Hey Mampi old mate, nice to see things going as well as ever. i see your planning to flower some seedlings directly without making mommas and clones eh? that should be fun, i love watching seed plants do their thing. just killed off my old diesel mums, man those things had thick stems like smll trees. to be honest they look like a stretchy pheno don't you think? when with you 12/12 them.

Hey GM what's up... I am going to take cuttings when they been in 12/12 for 2 weeks might even keep a male to piss about with... They were put into 12/12 on monday.
A few are alternating at the nodes and preslowers are popping up everywhere. I think there are 3 girls and 1 dude so far but cant tell as I didn't have me magnfyier to look up close. They could well be males though cause they normally show first before the ladies for me.
Anyway more as it happens!

Hey guys scuse the lack of updates I been a lil busy of late and borrowed the camera to a mate. Will be picking it up tonight and I'll get an update up fer yas then.
The wee plants did'nt take too well from when going in at first I think the change from 110w floro (3 years old!) to 1000w (600w & 400w) was a lil harsh on em @ first and they got a lil sun bleached but all is on the mend now and they're cracking on nicely.

i look forward to the pics. i know how it is right now, small plants come out from under tubes and get a shock from the hps. i think it's due to the heat. my last rooting phase was not smooth at all and you know how smooth these things normally go. have you got one of them split ac unit's you told me about?

OK so I was taking some shots of my shiva skunks and getting round to doing the Blue Cheese all individual and nice like. but the frikkin battery run out and my mate has still got the charger! > my mate>

Managed to get a lil shot of some of the 7
suspected girls and 3 of the 4 suspected males.
Here's the girls amongst a few other shiva skunks in full bloom.... they're all over the place in this pic but were sorted out once suspected males had been identified.
And the males.... gonna keep the cheesiest to dust the cheesiest female with :wink:
Here's a few sour diesels 2.5, test run to see what they could do with no veg time in 1L pots....
Should have good pic of each girl tommorow/tuesday night...

that SD 2.5 clone you have has a very nice look to it. i love the bud structure. i think my SDv3 mum number 5 has similar looking buds. of course it's early days yet for my diesel search.
never mind about the charger mate, you can do the update pics an other day right?

The cheese is all the rave where I am from but my circle of grower friends is pretty small and no-one seems to have a clone of the original cutting yet. In the absence of the real deal I had to go with the next best thing.... Big Buddha's version. From what I have read it has got good reviews along with his cheese backross. Check em out bro, seem like they're worth a try.

I gotta comend first the original holders of ESCD and secondly rez dog for getting it into bean form.... one thing I can say is that throughout rez's stabilization process I have seen example with this bud structure in nearly every stage except the SD 1.5 & Double sour diesels....
Even though as I said it's been hot in here so the buds are not as far along as they could've been and structure is a lil different (more airy) than usual for the same reasons. Although they still exhibit the small dark green bud leaves synonymous with the sour diesel and that silvery green colour to the buds themselves.
Pretty weed that's fer sure and smokes damn good to bro.... bet ya can't wait considering the large amount you'll have to sample to find that special momma :wink: bet it pays to be GM's friend this run eh!? lol...

you know i smoked some of that famous Cheese, it was briteside's, very nice stuff. you can tell why its so well liked clone, one of those trichome covered strains with a strong smell and taste. it was one of very many incredible samples, hence it's not easy to recall all that much more about it.
yeah i'm really looking forward to the diesel testing. i'll have 8 phenos to test lol, should be fun. hope you also find the cheesy pheno you are looking for.

Here's those pics from yesterday.... got a lil messed up on the sour bubble yesterday.

Well back to these Blue Cheese then, I ended up with 6 girls instead of the 7 I suspected, still mores females than males so it's all good
So it turned out that pheno's #2, #4, #5, #6, #7, #10 where girls and pheno's #1, #3, #8, #9, #11 where lads which where all chopped down bar 2, a blueberry dominant male which is short and has a thick stem that has a sweet smell when rubbed, and a cheese dominant male which has a good sized stem, is taller and displays a cheesy frangrance when the stemmed is rubbed.
Anyways, enough talk here's the pics... ladies first :wink:

Well it's looking good.... a real single cola dominant lady.... the seeds were feminized so I'm keeping my eye on this 'girl'

yeah I heard a few reports that skywalker was'nt that potent but I don't see hopw it can't be as ya say it's a mazar(afghani) x blueberry cross and I only ever heard good things about those 2 strains so I dunno man...
I don't really like fem'd seeds but got em of a mate so I decided to try em.... another mate of mine is debating a larger fem'd seed grow from those femaleseeds.nl fella's we'll see what results he gets but I prefer clones miself.
