my grandparents were farmers and worked at a large chemical plant. raised hogs, cattle, trained & sold draft horses, grew tobacco until he found out it caused cancer. they were eat up with money, and gave it all to their kids as they aged so the govt would not get it. not sure how Canadian tax laws work though. hate they lost all that...

Hey, I was a farmer also - raised and trained horses too - some draft - Belgians - grew hay, herbs, cannabis, ground crops; could not bring myself to do hogs - too smart - nor cattle - too stupid - raised ducks and chickens for eggs n supper - good life - got too old - tried giving to nephews - where do we make money? - oh well - quit

most people (esp those unable to afford insurance already) cannot afford to put 8% of their paychecks into a 401k. you are discussing this from the viewpoint of someone that CAN afford insurance anyway. and those payments? they are not gonna let you slide by giving them $20 a month (and probably not $100 either), and you will end up in collections & having your pay garnished. does wonders for your credit score...

Most people are kinda stupid with money, for example they buy a new vehicle off the lot and pay 500 a month for years instead of getting a used vehicle. That money right there could go a long way.

You’re living in a fantasy. Most people can’t afford new cars. They don’t have the option of saving money that they don’t have. Sometimes it is from being stupid. They make a mistake and they don’t have a buddy to get them an apprenticeship. Then they spend the rest of their lives trying to play catch up. You lucked out. I lucked out. It should not be all about luck.

LOL, I have the same truck I bought new in 2000 for $32k. I still drive it every day. I always run my vehicles into the ground before I get another. A similar new Truck today is $50K.

"This isn’t incoherent. It reflects a clear principle: Only Trump and his allies, his supporters, and their anointed are entitled to the rights and protections of the law, and if necessary, immunity from it. The rest of us are entitled only to cruelty, by their whim. This is how the powerful have ever kept the powerless divided and in their place, and enriched themselves in the process."

"It is not just that the perpetrators of this cruelty enjoy it; it is that they enjoy it with one another. Their shared laughter at the suffering of others is an adhesive that binds them to one another, and to Trump." "The president and his advisers have sought to enrich themselves at taxpayer expense; they have attempted to corrupt federal law-enforcement agencies to protect themselves and their cohorts, and they have exploited the nation’s darkest impulses in the pursuit of profit. But their ability to get away with this fraud is tied to cruelty."

"Trump’s only true skill is the con; his only fundamental belief is that the United States is the birthright of straight, white, Christian men, and his only real, authentic pleasure is in cruelty. It is that cruelty, and the delight it brings them, that binds his most ardent supporters to him, in shared scorn for those they hate and fear: immigrants, blackVoters, feminists, and treasonous white men who empathize with any of those who would steal their birthright. The president’s ability to execute that cruelty through word and deed makes them euphoric. It makes them feel good, it makes them feel proud, it makes them feel happy, it makes them feel united. And as long as he makes them feel that way, they will let him get away with anything, no matter what it costs them."

At the moment, views of the president have soured.

Among the findings:
  • Nearly half of those surveyed, 46%, say Biden has done a worse job as president than they expected, including 16% of those who voted for him. Independents, by 7-1 (44%-6%), say he's done worse, not better, than they expected.
  • Nearly two-thirds of Americans, 64%, say they don't want Biden to run for a second term in 2024. That includes 28% of Democrats. Opposition to Trump running for another term in 2024 stands at 58%, including 24% of Republicans.
  • Vice President Kamala Harris' approval rating is 28% – even worse than Biden's. The poll shows that 51% disapprove of the job she's doing. One in 5, 21%, are undecided.
  • Americans overwhelmingly support the infrastructure bill Biden is about to sign, but they are split on the more expensive and further-reaching "Build Back Better" act being debated in Congress. Only 1 in 4 say the bill's provisions would help them and their families.
If the election were today, those surveyed say, they would vote for their Republican congressional candidate over the Democratic one by 46%-38%, an advantage that would bode well for GOP hopes of gaining a majority in the House and the Senate. In a president's first midterm election, his party usually loses ground, and this time the GOP needs to flip just five seats in the House and one in the Senate to claim control.

If the presidential election were today between Biden and Trump, 44% say they would vote for Trump, 40% for Biden, 11% for an unnamed third-party candidate. In the election last year, Biden beat Trump 54%-47%.

This is the crap racists spew that keeps America divided.. Trumps actions helped all Americans: started successful talks for peace in the middle east, had oil prices (<$20/barrel) at less that half the current pricing (>$80/barrel), gas has gone from <$2/gallon to now ($3.25) and now your moron is closing more pipelines for oil and natural gas. Liberals do nothing to 'help' Americans as a whole (black, white, yellow and red) and call anything a conservative does racist. Thats their 'divide and concur course' of action.

I don't know why I come here and talk with idiots. I'm out. again..

Hey why is there no emoji of a happy face with an American flag Gypsy?

Yeah, bye.

Your rants add nothing. The number of logical fallacies and just dumb statements in your post show you aren't very smart or even capable of understanding the big picture. Your typical "poor, picked-on conservative" whining is just pathetic.

If LOSER45 runs in ‘24, he will lose, because that’s what he’s really good at. Losing.
He was born a loser and will die a loser.
He does have one other talent besides losing.
He’s got a talent for separating fools from their money. Got to hand it to him for that. It’s like he went to televangelist school or something. lol
