Nope, tons of calcium in the mix, maybe some extra mag is what you need. Add some epsom salt.

i don't remember who , but someone on here was running V&B under LED's & was showing defs ..... maybe he'll chime in & give you a heads up .

I had some problems with deficiency on my LED tent vs HPS but I think it was due in part to increased transpiration and lockout issues. In the end I dropped everything (was supplementing with RAW calcium magnesium to 0.3 EC from 0.1 tap) and went straight V+B and increased handwatering frequency and it turned out alright.

I think when running that RAW cal/mag it meant tat my base feed was 0.3 EC from desired strength (low) and that was exacerbating the problem. Still much to learn though.

We use the 500 scale around here. You must be talking 700 scale if you say it's 1.4. On the 500 scale 1000ppm would be 2.0ec. Anyway 1.4ec isn't to high as other people go up to 1.6ec as bloom progresses. Lot of N in V+B so you'll have to back off a lot in latter bloom.

They seem to be tweaking their nutes a lot and coming out with additives to make things more complete but Idk why they just don't come out with separate formulas for the veg and bloom stages? I know it'll be weird since their claim to fame is being an all im one nutrient but most of the pics I see of people running it have spear shaped or foxtailing nugs that are way too green towards the end, especially when using the HD. Even though I liked it I stopped using it, a good product but I won't be using any again until they have took a little more time to refine their formulas.

It's been a while since I've did any research on them but do they have a recommended feeding schedule yet?

its not their formulas that need to be worked on , its you dialing it in ! its all been talked about in this thread , i suggest you do some reading .
being a 1 part ..... its going to have the same nutrient levels from begining to end , how you feed it & how much is the dialing in part

I don't know you but if you have been following this thread and have seen Dans pics of his harvest I don't know how you could come to your conclusion ?? his buds are plain fat juicy green $$$$, ( faded green or yellow from leaching )

I never judged his pics and I agree with you totally that Dans' buds look great!! I'm only talking about the majority of pics I've seen posted by other V+B users, ICBuds included, the nugs are usually pointy, spear shaped or have foxtails. *I can't be the only one seeing this, am I?* Not trying to start a commotion or anything just calling out my observations and figured I'd share them with the community. After growing with it for over a year and dialing it in in multiple mediums on multiple strains from my old moms to newer seed plants I can say with 100% confidence that have plenty of room for improvements, they need a stronger formula for veg for one and a mid-bloom to flush formula IMVHO

& again as i said before , its NOT thier formula ! its all in how you use it ..... thats all .
& i agree , most are not using it right & its messing with thier budset & finish .

you think they should break it down in to 2 or 3 parts instead of one because thats what you like , so go ahead & use your 2 part if thats what makkes you happy , but don't slam V&B because it didn't fit in with what you like

Come on guys have yall read my post? I'm not bashing them at all just stating some things I thought would make them a better product, you yourself had some issues with it iirc and I know all strains don't use the same amounts of nutes but look around at the grows for a minute you'll see a lot of green, unfaded plants with hella foxtails.

Why has it got to the point where people can't share what you observe on the forums? No wonder everybody is on IG.

Truthful, the majority of the pics I see on IG repping V&B don't look good to me either. Dans is one of a few growers that get good looking results to my eyes.

Can't comment on whether it's user error or what but yeah, I know what you mean with the speared out running colas.
