Just got these. Slownickel says I need gypsum. (Thanks!) I'm up on the hill right now. Anyone want to talk numbers? I'm going to water in a half pound of it right now on each mound.

Edit... going to consult with slownickel tomorrow and see what he says. Sweet! Also wanted to add I took sample 1 from my worst plant and 2 from my best. Was a toss up between the one behind me, which I did, and the one next to it, which is bigger, but not as far along.

The plant numbered 1 is the bad plant, the plant number one is the "bad" plant.

Let's see what the crowd thinks.... step right up, come one, come all....

Looks like the biggest difference is S which sn says you want more of to balance high P like we have.

Course if they're both big plants then it could just be that particular plant's genetics?

I was throwing around 1lb of gypsum (two cups) per 200 gal of soil every week for a while now. Looks like you should as well. Get some Cu sulfate as well. Main problem in both is low Ca, obviously.

#2 best #1 worst, lol. There made it easy. Its definitely genetics and me being new at this style of growing. The heaven mountains are my most finicky plants.

Cool. Gypsum and copper are things I have laying around! I gave them half a pound yesterday. I'll do another half next watering unless Slownickel advises otherwise.

So my question is... why Gypsum? whats wrong with Calcium Carbonate? a lot of these folks are already using plenty of sulfate with their micros...

Is there a time when lime would be more advantageous?
