shit most people were under the impression everything north off 32 has been relatively untouched this year.

i heard some crazy things about oroville drug policy right now…i know a guy who's pretty rough and knows alot of the oroville flatland trailer trash. apparently most of the junkies in town are super comfortable now, due to that proposition that released non violent felons, there are rumors in town that as long as you dont have more than a quarter oz of meth/H/coke that they aren't even pressing charges. there has also been a huge rash of auto theft in oroville/thermalito flat lands as well.

I haven't seen much action up here. I kept it to code this year. Really blows.
We had tweekers steal decoys from us in the afterbay Area. They know nothing will happen to them if they get caught.

There are junkies shooting up by my friends house.. They pull up in front of his neighbors house and throw the syringes out of the window when they're done.. He picks them up and throws them away when he walks his dog.

He talked to the local sheriff about it and they said even if they catch them all they'll do is write a citation.

They're handing out free passes to be a p.o.s. these days.

RealHash - that seems like a pretty powerful conversation to get recorded. LEO is incapable of stopping or stemming the flow a hard drugs, yet has all the financial and legal resources to prosecute medicinal growers.

Haven't seem much action in the Berry Creek area. Was assuming there would be an all-out assault up here by now...

quaestion about how the new rules work. My wife and I both have our scripts. We live on a little over 5 acres. Is it 150sq ft per script or per property.

per property unfortunately, which is why measure A is so stupid. totally restricts collective and co-op grows. pretty much only enough to supply one light smokers meds for the year.

so today it was kind of confirmed that zeke is not going to help hands on or actually go with people to court. in a way its good that we finally have this clarity so that we can move on. his class is solely for the education of constitutional and blacks law, NOT a place to discuss prop215 initiatives.

he did say that he thinks that those who have been served inspection warrants should go to the countys risk management division and file a claim for violating 4th amendment rights via invalid search warrants.

Alright butte county here's the latest information I have on enforcement. Yesterday butte County sheriffs code enforcement and the deputy district attorney Kevin Sorenson served multiple inspection requests abatement notices and inspection warrants on properties in Cherokee on condor Road area. Many of these properties and residences had already been served inspection warrants sometime in April to May. Nearly all of the growers had already packed up and moved out for the season. So it is safe to say that they actively plan on rechecking your gardens with separate warrants whether or not you had come into compliance at some point further down the road during the season. As I said most of these properties had no marijuana growing on them at all. code enforcement gave no indication to the property owners that they wanted to recheck their properties just a warrant . Why the DA was with him I don't know but presumably to find evidence of criminal wrongdoing. Be safe do Butte county they have no intention of slowing down enforcement and inspections after you come into compliance

Damn that sucks. How is a deputy DA finding time to ride along on code enforcement warrants? That right there screams a run around of the 4th amendment..

Kevin Sorenson is the biggest hack of a deputy DA. Not mention the Sorenson's have quite few family members on the Butte county payroll - one wonders if they were all the most qualified individuals for the job, or if county nepotism played a factor.

Just keep gathering the info tankerton you guys are doing great. I talked to prop a little about this but maybe it should be said here. Perhaps you butte folk can start a lawyer fund and start asking for donations from friends and such. This could turn into a long battle and we don't want the front lines losing steam cause they got mouths to feed and bills to pay. Plus most of what's already been done has been on voluntary and good faith status.

Butte needs to take it a step further and start a PAC immediately - fund the PAC, which in turn would fund any legal bills. The PAC could also fund an ongoing PR campaign. Measure B supports contributed nearly $100,000 to the cause late last year, which out-funded Measure A supporters by a 3x factor - so we know there are monetary supporters for the cause.
