Or watching, seeing what they get away with, and formulating their own plans as they see things fold out...

Also, Butte is a pretty unique county, IMHO

^^^that's kind of what I figured...just waiting for the green light to follow suit, I'm in a pretty unfavorable county as well...so naturally I'd hope that it was more of an isolated thing.

Was looking into moving from SoCal to NorCal and from what I have read it seems that a lot of counties are now cracking down for some reason. It kind of makes me want to stay put for now until the climate changes again. Or move out of state.

No its fucking on! We are fighting this crap to the end. Then we will deal with the state after this county bullshit. This winter we must start a lateral cannabis craft union. No one can fuck with us when we have the entire pier 5 law firm on retainer. All we need is 100 members with 5k each to start. That's nothing. Super easy to do if go bi-county with butte and yuba. I could probably get atleast 20 members in one day on the yuba side, maybe another ten on butte and that's not including everyone on this thread or people you all know. I know some power players that will join and back it too.

You guus in butte should start drafting your own cannabis initiative soon and get ready to qualify it in a few months to get it into a special election in February or march. That's when people will most likely be ready to take action because they are going to want to plant their garden really bad after this year.

New to ICMag, was recently encouraged to join and am happy to no longer be a silent observer. encouraging to hear that the oppressive enforcement in Butte could be coming to and end if we be band together and start putting our money in the right places. My family operates a small farm in butte that will be fallow this season because our psyche just could handle another round this year. We've been meeting with lawyers all spring and had finally landed on a firm operating out of SF but I am intrigued by this Pier 5 group Sunfire is referring to, I haven't heard of them. Would they be able to set up a coop/collective and prep our small farm for legalization licensing framework, how could we go about getting a consult? Going to try to stay active here so our farm can help, we Butte-rs gotta unite, together we can grow!

in order to even get to the legal licensing framework the cultivation ban needs to be overturned first. other than that, any legalization will not help butte county at all, since a b266 allows local control. so we need to get a cultivation initiative on the books just like yuba is doing and get it to pass the oppressive BOS and the idiotic voter base.

any other information from the meeting? what is the %% of cases that have been cited? if 500 cases were cited, than by their own admission 10-20% result in no citation, does this mean they have hit 1500+ properties?

and they are still fronting like its "public participation"….what a bunch of lies. wish they were open for public comment.

any idea on next update? so pissed i couldn't make it…fucking hand watering is wasting my entire mornings!

"riverside and san Bernardino have reached out for information on enforcement procedures" ...surprise surprise. My agent tried to get me to take on some owner finance land in pinon hills was a good deal but I told her no thanks its on the wrong side of the LA co/SB co border not to mention people seem to get busted growing there often.
