Looking good, gorilla! That bangi haze horizontal grow worked out well didn't it! Sucks the durban poison got damaged. The remaining bark should grow back. Tough plants. Thats probably a rodent of some kind doing that. I'd put out repellents. Cayenne pepper type would work.

The weather has been dry again here and some of the plants are showing slight signs of water stress. Drooping leaves and some yellowing of the lower fan leaves, which could also be nitrogen deficiency. But thankfully only a few plants are being affected so far. This Shaman was the worst for yellow leaves although in this pic most of the damage can't be seen on the lower half.

This Bangi shows signs of deficiency as well. It was planted off to the side in clay soil and this may be the cause as well. Care to guess what you think is causing this.

The S6 is a monster and my tallest at about 9 ft- 2.7 meters. It seems that it did not like being blown over. I think the stem almost added 50% to the girth in the last month since the last visit.

Here is my first attempt at auto's. They are very finicky and I should not have started them inside. They were 6 inches tall and starting to flower when i put them out. The rabbits seem to prefer them as I noticed a lot of fan leaves were eaten but they did not do any damage to the photos that I have noticed.

You can see the clover that I planted in the last pic. I planted several times but it was so dry that most did not germinate.

Looks like a potassium deficiency to me. Water stress related, like nitrogen. Autos look about how mine looked a few years ago. You have to be in a race with them. I like the clover, but cover crops are supposed to be rotated in after your regular crop. Not sure if theres much benefit growing the cover crop along with your produce. Sorry to hear its so dry. Good conitions to finish out your plants, if they dont get thirsty. Love that big trunk. Should be plenty of buds hangin off that one.

Thanks for stopping in pipeline, potassium is not what I was thinking. We will see what others think, you may be right. The clover helps fix nitrogen into the soil and is good for camo for the bare ground. I hope the girls get a good soaking then a dry fall, well I guess all outdoor growers pray for a dry finish. Just 3 hrs away in the mountains there was snow today.
cheers GG

That Serious 6 looks nice, man!

I tried to plant clover this year, but it never took... perhaps because the top of my soil was sun-baked. I'll have to to even perhaps a light top dressing next year with a loamy soil just so the clover seeds take.

Not sure what that deficiency is, but diagnosing such things is NOT my specialty. I usually just consult the big sticky in the infirmary forum but, again, usually to no avail.

Thanks for stopping in DT,

Well other than the dry conditions and a couple deficient plants, most plants are looking good. Insect damage is surprisingly low. The bad news is only 2 strains are just beginning to flower. The Serious 6 and Pinewarp are furthest ahead in flower, but only just starting. I had tried to pick fast strains but they are probably not fast enough. Time will tell. Probably my fault for picking sativa dominate strains. The night time temperature last night dropped to 4 C - 39 F and a early snow was falling just 3 hrs. away. Scary.

Here is a pic of the Tikal that will need a miracle to finish properly being a 11 week strain.

Well the El nineo is supposed to bring warm weather this fall so you never know. Maybe a good finish will happen for most.
Hope everyone is having a great season.

Hey Flboy, I was thinking female as well, but the Bangis were really late to show any sex for me up here.Even the Tikal showed first. I hope your right about flowers coming soon. I am running out of time up here. Maybe I should move to Florida so I can enjoy the sun and grow monsters like you.
Cheers GG

you will see them before long know brother. i just got back in from the plot. i was a little late than usual getting back had to do some tying off on the purple haze x malawi and sprayed them all with guano tea high (p) and (n) those 3 plants have not started to show yet. these things might go till the last holiday of the year or so. boy O boy and they have become real monsters. i will post the recent bangi pic's i have got today. they are starting a good coating on them. i will update in a few minutes. as far as growing monsters i don't think i will do as big as they are a hand full to keep up with. but come on down we can figure it out together besides i will need the help later lol

stay safe brother

Looking pretty good man, Canada rocks!!! :D

thanks Xorc420,
They were starting to show signs of dehydration on last visit. The weather has been very dry since then about 2 weeks.
But the rain has finally came today. And it may rain again next week.
The temps have been dropping fast as well a few times this week are going to be about 5 C - 41 F at night. Will try and update with pics in the next week or so. Hopefully I see a lot of flowers forming up.
Peace GG

Yeah man, I understand that you've got to work under some extreme conditions. But I love that kind of grows! :tiphat:
