McAuliffe loses VA race. A state Biden won by 10% of the vote.

vote blue no matter who hahahahahahahah.

watch the media blame bernie or the progressives or basically anyone but themselves for this.

As we keep reminding our redhat friends, the American people as a whole did not vote for Joe, they voted against LOSER45

Last night’s results fall squarely on Bernie and his progressive army in the House.
100%

They shouldn’t let “PERFECT” be the enemy of “GOOD”.

well i dont really want to comment on this because i don't agree with anything the ussr did. and secondly yes its not just a meme lol, the USSR for example were basically fascists. nothing that i understand of socialism, communism, or marxism (not saying im a pro lol) has anything to do with what the soviet union did. the USSR was a bloated totalitarian beaurocracy.... being a leftist means pretty much the opposite of that..... anti capitalist, anti hierarchy, etc.

the common socialist argument is that you didn't necessarily make that business on your own or from scratch or w/e.... so why should you reap all the benefits? simply because you're the undemocratic "owner" of the business?

to simplify the argument let's say you're a capitalist business owner and your business is making furniture... the capitalist provides the capital, the landlord provides the land, and the workers provide the labor.... of the 3 types of people involved in this transaction, it's usually the worker that gets the shaft, right? no worker is paid the full value of what they produce, otherwise there would be no profit/surplus for the capitalist. so okay, but this also isnt taking into account the labor that was required by workers prior to your business even existing in making the tools and materials your workers are going to use to turn those raw materials into a sofa or a bed or whatever. these workers who are doing all the work for you aren't going to see any of the benefits of their labor but instead a wage aka a portion of the full value of their labor. plus those workers have no democratic say in the way the business is done. Since most of us and most of the world are indeed workers aka labor, i simply don't understand how labor would want to cuck itself in such a way that you're willfully under the tyrannical control of another private individual. in the workplace the worker has no say in anything except for what they're told to do day in an day out.

i think this is why we see less and less workforce participation especially amongst young individuals like ourselves. they have no stake in anything and all their income goes to living expenses. They're underpaid, underappreciated, working longer hours for wages after you adjust for inflation aren't any different than what people in the 80s were making etc. there's a measurable effect when you give workers something to work for - ie stake in ownership or a democratic say in how the business operates, people start to actually give a fuck (imagine that!). we don't have to get rid of markets to do any of this. in effect it's basically a updated form of capitalism to democratically include labor to the point where they should be the ones making the decisions (democratically).

i don't really see how anyone, especially someone of a working class background can deny or be against what i just said in the second part of my post unless you get into past genocide and murder which isn't in my vocabulary. nor does modern libertarian socialism have anything to do with the soviet union lol. "leftists" who are fans of the soviet union are known online as "tankies"... these people are vehemently hated amongst the libertarian left and democratic socialist circles. so not only do righties like you hate these people, i hate them too and so do most contemporary lefties.

A business is not a democracy.... the owner assumes 100% of all risk potential...this factor alone justifies the lionshare of any realized profit...
a worker is no more than a tool to accomplish
the end product..
Their employment is not mandated or forced
but rather at will...and all are free to explore other avenues of economic compensation
That more align with their self worth to include entrepreneurship of their skillset

That's American capitolism... grab a brass ring...there everywhere

So, those cops, firefighters, and healthcare professionals who don't want to comply with mandates...

Wise words for your fellow patriots.

This is your stated belief related to workers operating in our democracy, correct?

Those cops, firefighters and healthcare professionals who don’t want to comply with mandates, besides being idiots, are free to explore other employment opportunities. McDonalds’s is hiring. :D

McDonalds NEEDS to hire. i stood waiting for a Big Mac for ten minutes the other day. when i got it, the fucking burger was cold & the cheese even colder! several around here do not have counter folks taking orders, they have two touch-screens where you type in your order & swipe your plastic. food now sucks worse and service is down the drain. i think i'll buy some Burger King & 5 Guys stock...
