Hi y all!
So i think i need a pressure regulator for my system.....
Yesterday i noticed that few drippers were almost pushed out of their hole.....not sure if is because i didnt shove em correctly or because the pressure inside my lines is too high......
Also my drippers are meant to work in range between 0.8 - 4 BAR
After reading a bit, many tutorials suggest that its always safe to install one set on 2 bar (20-30 PSI) that is ideal pressure for drip irrigation...
So my question is...Can a pressure regulator ruin a pump?
My pump (800w 3600liters x hour) is a specific one for irrigation able to push a max of 4 Bar, of course i immagine that because my system is made by 6 19footers, 1" lines, with a total of 240 2liter x hour drippers, the pressure inside that thing shouldnt be more than 3 bar....just guessing.....
So do you guys had any pump problems after installing a pressure regulator?
Thanks
