Ok well what do yas wan't first the good news or the bad news

Good news eh!? Wise choice... the sourD's are plumping up nicely... taking a couple down tomorrow night @ about week 10 & the other 2 next week same time @ about week 11.

So that was the good news... now for the not so good news!

These blue cheese girls have continued to stretch uptil this point (day 34 bloom)! They looked like they were gonna put on some bud around 2 weeks ago! but have just continued to stretch & STREEEETCH! They're all about 5' high and look like straight sativa's!!!

I don't know what the fuck to think at this point, I got the beans from a store myself and the pack was untampered with... sealed infact. yet they look like & behave like a sativa?? WTF!!

Ah well ya win some ya lose some... looks like they'll need a minimum of 6 more weeks

hey mampi how long those ladies meant to flower(breeder discription)looks like there is a way to go yet unless they finish like linford christie.are you on the standard 12/12 light schedule,have you thought about or tried 11/13 in theroy should take a some days off the finish time and hopefully not mess with the plant to much.

how much more safe headroom do you have to play with?

mhh the SD 2.5 looks very nice indeed, like yts said, pity you didn't veg them a tinny bit longer. still they seem have put out as much bud as they could eh?

Good grow dude! It does kind of suck about the cheeses stretching like that. I grew some nirvana white rhino and it did that too. I was fuc*in' pissed 'cause it was my only plants. But I did only pay 20 bucks for 'em. I did try to grow one more out of that pack later and it did the same thing. Want some white rhino seeds?!!

werent those ladies seeded the average weight of a full Blockhead grow would be ~ 550 -600 g dry weight , w/o stems and trimmed ...

here's a quick update on the Blue cheese or whatever the feck they are! Now @ day 39.

First up is the only one that looks like it will be done by about 75 -80 days... seriously! All the rest look like they're @ about 21 days bloom!! But are actually on day 39 as I said before.






Anyway here's the only one that's looking like it's got any chance of doing well IMO.







here's the skywalker not doing to bad, few more days on the PK13/14 and then back to normal nutes.














well that's were I'm @ with this current batch... still pretty pissed @ how these blue cheese turned out, although I was warned by a couple peeps about the skill of the 'breeder' in question- Big Buddha. Oh well! ya live & ya learn

Maybe serious seeds can set me on the right path...

GM the blue cheese is really (cheese- aka skunk#1 x Blueberry) I believe both Blueberry & skunk#1 have thai in there genepools although I would'nt expect there is much thai in there definatley not enough to produce fully blown sativa's which is what these plants are pretty much turning out to be!

The skywalker is another plant altogether, extremely like pictures I have seen of her before, resembles mazar (afghan) in apperance but has the full on sweet berry almost like a fake berry car airfreshner smell... not so sickly as a car airfreshner more of a palatable scent. Quite nice.... I hear that she is not very strong though although Dutch Passion say she has a pretty high THC content like 18% or summin so who knows.

I hope they are worth the space too man, but only time will tell :wink:

Sure aint gonna reserve my whole space for any un-tried & tested strains from now on! Serious seeds here I come

lol i have said the same thing to myself lol. no untested strains. but in the end i get curious about some, and if there is no clone to be had, well then i just have to do the seed thing and hope for the best, but never putting all my eggs in the tes basket if you know what i mean lol.

today i smoked a couple of the smallest buds on that >SDv3 pheno 1 i cut down 2 days ago. it was still very fresh, but leaveing it cut up on the table for a while helped to make it smokable. the taste is already better then the smell or lack of would have one believe. i was quite impressed with the hit, was a small spliff and i was really quite high for awhile afterwoods. but anyway this stuff will be cured for a few weeks before i do a real smoke report. all the other diesel are still standing.

intresting what you say about the 2 day dry then toke... I have done this myself with my 2.5 and the taste as you say does get much MUCH better with the cure, so does the potency, but out of all the herb I have grown the 2.5 has the is the only one 'smokeable' as in taste and hit after a quick dry.... no real clorophyll taste more of the actual taste of the herb is present very quickly IMO.

As you say man untested strains are a PITA but sometimes yas find a gem :wink: that said I doubt that I will grow these again due to the long flowering time, unless it's some really REALLY good shit!

My White widow is the same, i can smoke her half wett and she will already taste quite nice, lol. even if i harvest her at 7 weeks 12/12 she'll be a good smoke. the best strains, will let you know that fact very quickly in one way or another lol. the fact that they are of the best lol.

Blockhead smoke´s awesome ... , some pheno´s being very leafy , but the second one pictured (lower 2 pix ) is a real nice lady with a strong soaring high that last very long and is a bit motivated too ... the smell is real dank and complex ..

GM I hear ya on good herb having a good taste even after a short dry. Makes it that much better as ya never know when your stash my be low and need to fast dry a bud or 2 :wink:

Fj the venomhead sounds promising, looks nice too I'll check your thread out mate.

This is what the sour D that went for 11 weeks looks like.... the nice one pictured frequently with the orange pH pen yielded 12grams... less than I expected but pretty good all the same considering that it was in 1L of coco and under far less than the 'best' conditions at times during the grow.
