Back to these Blue Cheese ladys...... I got a few pics of these girls, they have finally stopped stretching thank fuck!

plant #5 was the first to stop @ about day 17-18, the rest have just started to show signs of flowers @ day 21 bloom... I cut 4 of the shiva skunks down so there's more room fer em now. As they're big bitches the will need that extra space.

Did you start those from seeds? also you've put the sprouting right under 12/12? no veg at all? if so does the plan took longer to grow/flower than it would normally do if vegged 2-4week? ...and like darrinjefferson asked, what yeild do you expect from them? Look like ± 1ounce each?

I am wondering cos I will be starting my grow soon and I wanna grow around 8 strain in 36' area with a max height of 6'. My goal is to find the smoke I like the best,kinda like you, and make clone from it. So I think this kind of grow would suit me best, small pot, small plant and almost no veg at all!

love that single cola pheno sky walker, starting to look like huge cola in the makings.

the SD2.5 clones in 1 lt pots are amazing dude. i think a day or two of veg would have been ideal in terms of max yield. like you said they are amazing for lurkers lol. that's a hell of a clone you have there.

Thanks for the cool comments bro this is only the second time that I have put these SD's in small 1L pots of coco... first time I got between 11 - 13grams but cant really remember lol... The plant pictured with the orange pH pen looks around about the same size as the ones that yielded 11 -13grams on the first try, but it has a larger cola so who knows I will post the yields when dry, stay tuned :wink:

You could theoritcally fit 60! of these 13cm x13cm pots in 1 sq/meter, I don't know what yields would be like with a medium yielder like this but with a single cola dominant heavy yielding beast like critical mass or chronic you would do very well IMO.... there were a few growers on cannabisworld that did high densisty sogs and were claiming phenomenal yields.... anyway I am ranting... but cheers for stopping by!

Sup bro, they were not seeds, these are clones that as you say above got no veg time. I understand you can start seeds with bloom lighting (12/12) from germ to harvest, and I seen a grower named L33t I think, getting great results growing this way (usually gives 1m-1.5m with sativa doinant plants). I don't think this method works so well with Indica dominant short plants. I'd veg at least 2 weeks from seed for any Indica varieties if you try this method.

You can pack many plants in using small pots but it's best done using clones as seedplant have larger root systems than clones. I doubt you would yield much at all from a seed in a small pots like this. Best to grow the seeds out and find a keeper then go from there.... good luck bro anymore Q's fire away.

perfect height he says lol.... tell the girls 2.5' under the lights that teehee! It's all good though the shiva skunks have like 6 days left, I'll take one or 2 diesels @ 9 weeks, then 1 @ 10 weeks and finally the last 2 @ 11 weeks never had them @ 11 weeks and this is the optimum time according to all info rez provided about this strain.

I am planning the to let the one pictured with the orange pH pen and another larger girl go 11 weeks and they should yield real good by then.... gotta get some GH ripen today.... run out last grow and wanted to see how much differnce it makes using it in the last 2 weeks, been using it so long now I could'nt remember if it done anything or not I can confirm my suspicions that it does indeed add bulk and get the girls to push out that last bit of bud and finsh off nicely.

I think your right about the SD 2-3 days veg and that would perfect for this size pot... can't remember if I told ya before but it was chosen from 4 packs of beans for the taste more than yield. Yet she is no slouch in the yield department either...

hey nep wassup bro good of ya to join me... the first few I tried in these pots yielded between 6 - 13 grams, the largest one was between 11 - 13g but I started smoking it as soon as it was dry prior to weighing so the higher end (13g) is a guess 11 g is what I remember weighing.

I started flushing the smallest sourD on sunday and cut it down today, the wet wet is 27grams but it's not as developed as it should be I just wanted to see what the high was like @ 8.5 weeks.... I will take another @ 10 weeks and leave that one pictured with the pH pen until 11 weeks- time rez recommends.

The larger 1 pictured with the pH pen will get left till 11 weeks and I'm sure the yield will be good from the wee 1L pot.

I got some males of the Blue Cheese that I gave to a friend to get some pollen from. And hell ya these feckers sprung up on me really stretced a hella lot!

The other plants (apart from the lil sour diesels) will be down on monday to free up some much needed space!

it will be cool to see how it is at 8.5, 10 and 11 weeks, great experiment. i see you still like to try thing to lean new stuff eh? just like in the old days on OG? remember when you gave me the hint about using the rhizo longer then just at the beginning, the trick of using a half a mil per litter until week 5 or 6 of 12/12 came from you. i still do it to this day. it keeps the roots that stick out of the holes in the bottom of the slabs totally healthy.

yeah, I still use the 0.5ml per L of rhizo into 12/12... as you say it keep them roots fluffy and white, plus helps keep any shock @ bay IME.

anyway man, before i get all nostalgic. what's up with your plants man? must be time for a pic update again soon, no? hope they are doing well. the BD are starting to show some calyx swelling and trichome coverage, as well as leaving a strong bud smell stuck to my finger for the way home from checking up on 'em, lol. i only touched one bud leaf, to get an idea of the smell. well i certainly got the smell.

sup gm... a lil nostalgia never hurt none

I been nusy trimming the shiva skunks up, and more impotantly making bubble ala~ bubbleman's bubble machine instructions. I was pleasantly suprised to see the results from such a short spin as 3 minutes very nice, better quality, less contaminent from the first run, and a decent quality from the second 15 minute run.

That was all with fresh unfrozen trim, but the water was very cold/semi ice.

Then I froze the trim from another 5 plants and will make that stuff tommorow to see if the quality is any better and if it yields more. Whe the trim is frozen.

I also been moving the Blue cheese plants about into better positions and the like. So I'll get some pics up tommorow.

Sounds like you got a nice stinky sd v3 example there then man... what was the smell like?
