you'd have to get a sample of the dirty & mix it with your tap water once to see where the PH came out , but i'm pretty sure when my kid was using it with tap water , no PH adjustment was needed . it came out to 6.5 for him after it sat out all night . mixed it came out to 5.8 but it climbed over night , so he just fed with it the next day .
your probably gonna feed like once a week or so for a guerilla grow right ? a full dose mix & you should be fine . if ya can though , check the PH to see if its at 6.5 or close to that before you head out with it .

I always have the same numbers Dans! didnt get a picture but the cheese finished great! thanks for the help with that Dans, the Dirty is solid as a rock! 5.8 seconds after mix and 8 hours later 6.5 and will sit there for over a week!

Hello everybody! How many of you are using the fwok media? Ive been using veg+bloom for a couple of runs in happy frog media with great results. I've just been really curious about the fwok for a while and wanted to get feed back.

Its good stuff Rajiv! Expensive but good. I dono if you have ever grown in rockwool before but my plants grew better in FWOK than in 6" rockwool cubes. Went back to coco though, got better results with coco. Have to let it go through wet/dry cycles to build root mass, than you can water frequently and things will blow up.

Anyone compare the tap vs ro veg+bloom notice any differences? Likes or dislikes?

Would like to get rid of my RO filter if possible but not if i take a hit in solubility or some other aspect im not thinking of.

I do have crappy FL water....~250 (+ at times) filled with cal carbonates. In coco if it matters.

On first run with RO v&b now and its frikken rockin! Loving the ease of mixing. Not really interested in dirty or HD at the moment....i'll let everyone else figure out the issues first :)
i used VB dirty in tap water.in soil & coco worked grate.
But i do have good water? about 6.9-7.2 ph,& 160-200 ppms

Awesome DankemsHunter! What was your watering method? I asked cause watering from top rockwool starts growing algae if uncover, at least for me it did. So wondering if that would happen with the fowk.

Top feed, algae never got very bad on mine. Just let it ride, doesnt hurt it. Eventually canopy will cover it

ICbuds,

Can you tell what strain it is? It's tempting like heaven.
Is the frostiness due to the nutrients you use or is it a trait from the strain itself?
I can't belief that a certain nutrient boosts frostiness so much it can transform a strain from a mediocre to a top notch strain.
I'm growing for four years right now and I have never witnessed that the frostiness changed so radical just by changing the nutrients. In my experience giving the right nutrients in the right quantity raises the yield and the plants health( for example giving Ca diminishes the chance to get budrot) quite a lot, but I have never seen a dramatical change in potency by changing the amount of given nutriënts.
Of course if you give for example nutrients rich in N(itrogen) and lacking of K(alium) & P(hosphor) during flowering you won't get decent yield and you won't get decent bud, but I think ( and I'm suite sure) that this is due to a decrease in plant health.
B.T.W. you'll still have something smokeable.
Please tell me your opinion.

I agree Josey. There is a learning curve with any new product I dont care how long you have been doing this and how much we think we know. And anyone who doesn't think so doesn't know shit. Ive seen same plants different growers produce an entirely different product. Know Ive had strains around over a decade and I have seen them act different a 20-30 different times different feeds different foods and different environment conditions no matter how you cut and dice it thats the facts.

I see burt plants dude. You over did it. Im sorry Ive seen way worse flowers then that... you may not have got as much but you def. got a worthy flowers by the looks of those pics.

Nothing wrong with what your saying I would not be happy if I messed up like that. But to say write it off without trying to make adjustments is a cop out in my book. Get your shit together and hammer out a good round. And try one plant you know really well and kill it. Or dont bother but you cant expect people to think your right with those burt up plants... I dont know your whole situation but I know these guys in here would help you with advice for free hands down giving is what they are and your going about it all wrong.

Good Luck man.
