I looked it up n the 710 pac sounds awesome.

Can we discuss it here w/o violating the tou?
I'd love to hear of any of the members discriptions of events/hangouts!!

I keep meaning to get more involved or social in the canna scene.
Between being busy as shit, and having grown up in the "counter culture" I tend not to put myself out there all that much.

Events like the bongathon hav brought me countless memories of good times.

Btw jst announced.
33rd BAT August 6 2016!!!!!!

N as always
Big ups respect and happy growing!!

so long as we dont discuss arranging meetups offline i think we are good with TOU, just talking abotu the vibe of a place and our experiences there, sounds safe, until told otherwise, here goes:

i've been hanging out at 710 pac for a long time, pretty much since it started. it's a nice large venue in the "arts district" of colfax in aurora. lots of cool events there, more recently since the place has been renovated (it was a tattoo place previously). i hung out there more before making my "big move" out west, but i REALLY enjoyed hanging out there, it always felt like an after hours place, like we were partying in a place that did actual bizness during the day (not much apparently, tho since it's NOT a tattoo place anymore, now JUST a venue/private art collective/PAC).
the average event that i attended consisted of a dab bar with 2 options, option A & option B. you could a few dabs of each to sample, then vote on your favorite and a winner was declared at the end of the nite. anyone could "sponsor" the event by providing the dabs for one of the "options". they did a bracket style competition where 8 weeks led down to 2 finalists.... that was a good run i remember, didn't make it to all of them but at least4 or five.
like i said, they do BAT promos there, i attended a pre-party and post-party there a couple years back... they did an xmas party there for BAT promo/planning/organizing this season.

overall it's a nicer atmosphere than ibake, just not open as consistently, prolly alil mor $ in door fees at the PAC tho. imo pac is RIPE for opportunity, they NEED attention and income so anyone wanting to do anything could potentially throw it at PAC for the right price and exposure. :2cents:

How much product to enter for the A&B Daboff?

I think SeaFour is closer to right on the drag races...I accidently tuned into just that expecting top fuelers a few months back. I REALLY wish they would go back to the closet.

I don't know if I am going to be attending the Frost Bowl. I am going through some very personal problems that hit this week-end. Let's just say I had a death in my IMEDIATE family Friday.
I might have an extra ticket or 2 but not certain yet. I just don't know if I can face that yet. Who-ever goes in my stead needs to be ready to stand as a grower in the awards ceremony in my place. I already entered 2 strains but failed in getting the 3rd in. I doubt that I will win but I need some-one to stand there anyway. I do want 1 goodie bag the other is open to who-ever I choose.

Does anyone know where I might find a VERY large Tonkinese??? And willing to trade for herb???

damn, sending condolences to you, corvette doc, so sorry to hear about your loss... nothing can prepare us for those kinds of losses. my partner recently lost her 18 yr old daughter, suffice to say our house has been a lil upside down lately. anyhow, doc - sending some love your way, hope you can enjoy some down time at the frost bowl, and if not, perhap some other cup/gathering is around the corner...

Sorry for your loss CD. Same for you Avinash.

On an unrelated note. CO has some weird alcohol laws. I called some places that I am going to eat at next week, and found out Corkage Fees and bringing wine to a restaurant is illegal.... Now... On the way to the restaurant, me and the wife can pick up 56 grams of shatter..... but don't you think about bringing wine into a place that serves wine.

yhea, co has strange alcohol laws, the whole 3.2 beer thing is crazy to me.... not that i care, just seems burecratic and pointless.
also- i'm hearing that the "club bill" is dead in it's current for (the one i posted a page or 2 back). the legislative session just started so i'm bet another incarnation will rize again.... only time will tell.

I hate the fact I have to go to a liquor store to buy beer. Just another stop I have to make. I rarely buy liquor and I get wine off the internet.

I also have to plan it, when I am in Englewood or Littleton, because it's about 3 bucks cheaper a case than where I live. Very ironic to have rec weed and such Draconian alcohol laws.

Huge beer state too.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a service, that would go to your grow, and do shit for you! Like a Molly Maid... Marijuana Maid?

And they could be hot and dress like French Maids... Wait. Im getting off track.

Wow, just saw your post Covette Doc, sorry about your loss. We lost my Mom a few years back and I know how devastating it is to lose someone close. Hard to see now I'm sure, but eventually you'll laugh and smile again.
