Thanks man thats very helpfull. I watch Pot tv a lot ( a part of the cannabis culture magazine Mark is affiliated with), seen him on a few episodes here and there, seems like a real interesting guy, much like all the "old" stoners I've come across, I particulary like david malmo lavigne's show called High Society, I love that show.

Victims of Mother Nature!

I think by now most people know Northern Dude had Leo problems back in June. That concluded his DB growing.

My DB's were flourishing in the perfect conditions provided in the river bottom. My blue mystic phenos were almost 10 ft tall and my Trainwreck pheno was almost 10 feet wide.

All were about 4 weeks into flower when the storms hit. 50 mph winds followed by a couple weeks of rain rolled them over and split mainstems.

Even with my limited visits I was able to stake them back up and salvage the remaining plants. I though I would save half of the plants before I realized the guy lines supporting the plants crossed the deer trail.

I'm sure the deer that stumbled through the twine, was just as surprised as I was on my next visit. The plants never recovered from being on the ground, giving the slugs easy access.

In all, I lost 3 DB's and 2 Beautiful AK-47's at that location this season.

The remaining AK produced over a lb of dry buds but I was barely able to salvage a few ounces of DB.

Fortunately I had several locations that didn't sustain damage....the bad news was, none of my other locations had DB's growing in them.

Lesson learned: next years plots will have redundant strains planted at each location.

I still have a few original beans left and the DB clones easily......Spring will be here before you know it!

I'm pretty sure I pulled enough stash to hold me over until next harvest season.

Sorry to hear the bad news bro but it still looks like you pulled through pretty good and it could have always been worse. I hope you have better luck next year dude.

ok ,reading these last posts made rush and go check how many DB seeds i got left! nine seeds ..bah

Sounds like there was something wrong with the DB's karma this time, since Captain lost most of his DBcrop, ND got busted (ohh my .. poore ND -goddamn wTF thats fucked up-basterds) and I lost ALL my DB plants in the middle of the season due to storms.
This 9 seeds left are my only chance to finally try this wonderful cross still unknown for me.
Yea Capt that thing about having redundant strains planted at each location is extremely right. it happened to me too and thats when i realized that was the way to go.

Always like to find information on various strains of medicine. I was wondering what the line was from, looks like DB was a Trainwreck x Blue Mystic. Anyways, I like them. We had great success with germ rates, finding females and one extra special one that is still around; frosty as can be.

Derailed Blues x Sensi Star

Hello anyone out there? We over here in the midwest very much enjoy the derailed blues line and hav e "weeded" LOL out our stock and have the mother selected. Keeping the straight DBXSS going, but looking forward to some crosses coming up sometime in the future.

These were some of t he stock we grew out, a little crazy on the stretch, but we got a frosty mom that seems to not stretch as much. We feel a great scrog type line into a hydro or aero type system.
