Lol, me & the misses like a good toke yts! & that skywalker is pretty smokable pot... it's also not the strongest like I said so u end up smoking quite a bit! The shiva skunk is still about... there were quite a few of those, got them curing away. The sourD got toked up by all me greedy mates! and there was'nt much of it... but this should sort that lil dilema out for christmas

few sour diesel... few sage n sour, and a shake of shiva skunk for good measure. Planning a nice lil sog for mi cupboard...




W'sup Fj That cheese that you show looks alot like my #5, nice pictures... frosty buds!! So your cheese is big buddah right? Does it stretch alot? fairly quick finish @ 60 days mate.

Sup Gm... from the looks of things the Blue Cheese will need @ least a week yet... although one will be ready for harvest on monday. Namely BC#5 here's a few pictures of it. It's been flushing for 3 days now.










The other 3 are still on ripen and will come down in a week from monday as they are still showing plenty of white hairs and haven't swollen up properly yet. They could probably go longer but the new batch of clones will be over ready and it's a high density SOG next so I need to keep the new clones in order.

Here's some pics of BC#10, I have'nt taken much pics of this one but it's getting a lil bit bigger now, still nothing to write home about but here's the pics all the same.








Last one is a close up of a BC#6 bud, this one smells ok and has a few trichs... non are really what you'd call resinous bar BC# 5 which has a decent layer of trichs.

the yield on that thing looks fantastic mate. i wonder how much that plant will weigh in the end?

Gm the only one I am taking down is BC#5 the first one pictured above... the trichome heads are mostly cloudy with a few ambers here and there... I could probably go a bit longer for a really narcotic buzz but one of my ballasts has gone and they're all huddled under 1 x 600w light which is a tight squeeze as some are very wide.

I'll cut the BC#5 in monday as it really is nearly ready.

The others are still getting feed i'll give them 10 days to ripen up but after that they gotta get the axe as my clones for the next run will get to big for an orderly SOG... pity really as they did start to show some promise @ this late stage (10 weeks bloom) but I don't plan on keeping any of them I don't think, they take too long plus I have some white russian & ak47 on order and plan to get something from rez too (missed the strawberry D's - due to low funds!)... looking at princess diesel or maybe D39.

The white russians & ak47 have pheno's that finish in 9 weeks and are very good pot from what I read... rez's reputation preceeds him so I know I should find something in a pack or 2 of his seeds.

So many strains and so little space... ah well... that's enough seeds to get through afew grow's and while the next one is going I'll start the beans... probably AK & princess diesel/D39 first.

Your right about the BC's showing a lil something toward the finish line, it's just a pity that to really get the rest finished would take at least 13 weeks I reckon, it's 10 weeks tommorow... I have'nt got the time or patience for that so they can get to 11.5 max...

Re the libra's- the pots are 15cm by 15cm and the libra's are 100cm so 6 per tray with small gaps in between.

yeah over 10 weeks and things get borring, lol. i preffer a good keeper that is finished inside of 10 weeks. 12 weeks would needto be a very special strain to keep it lol. although there are plenty of sativa lovers who have thai strains that take up to 16 weeks, lol.

Man I just lost my post to the post gremlins! lil b'stards!! I was ranting about long flowering strains n' such, just bs lol...

So here's the abbreviated version-

Gm I could'nt wiat more than 10 weeks normally, but I guess it;s not worth taking them too early or the whole grow would be a bit of a waste. As you say great 10 week strains are in abudance at the moment... but I have seen folks waiting a long time for sativa's too... each to their own eh?

Due to unforseen circumstances- the misses has got choirs for me on my day off!
I cut the BC#5 tonight, well just now to be precise... Less than I expected but the buds smells and looks better than I expected it too when I cleaned it up... Unfortunately my battery died on the camera before I got any decent close up's but here's what BC#5 gave up... (355g's wet weight) The others are taller and wider, with more branhes. They should harden up nicely in ten days so I expect more from them...




