Thanks Herbgreen. Im gonna kick this new years off with some bud porn for everyone.

Ive got a few SkunkHaze in flowering, that are 75% Skunk, 25% Original Haze. Parental lines used were Mr. Nice Shit x Sam's HazeSkunk. I like to dip into these beans every now and then, but a high occurrence of intersex traits keep me from running larger numbers. Still some nice gems in there if I can avoid the nanners. Got 3 SkunkHaze flowering atm, and this is the nicest of the bunch with the fastest development. Should be ready by Day 90-100 for harvest. Somewhere around 60-65 days right now. There's even a slight touch of purple creeping into this girl as we get closer to the end. Glad Ive a clone of this girl in veg.

And a Golden Diesel teaser as well. The DP isn't the only line in the garden that likes to strut off its autumn colors. This Classic Seeds Colombian Gold x Sour Diesel has some nice plum colors to show off. Im a sucker for aesthetics, and Ive wanted a really colorful line to cross to the DP, and it looks like I chose well when I paired the DP with the Golden Diesel. No wonder some of the hybrid offspring had amazing colors in the fan leaves. I really dug the plant that had the black/gold fan leaves, now if I could get that look again with the metallic appearance some of the DP have, id be in fan leaf heaven.

Thanks Nico @ Baduy. Hope your gardens are off to a good start this new year.

I pulled out the camera the other night and snapped some quick pics of a few girls in the garden. Got some photos of DPF2 to share, as well as a pic or two from some SkunkHaze.

We've seen this SkunkHaze just recently. She now has lots of purple and autumn colors showing up in her fan leaves, with the buds taking on more purple as well. Just a few weeks away from harvest with her I feel. I can't wait to smoke it. All 3 of the SkunkHaze tend towards the Skunky aromas with it being 75% Skunk. One of the sisters has a Sweet Skunk profile to her, one has a very pungent Skunks ass profile, and the girl below with the Acrid Skunky/earthy aromas. My personal favorite is the Pungent Skunks Ass. Will need to share a few photos of her sometime before she comes down.

A couple of shots of the Sweet Skunk sister. Wonderful sweet/candy skunk smell to her. She's got the smallest buds by far. Not going to yield much at all, but hopefully its quality. She was the first one to show any color in flower, starting with purple creeping into the buds, and an intense dark purple/green developing in the fan leaves.

Thanks Dr. Young @ Buddah. I appreciate it. Ive brought some photos of DPf2 with me today. Got quite a bit more on the camera to work through as well, but for now lets all enjoy some DP shots.

Here we have a DP thats been flowering since Dec 21st, so were about 24 days into flowering. Got several more females in the flowering room that I hope to share soon too. I think 7 in total right now. I had another group of females that I wanted to flower, but I was having problems with them. Instead Ive rooted cuttings from every DP plant and culled the unhealthy seed plants, while flowering out the healthy ones. Will do a larger run of DP soon once the clones progress further.

Here we have one thats purple right from the start. The plants who start off with purple buds tend to be the fastest flowering plants, but they also usually have the smallest buds/yield. Im gonna have to increase her feed a bit as she's suffering a mild N def on the bottom there. Thankfully she's the only one with any yellow leaves at this stage. I love her terp profile. A sour, pungent pineapple/grapefruit punch aroma. Im pretty sure this plant came from the original DP-D plant who had the same type of terp profile. I had labeled which plants were from DP-D when starting this round, but at transplant I forgot to do so, so now Im left guessing which DP plant came from which mom. Sadly I only had like 15 seeds from that mom to work with, and none were made available in the first two rounds of DP releases. In the future I hope to introduce some beans that have this terp profile.

Golden Diesel Plant Harvested

Golden Diesel Plant Harvested

Ive got a few photos to share of one of my fave Classic Seeds Golden Diesel plants thats been drying out in the container over the last week or so. Snapped some photos of her before the full wilt set in.

