I couldn't agree more with Cat. A healthy plant harvested with adequate nutrition will finish with greasy buds with pinkish hairs. Some of my plants have colored hairs for a month due to pm treatments. Others will turn for sure. One or two I am hoping for the proper finish, very hard to do IMO.

So I shouldnt be waiting for them to turn? Any tips you can give? Thanks for the heads up! I've been wondering why nothing looks like its totally turning

All the outdoor and gh ive grown and harvested over the years have. What am I missing? Im not using anything that causes pistil discoloration. They all look like they're still bulking here.

Like I said , your plants are healthy and not carrying seed, they'll continue to bulk until their metabolism has digested all the elements that have moved in to the plant and biomass which includes psychoactive compounds will be produced until all those enzyme cofactors are used up.

You'll know when it's time just keep going till the wheels fall off (impending weather damage) basically and then see if you can ride it out a bit more if the forecast isn't too bad. When they're healthy they'll just keep putting size on.

Mid bloom for most strains is about now, with 3-5 weeks to go on anything that isn't super early ... I'd push potassium , magnesium , sulfur(amino builder), manganese , cobalt , boron , molybdenum(to convert nitrates to proteins) for a couple more foliars and like I said before , keep watching the forecast for impending doom and be ready to bust the scales because you just crushed your season out with dedication, a great attitude , and a willingness to learn that is uncommon. Big up yourself and take some time to yourself away from the green tether ! You've earned it!

The plant will show you because it will have metabolized all of its enzyme cofactors and completed all of its primary and higher functions

Do you mean calcium? Or manganese? There are many. But nutritionally these are the ones hurting everyone I have seen on here except maybe You!

:woohoo:

Do you have recommendations for the ppm strength of maintenance foliars for these? Can't find this info abywhere (only corrective amounts). Or do you just use aea premixed micros?

Your posts are note-worthy caterpillar710.

I caught a grasshopper in my hand today like a hemp ninja. It did not live.

I also found a potential problem on the shade lotus. Two lower branches in the same area are exhibiting what looks like a classical case of overfeeding. Necrotic tips. To the extreme unlike the zinc deficiency it already has. I removed the leaves that looked like this. No other parts of the plant show it, or any other plants at this time. Has anyone else seen this before or know for sure what it is?

If it is overfeeding I imagine since I stopped with the seablast and fed it a pound of gypsum as of today that it should clear up and not spread. That's my theory but will keep my eyes peeled and see what other folks have to say about it.

Tess,

Your potassium is way too high for the amount of P and S you have. That is what you are seeing.

I know you are big on compost tea, but maybe go to aminos instead. You have potassium there for a couple of years it looks like.

P would help at this point most likely....

Triple isn't that easy to put into solution. I would imagine the cheapest would be phosphoric acid. Triple will mix if it is good one, but it takes forever.... very low solubility.

I would be afraid of lowering my ph any more than it is with phosphoric acid since its already sometimes 4.5. Is that not a problem? Or a better way of distributing the tsp? Do you use it plants?

Yea. Low solubility but you got time right :) pretty sure it's really cheap. And has calcium. It is annoying. I soak my k2so4 for a day before I can even use it. And I still have to grind it in a bucket.

No I haven't used it. I was going to pick some up but splurged on MKP.
