Can't wait for summer! I think I got fertilizer figured out. Putting down the composted chicken manure before digging, then one time in june, then putting 2 inches compost down in July. Will that be enough? I don't want to them to be loaded up at the end.

That's exactly right, every year about this time we celebrate the UNChristmas by dancing and desecrating the corpse of the nazarene. We feast on his rotting entrails until it makes us vomit in extasy. Then we roll in the vomit and have a mud wrestling party. So fun. PRAISE OUR LORD SATAN

I don't go for the hash very often but if it looked like that I think I would. Pressing dry sift, looks like a good product! Sounds like the resin terpenes and flavors are preserved. Must have cured properly. If you let it dry down too much or too quickly, it probably wouldn't have been as good.

The loud resin indica has turned out to be what I thought it was. Even though I dried it down too much, it still has great taste and potent resin profile. It was so loud as a plant but now it is super quiet smell because I dried it incorrectly. Will have it out in the garden again next year, but will be sure not to dry too much. It would be a good one for making a round of hash!

indeed, the drysift contains more taste than the bubble in my opinion.
always according to my experience (if you have a different opinion I will listen to you with passion): the dry is more in the extremes and the bubble more uniform. let me explain, when I do dry, the first quality is better than the bubble, but the quantity is very low (2-5%) and loses quality very quickly as the passes progress. also to make large larger quantities (of poor quality, full of vegetable residues) you can obtain 50% (or more sometimes) compared to the basic weight (a bit like the Afghan and the Moroccan commercial).
with the bubble, I get a lot more high-end resin (10% Sometimes 20%) but much less tasty. so that the resin does not dry out too quickly, I dry the grass between one and two months, then I put it in a jar once it is quite brittle. for the hardening phase (which is in my opinion the most important phase) I practice one or more Frenchy cannoli-type pressings, then in a ball for as long as possible in a cool place, in an anti-UV box (sometimes it's hard to resist ).
In case you've never done it, if you have trouble getting it to harden properly because it's too dry or too full of plant debris, mix well by regularly adding a few drops of hot water.

normally I use a pollinator with a 120 micron mesh (which gives me better quality), here I use my 150 micron grinder, as I smoke about 2.5gr per day (if I only smoke weed without hash), with this quantity and my grinder I get out between 0.5 and 1gr of hash per week. usually this hash I keep it in case of stomach pain. compared to what I do with the pollinator, I compare it to a 2nd quality.
if this year I'm not using the pollinator, it's because I need a bigger yield.

it's more of a box with a 120mic drum inside.
yes it's pretty good, even if many prefer to tap manually on a sieve, as I don't dab, but smoke in joints, I'm not looking for purity at all costs, but rather a texture that doesn't burn too quickly , soft and sticky, but not too much.

no no, I don't smoke just one gram of hash a week, that's what I produce with my grinder when I smoke my daily weed, then I keep it.

Yeah that sounds right! Going to be icing over this week, plus we're celebrating Christmas, so I'll probably be testing the bubble. Its good stuff when mixed into the pipe! Makes it go a lot further and helps keep down tolerance I think since its a mixture of plants' resins.

I've had plants recover from the 100% frozen situation -

but one of the good ones hermied.

Not sure what strain that is, i place seeds every now and then in that flower box. Could be (kali china x chellakutti)x widow thai. They only get direct light in the morning. Got some spidermites in summer what killed the other seedlings and did take very long to flower. The color change got more intense with temps below 0°C the last 2 weeks but it started with the real autum temps in nov.
