I gotta say it... I've tried many strains, both from ACE and other breeders, but ACE's Congo has recently blown me away. I'm thinking it's the first strain/plant that has really said "keep me forever". And I sure do want to. Social, mood-elevating, mentally stimulating, and it even helps with pain (which I didn't expect). It does just about everything I want it to do. Give this one a try if you can.

Thank you very much Undomesticated for the positive feedback :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Congo so much, i also enjoy a lot with Congo's mood enhancing and stimulating effects, quite underrated strain ... i'm sure lot of sativa growers would appreciate the euphoric and positive effects of this strain.

Here's a quick glimpse of what's going on...germinated about 1month ago. I'll have to pick just one. Currently looking into n3 and n5. Feminized pack.

Hi Bleiweis,

It's a pitty you can only pick one, hope you can find a good home for the others. Best wishes for the outdoor season! :)

I found really good homes for the rest of the bunch...and i've kept only one just as i said. I've picked the one with the fastest growth and shortest internode distance. I've only managed to picture it from the top...no space to do fancy photos.
Otherwise growing Congo is a real charm so far. She roots a lot and very quickly. Leaves are deeeep green and she want's to be bushy...fat lady for sure! Managing to keep her really low down...less than 50cm in height and already 2months from germination. When can i expect her to start flowering at N47 and how much does she stretch? Hope i didn't pick a long flowering pheno...got to have it done till the 2-3rd week of october max :)

I have a friend in Canada who raves about a Congolese cut he has,it's the famed BC 'congo'.
did this plant arise from ACE seeds originally or is at another Congolese?
(As far as I know ACE is the only collective to offer pure Congolese seeds)

Greetings Dubi,
i was wondering if congo is trainable. I need to grow indoors and i plan on flowering from clone to help keep the size down. I also would like to scrog. Also led for lights and DWC. Any thoughts (nutes) would be appreciated. Thanks.:joint:

If i can just chip in about that question.
I gave one fem. Congo to my friend. Seed was germinated at the end of march so the plant has over 3 months of veg.time. He transplanted it in a 20L pot. I saw the plant yesterday and i have to say it looks wonderful. He tops it all the time because he has a height limitation of 1m and the plant didn't even reach 0,6m. There are numerous branches...veeeeery branchy. So yes...it's trainable definitely :) he also did some LST in the begining. I would say go for it! I'll try to get a picture of it and post it here :)
No thoughts about nutes because im an outdoor grower.

Best wishes

EDIT: pictures added

Bleiweis- thanks for the info. I have been kicking around which beans to pop and the Congo has really caught my eye. I need a good day time smoke that tastes good and has an uplift in mood.
However i am restricted for space and i didnt want to pop the congo to end in disaster.

Hi Chrondiddle O,

Honestly, I'm not sure about the origins of the BC Congo, it's far from here .... anyway i'm glad that your circle likes it. Sorry i cannot help with more details, i should try it first to provide a more accurate answer.

Greetings Stonyherbs,

Thanks for your interest in our Congo strain. It's definitely a very easy strain to grow, it grows very manageable, compact, branchy, with a short-moderate flowering time but still retaining that lovely, clear and happy stimulating congolese effect.

It works great both in SOG or SCROG, there's no need to flower Congo from clone in order to control its size. It also accepts very well the nutrients, it's not a sensible strain in that sense.

Hope it helps with your doubts.

Greetings all! I popped a congo from Ace and i am very excited. I am posting this here to say i tossed the bean in regular tap water and she popped in about 5 hrs. I now have her in FF Light warrior. in a week i will switch her to FF ocean forest.
I plan to take a clone and run her in DWC to flower. Will see...

I need some urgent help.

I've got a Congo female in a 50L pot. She had droopy leaves for quite some time in the smaller pot then i transplanted her in a bigger pot and she got her act together. A couple of days ago droopy leaves apeared again. There are also brown spots on the leaves, you can see them on the upper and the lower side.
She's growing in rich soil with batguano added. That's all.
Anyone has a clue what's going on?

I hope i can fix her :/

The situation has gone from bad to worse. A lot of the leaves are yellowing. They have brown spots all over them...seems like they're rusting. Growth/flowering is stuned.

C

Collembola

can you post more pics of the effected leaves ?

maybe a fungus, but i have had spots like that with nutrient deficiency, also maybe pest... (sorry).

leaves drooping like that looks thirsty to me.

(potentially good opportunity to get nutrients into them)

---------

you haven't had rain and cold temps recently have you ?.

maybe plant couldn't get to eating something, for too much moisture ?.

also, best to judge plants after morning if they are cold etc > your nice photos look like the morning / evening (??)