There seems two be two diff phenos in this line. The green and the purple ones. They both start flowering green, but before too long the purple sets in and the calyxes start to turn purple on about 30% of the plants. The green buds usually smell like a field of wildflowers that are growing in a damp musty basement. Interesting profile???, but not really my favorite. The purple ones are more of a sweet/skunk w/ a touch of pungent/musty aroma. Much more to my liking. Taste better too. Ill have to share some photos soon of some purple Golden Diesel buds before they are gone.

Although I said she was a fave at the start of this post, after seeing the last picture Im not so crazy now. I hate the long stalks on her, and the density of heads isn't comparable to the DP I posted recently. Also I noticed enough stalks that were missing heads that give me reservations about this girl now. She'll get another run in the near future to see if she can make the cut.

Got some shots of another DP to share. Pics were taken on the 16th when the plant had been flowering for 26 days. This girl has a mix of pink, purple, clear, and milky heads on her right now. She's got the sour pineapple/grapefruit punch terp profile. I think she should be ready by day 90. This run of DP are looking alot like the original seedplants did. But there are a couple of tall lanky girls I found in this run. Ive got one of them flowering, that Ill share next time. Almost every DP has begun to show yellow leaves, along with leaf abscission, so its looking more like low N levels. With this development in under a month, I can't say Im surprised.

Never had the privilege of growing out DP, but I've been very curious about it forever, it seems. I've been following along with you for a very long time, envious of your gorgeous plants :)

I just obtained a 25 pack of mixed Durban Poison crosses that I hope to dig into over the next few months, and your thread's got me pretty excited about the prospect, lol.

This is what I got from Fleur du Mal:

California Orange x Durban
(Durban Thai-High Flyer x C99) x Durban
(Durban Thai-High Flyer x C99) x (ESB x Durban)
Basically got those because the price was within my very meager budget.

So not exactly pure Durban, but there is Durban in the mix and I'm not sad about the Thai genes either, so I'm stoked just the same.

Classic Seeds Trio

Classic Seeds Trio

Sorry for the lack of updates gang, but Im back to get things going again. We'll start things off with some Classic Seeds varieties Ive been itching to grow out.

I started 10 seeds each of Classics:
(Hawaiian Berry x Hawaiian Skunk) x Classics Berry Indica
Hawaiian Skunk x Romulan
(G-13xOaxaca) x (AfghanxLebanese) GOAL13

Ive got at least half a dozen other varieties of his in the freezer, I need to grow out as well, but eventually that day will come. Could come sooner as germ rates have been iffy on these older seeds.

The GOAL13 had the most germ with I think 8, but also most of them have the stunted start, so they'll be the furthest behind. Got a decent number of H.Skunk x Romulan, (6 or 7) so Im really happy there. Only 2 of the H.Skunk x H. Berry x Berry Indica came up, and thats the line I was the least concerned about, so things worked out okay.

A couple of days ago, I dumped out the containers of the ones that had not come out, to find 8 more seeds had germinated. 2 had died before making it to the surface, and the remaining 6 had kinda gotten lost in the media. Some had gone downwards, while others just seemed to be stuck not knowing what to do. I replanted the 6, but I have my doubts anything will come of them. Good news is the ones who had no first set of leaves are beginning to develop their first set now. Coming in odd and stunted, but in time they'll out grow their problems. Just gonna be a slow start.

Speaking of seeds, I also put down another pack of Zamal hoping to get some to germ, but I wont be holding my breath. I also opened up the pack of Madmacs GTxTHH. 20 seeds have been put into fresh media, and should come up any day now.

Some seedling shots.

2 (H.Skunk x H. Berry) x Berry Indica on left.
6 H. Skunk x Romulan on the right.

The following progression shows how most of these older seeds started out, and slowly develop their first set of true leaves. Process takes 2-3 weeks, but eventually they'll be growing like normal plants.
