruining their grow, the methods they use to dry/cure don't really matter. heh

I have found that air around 60-65* and 35% humidity dries pre trimmed flower perfectly. It’s high temps that kill flavor, not fast drying. It’s really about vpd

Some strains are ready to go a week after harvest. Some benefit from aging/curing for a couple weeks. My deathstar and gelato cuts are packed up ready to go 7-10 days after chop. My strawberry cough likes at least 2 weeks and the Kushmints take at least 3 weeks to taste right by me.

The Kushmints also takes another 10 days longer than the gelato and strawberry cough. But it yields around 1.5x the gelato.