And here's a lil bubble from the fresh trim (unfrozen) run for only 3 minutes in the bubblator.

hows it going bro? you trimming that blue cheese yet? any roots on the SourD 2.5 clones? keep up the good work man.

btw i went to my grow supplyer and he asked me what i thought of the bioboost? and i told him that i wasn't really sure about its effects, but that i have been having very good yields since i use it. he was of the opinion that the bioboost is vastly overpriced and not always fresh, which it should be as it has a short shelf life. so anyway he has stopped stocking it. he gave me a botle of some new stuff that one uses like bioboost through the whole flowering phase from week two of 12/12. he said it works better then bioboost, lol. as its much cheeper i am trying it out. this supplierhas never given me bad advice yet. he was talking about a 20% yield increase, that might be exaggerated, i'll have to wait and see. you don't add it by the mil, you add a bit less A+B and make up the last 0.2 ec points with this stuff. the same guy saved me money on the new generic coco slabs, he also told me about the hessi powerzym being cheeper and just as effective as the cannazym, he gave me a replacement for rhizotonic too, but i haven't started to use it yet as i still have rhizo. should be interesting, i'll let you know the details once the run is finished and the results are clear.

Onto me bubblator.... not a bad bit of kit mate, yeah pretty nice really would'nt go back to hand held food mixers for anything, lol! running the machine for 3 minutes produces a good grade of hash, I then go onto to run for 6 min for the second run, and depending on how that turns out I may do a 3rd and final run for another 6mins.

The let down for me so far has been the bag that goes into the mini washing machine (bubblator). The zip sometimes comes down so I pin it shut now... but there still seems to be bits of leaf getting through somehow....

I personally think the grade from my ice-o-lator bags is good, but the more particular hash smokers may opt for the multi bubblebag set of bags. I may pick up a few mo bags to see what I am missing. Anyway good to see you hash mate, as always big up your breadbin for me!

humbolthippy#1 I don't think that this is an improvement on the UK cheese (clone only) I don't really have much good to say about the blue cheese I think there bob! as my mate hashishinreidica would say long bloom time for fairly good weed just don't cut it in my book.... Although I will say that the BC#5 has turned out to be decent pot, just not expceptional couple that with the bloom time and ya only have an OK strain.... plus there are pheno's I have that WILL go 14 weeks!

What is the name of this new stuff that replaces bio-boost on your nute shelf? I was going to use it but you've kinda put me off now... I was thinking about trying bcuzz's coco boost but I noticed that they have an indica version and a sativa one which would be a bit of bother because as you know the SD is sat dom and then the Oasis is indica dom from what i can gather meaning I'd have to get 1 of each then creative come watering time... As this grow will be drip feed I can't see that happening...

I'd be interested to see or get a name of your new boost though.

this stuff is called cal gel by biogreen, concentrated plant food.

here is what it says on the english part of the label:

calgel is a high quality plant extract containing all macro and micro nutrients required for growth and bloom in any medium.

-visibly improves the absorption of nutrients at the root;
-assures a tangible strengthening and toughening of the top;
-assures a measurable increase in the mass of end product;
-assures the availability of sufficient magnesium for optimal chlorophyll and protein synthesis;
-does not contain harmful coloring agents and is not diluted with water. it consists only of the purest raw materials. therefore use with a low ec
-biogreen calgel is completely biological
-no best before date.

Use:

give once a week with the feed water. if using hydroponic growth methods use twice a week. if used in combination with the feed, reduce the ec of the feed in the tank by 0.3 and increase it again with calgel by 0.3 from the first week of bloom. (note: my guy told me that they mean after week 2 of 12/12 when the flowers start to show)

Mixing:

shake the container well, pour into a measuring jug. dissolve in hot water then stir well. because this is a pure undiluted fertilizer, it dissolves faster in hot water. once dissolved it is ready for use. fill tank to 3/4 then add solution.

this stuff costs 80% less than the bioboost. mind you its not the same stuff. bioboost has some sugars and starch added. i will try this stuff for this run and then i'll know more, lol.

your b cheese not impressing me really i got 5 regular from barneys in march 08 today its 6 foot and after a (fim) in may now has 16 fat colas not bad for 16 euros I should get 16 oz dry in flower 9 weeks still goin 4 another 1 then 1 on a flush just soil and baby bio canna pk13/14 for 3 first flower weeks back on the bio now cant belive whats happening and Im a newb. germinated under powerplant 125 w flourocent for 5 odd weeks then a 400 halidefor 3 weeks outside for a bit 2 ish months now is under the influence of 2x400 sodium's quick dried a bit week 5 of flower to taste and it was deverstating stank the whole pub out and my friends and I were in the beergarden. need to get a shed to dry the fucker in. Add a chain saw the main stem is 6 and a bit" round with branches like broom handles has nice small snappable stems in flowers though normal ish.
