Cinderella 99 The Come Back

I've been wanting to get some from a few different banks to play...

Anyone know much bout the kos or peak seeds c99?

KOS the Rev says they smell like figs. Not sure that is what I am after.

Peak seeds seemed to lean grapefruit cindy from the few reports I have read. I think I em'd him too and decided it wasn't worth looking there.

These new ones from Fleur Du Mal are looking more promising as they reach the 6th and 7th nodes. I had them under flo's 6500k showing wider than normal leaves, but I normally don't veg at all in flo's. Once I put them under 400w HPS they started to grow narrower leaves at the new nodes. They look very uniform for leaf pattern, internode length, low odor, with 2/5 that are I'd say 30% shorter overall.

As with anything for a real valid opinion on it you must grow it to maturity before making any final assumptions. Not sure when I will post pics thinking to wait until they are flowering but I probably will. Not much interesting about veg shots though.

I'll update as flowering goes. The smaller one was stunted at transplant from solo cup to 1gal (rootball crumbled). Stem rub doesnt seem to smell like either grapefruit or pineapple to me, not quite sure how to describe it.

They do look more like the new stock than I was hoping. That tells me he did not use a C99 but rather a "New C99" on the reverse to whatever mother he was using. Probably not Princess as I am fairly certain she no longer exists. So that leaves a mishmash of combinations that it could be. I now believe the new brothers grimm release to be an outcrossing or an incross back to his p.75 if and only if he was able to germinate the 20 year old seeds.

Much more indica growth overall. The real C99 will have much more elongated internode. I hope to have some pics up of the ones I am running as soon as they are pic worthy.

I am pretty turned off as is StarCrash from the New99 just going to refer to it as New99 from here out.

The Apollo may be worth looking into but I don't have the time to waste at this point. Maybe after the FDM C99 are checked out.

some gems to be found in them seeds for sure ...

I finally up potted and tossed one of these bloody tossers into bloom to see what dreams may come....2/5 showing female. I put the most Sativa leaning of the 2 into the bloom room. I did not top her and most of the 5 are stretching and showing beginnings of lateral branch growth. The overall growth is consistent with Cindy. The 1 to go 12/12 is very much reminiscent of GNO3 f2 that was a very very sweet candy fruit punch. If these are half of that I will be ecstatic.

I am seeing 2 or 3 different phenotypes. Leaf patterns from 9 leaflet Sativa leaning (like the bloomer) to 5 fat leaflet shorter ones. My Grail was a 5 leaflet max short bush that didn't put out hardly any leaf only round rotting fruity candy buds. Middle Phenotype looks a lot like the grapefruit I got from the recent Joey Weed C99, nearly exact replicas. Next to bloom with hopefully be one of the fat 5 bladed shorties. Wish me luck!

True, LostTribe, the original C99 had longer internode lengths and never put out more than 5 leaflets. Interesting that you think he probably doesn't have Princess. I remember when he announced bringing Bros Grimm back that he had posted some amazing pics on instagram; he showed Princess knocked up with seeds, big bags of P75, P50, DTC99, etc. I checked again, but couldn't find the pics. Princess looked close enough to be real, but you never know...

I actually did have more than 5 leaflets on originals but my best was only 5. Yeah its just the new99 is so far from the original release I just think its an outcross or a hybrid. StarCrash was also pretty upset once he discovered cat piss in the line which I also found. Nothing sugary sweet and tropical. My keeper #4 did have a tart fruitiness but not sweet, after a long cure she went sour spice. But no rotting hazey fruit candy.

Also, folks form OG and CW have brought up the fact that he never gave out cuttings of Princess although they did give out cuttings of Genius. The Genius is more believable but at this point its anyones guess.

I am at day 3 bloom on the more sativa leaning FDM C99 female. She showed preflowers at about 4-5 weeks as did 1 other seedling. All were up potted and hope to be able to take top cuttings from the rest to bush them out.

Here are some shots to show the growth and structure. Been on 12/12 for 2 weeks tomorrow. The 2nd one looks almost identical, the 3rd (runt) is slower, starting to show some deficiency in a couple leaves.

Hello, I see I can post so I will give some information on my grow: 4 seeds from a 4 pack terminated, after a week were put in 10 gal pots, Coast of Maine Preimum Growers Mix, amended with worm casings, under 2 Sunsystems 315 Ceramic Metal Halides, supplemented with 5 4.5 ft. LED strips, using Cartesian well water, oh of 6 to 6.1. I have followed Lost Tribe and tried to duplicate the nutrients he's s using, at 24 hours of light in veg. It appears there may be 3 distinct phenomena, 3 leaf types: one has long, thin delicate sativa leaves; the largest one, by a week, is dark green with heavily serrated leaves, 30 inches in 19 days; the last 2 look fairly " normal", big, fat flat medium green leaves.
