Butte County

Is there an online report form? I only see the PDF for mail in, could you link me to it? Or are they taking emails?

Aren't we able to see all of the complaints with a simple FOIA request? Even a FOIA on county emails if that's how they are accepting them? Or look for outside influences on the ban. If the complaints are anonymized it might not matter, recognizing if its automated, 5 people or 100 people complaining should be noticeable. Then maybe we can work towards (dis?)proving if it's county employees using public tax dollars to generate these complaints.

The rabbit hole goes deep...

I thought there was one but its been a while since I surfed their website. Everyone was talking about the sheriffs making up reports on their phones so I figured how else could they do that? If they're the ones physically calling in then that should be just as easy or easier to look up as well.

On a pro measure a site they talked about calling in complaints, after searching the number the county says its to report bho labs to the sheriff, not code enforcement Maybe they are accepting the complaints that way.

Borderline criminal false police reporting by measure a supporters if the don't accept CE complaints at that number.

I think we should all start calling in different days giving different complaints and different addresses and start sending them on a bunch of wild goose chases all over butte.see how that goes and how their money and time is spent bunch of lame ass sheriffs and code enforcement

I just drove through Butte county and my impression was that there was a lot of old money from orchards and farmland and they probably control the county in unimaginable ways. All this with a strong meth undercurrent. I saw a fat piggy talking on his cell phone at a stop light then keep talking after he started driving although he was obviously not involved in urgent business. I felt a little pukey while I was there, knowing how they feel about growers there. I was glad to get home... If you are calling in complaints, try to make their fat asses walk up steep hills if possi le.

Yes FOIA / CPRA requests are powerful and can always be filed but you need to be specific with each request you file.

FOIA forms are fed forms specifically to find out things regarding federal grant money going to Butte for helicopters, money, etc. This would be sent to a federal agency.

CPRA Is the equivalent the FOIA but for all California governments- state, local, county, etc.

The request will be routed to the relevant department(s) you mention in the request. Attorneys, Newspaper, and media reporters are usually experienced at filing these correctly to get good results. Here are the CPRA forms for local government.

Anything can be requested for example all emails exchanged between the Board of Supervisors. All the emails between the code enforcement staff. Even if they're not using their county email address and using personal emails those can also be obtained. Etc. etc.

Hello everyone. I just moved to a small town in Plumas County, fairly close to Butte County and was wondering if you guys could give me some insight on what the laws are like in Plumas? Are they similar to Butte County? Is there a decent population of growers who have an influence on the county cannabis laws? Thanks for your input

For more fun, go to the county offices with a laptop and scanner and start scanning all public documents that might be relevant. After which you may post here!

I like this idea! Would be ideal to Find an,old grandma whos not growing or anything and set up tons of cameras to document them breaking law.

Maybe even send em over to sketchy meth trailers and tell them you saw them hauling off empty butane cans

. Send them to empty places at the very edge of the county and then watch the log to see if it works. " I was 4 wheeling and about 45 miles up the logging road there was a hippie unloading a bunch of pallets of dirt"

"There's a greenhouse about 27miles past the last house on the left"

Send them to people who work for the counties house like the judge and give them a taste of their own medicine.

Just got word from a contractor in east oroville that approximately three miles of telephone wire was stolen starting at the Church on olive highway heading up past the casino at midnight last nite resulting in the loss of telephone service for hundreds of residents. Butte County Sheriffs DO YOUR FUCKING JOBS and stop harrasing legal mmj gardens.
