Would all you Canadiens quit sending down your damp bone chilling weather!!!

I had to drag all my gals in tonight as there is a frost warning tonight in my backyard.

I thought I was though playing that game!

Maybe all of you north of the border can face North this evening and blow, maybe we can get the Gulf breezes back!

stay safe

I am doing my part, warming the air to over 70F today.

Got my plant count finalized now, three of my Derailed Blues are male and the single female has been transplanted to continue flowering. Roots were in good shape.

The one that had a 9 bladed leaf is a male. I have not culled it yet, give another day, just to be sure.

i recived 14 db seeds b4 og went down i was going to put them in my waterfarm 8 pack when my chamber was done.

this is one of the best strainz i smoked and i am glad you guys put this thread out here so i can see it grow.

after reading this thread i think ill go with my foxfarm soil in grow bags with pbp.

as for peat cloning i wrote this to a newbie grower.

1: cut a 20oz water bottle in two about 2.5" from the bottom. (this will serve as your humidome)

2: assemble your tools. you will need the following
a. a bowl of clean water with 1/4 strength superthrive
b. a fresh clean razor.
c. your rooting hormone(if gel a little on a plate)
d. a plate
e. your rehydrated peat pellet
f. your humidome
g. a poker the approprate size for your cutting.

3: take your cutting with your razor. make sure to make a smooth clean cut above an internode. your cutting should be 1/8" longer than you need. place immediatly into your water.

4: squeeze out 80% of the water from your pellet. poke almost through the pellet making your hole slightly larger than your stem.

5: cut the 1/8" off your stem UNDERWATER this will prevent a"scab" from forming at the end of your stem.

6: dip the clone into the gell and place into the peat.

7: squeeze

8: put into dome and fit top of the bottle over the bottom. they should overlap to form a seal.

9: put under flouros and open daily to refresh air.

10: wait for roots

i had a faq with pics at og but.........

Ahh... the comparison shapes up nicely.

Mine is actually the runt of the litter. They got off to a rough start, my fault of course. Lets see how she does with this transplant.

Hows the high of DB compared to brain wreck? I was thinking they were the same strain under diff. names.

Tokahontas Brain Wreck was bred from the same Train Wreck as our Derailed Blues. There is another breeders Brain Wreck, unrelated to my strain.

How is the high? For the Brain Wreck side:

Derailed Blues on the boat deck at dawn. Finally, Mother Nature has given me the go ahead, to get some of my gals in the ground.

I don't normally put in more than a few plants of each strain but, since I have to come up with a perfect bud by seasons end, I thought 6 plants would increase my chances of keeping up, with all the green thumbs in this thread.

enjoy!

Dosn't matter what colour my thumb is, you still have 8 degrees of latitude on me. Yours will be the one to beat. ;)

Your Spring comes that much earlier, your Summer Sunlight is more intense and your Fall is milder and earlier. I figure 40N is pretty well perfect conditions for Cannabis.

Northern California, Oregon, the Mid-West, Central Spain, Southern Italy and Turkey all share the latitude.

But on the other hand you'll be able to manipulate your light period by moving in and out of the shed.

Mine are in the ground and when Mother Nature says the game is over, I'm done. I've had snow the third week of Sept. before :yoinks:

I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch....it's a long season full of surprises!

enjoy

This is a Spring side show, the real challenge will be the Summer plants.

I can't hope to finish the high potency, late season plants in the ground. Those will require more special handling in the Fall. I suspect the Derailed Blues will fall into that category if the regeneration is successful.

This Summer, I hope to grow 4 very large LUI clones and see them finished by the end of September.

...It's a long season, full of surprises!

She's looking good my friend...we need a good long smoke report when she's ready..we did get some snow last night but because of all the rain, it didn't stay and we didn't get any frost...it sure is cool out though..our high today(besides the herb...lol) was only 5...I have to get out and check my C99 x Panama Red tomorrow...those three have been out for two weeks..I checked them once..doing fine...stay safe..
