clintonism and neoliberalism is dead
Should the democratic party fail to produce a genuine populist - Bernie but younger - the republicans will install an authoritarian populist such as Josh Hawley. Which is what I anticipate.
When there is a single source of funds, there is only one party with extravagant bread and circus.

As we keep reminding our redhat friends, the American people as a whole did not vote for Joe, they voted against LOSER45

Last night’s results fall squarely on Bernie and his progressive army in the House.
100%

They shouldn’t let “PERFECT” be the enemy of “GOOD”.

I believe the credit for this goes to the democratic insiders who decided to run an old corporate loving insider,
as opposed to a new young populist, as the republicans managed to.
Which is what one might expect from an entrenched bureaucracy attempting to perpetuate itself, as opposed to a party with a desire to win.
One of those times in life when I sure do hope I am mistaken.

Jeez, this two-party thing you guys have going sure works great. So much gets accomplished while unifying the populace.

Obviously, having to choose your leaders from one of the two corrupt and greedy corporations that run your country, with no voice for outsiders (Bernie is not an exception, he has zero chance of ever holding significant power) is the pinnacle of democracy.

One would think that making everything an Us vs Them fight would be divisive, but nope, the Greatest Country in the Universe has shown that it simply isn't true. Murica!!!

Both parties are afraid of change and the loss of profits. It's a fight over who can make babies faster. With all these dumbasses teaching their kids the same crap they got taught it will get worse, ea generation leans more left/right. Whoever has brainwashed the most voters wins. My parents did not force their ideologies on any including us kids.. They let us learn through life experiences. I don't see that anymore.

Hello all,

Expeditiously....I hope so. Then on the Federal Appeals and then en banc to the SC...will they be expeditious?

Judge sharply questions Trump effort to block records from Jan. 6 investigators

The judge’s comments suggest she’s likely to rule against the former president’s effort to stop the National Archives from furnishing the records to Congress.

To be fair, it was an off-year election. I imagine that it comes down to who’s got the most motivated “fan” base and the redhats seem to be crazy motivated.

A business is not a democracy....
there lies the problem. the place where adults spend most of their waking time and lives is autocratic and not too many seem to care about this because they one day see themselves as a potential exploiter of labor lol.

the owner assumes 100% of all risk potential...this factor alone justifies the lionshare of any realized profit...
you can still do that in a socialist economy. good luck finding people who would want to work for an autocrat as opposed to working in a democratized workplace that puts the workers in control.

a worker is no more than a tool to accomplish the end product..
here's your second problem.

your business wouldn't exist without the labor of these workers. you need them, they don't need you. you also steal their labor.

employment is not mandated or forced
yes it is. if you don't subject yourself to a private tyranny you starve and you die. coercion is force and wages are theft.

all are free to explore other avenues of economic compensation
That more align with their self worth to include entrepreneurship of their skillset

kinda hard to do that when half of workers make $30k or less and don't have health care.

According to the Small Business Administration, only about 2% of millennials were self-employed as of 2014. Compare that to 7.6% of generation Xers and 8.3% of baby boomers. This implies that millennials today are far less likely to start or own their own businesses than their older counterparts. And that’s not all. The Kaufman Foundation found similarly surprising statistics on millennials starting businesses; young people represented about 23% of new entrepreneurs in 2013, which is down from 35% back in 1996.

Millennials own less than 5% of all U.S. wealth
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/09/mill...us-wealth.html

Despite making up the largest portion of the workforce, millennials controlled just 4.6% of U.S. wealth through the first half of 2020, according to data from the Federal Reserve.

Baby boomers control over 53% of the country’s wealth, while Gen X accounts for just over 25% and the silent generation holds around 17%, according to the Fed’s data, which breaks down U.S. wealth in the beginning of 2020 by age, class and race.

While I am not a fan of Biden, I couldn’t disagree with you more. The stock market keeps breaking records and the economy has been gaining strength, as evidenced by steadily improving LEI numbers.

I believe that most people had high expectations for Biden and they’re disappointed.
I am not disappointed, but then again, I voted for a ham sandwich. :D

I didn't buy the marxist bullshit years ago, and im not buying it years from now, 100% capitalist... Period.

I believe you’re really a socialist. :D

Quick question for you. Let’s say you need surgery, like for example, for a hernia or to remove a bad gallbladder, and you get the bill and it’s $100,000 because you don’t have insurance, are you going to liquidate your 401K to pay the bill, or are you going to pull a trump move and just not pay the bill after services have already been rendered?

That's what folks use to do before health care.

Option C, set up a payment plan.
