As for pots, I tried a little of everything this year. What worked best was the durble nursery plastic pots. Over smart pots, soft plastic pots, wide plastic pots, tree starting pots and plastic bag pots. The plants were a tad taller than wide, but had the best growth. The smart pots were second, required more water, and had wider shorter growth. Since the hard nursery pots are a breeze to clean and reuse, next year that is all I am buying.

Gonna have to add way more organic matter for the pumpkin. Either way one dump truck is free(free meaning off the job) today so I'm gonna get going.

CEC 21.63
PH 6.4
OM 9.23
S 307
P 168
Ca 2710 / 62.65%
Mg 336 / 12.96
K 654 / 7.76
Na 131 / 2.63
H 9%
B .83
Fe 123
Mn 56
Cu 6.63
Zn 10.69
Al 247
Co .208
Mb .02
Se. 36
Si 24.5
EC 1.14

So srp, solubor, Zn sulfate, Co and Mb water in good and let that EC settle in where it should and retest. Not to bad for eye balling over 200 yards

Not bad at freakin all. Great job.

"Perfect Potting Soil" company soil tested at 50% organic matter from logan back in the day when I tested. That was the highest I had ever seen. For some reason Logan reports OM way higher however.

Using Logan will under represent Ca using the M3 process right? SO at 62% you are really down in the 50's right? Still quality mix, especially for an eye ball.

%5 other............ You bust a nut on one plant...........

Anyone using the AEA Nutralive/Holo Mic,Mac?

Still have some from last year, it smells exactly the same a year later.Mostly smells like fish, sea water, and some sort of spice.

Just got a new shipment of it, the Holo Mac, smells really bad. Smells like sulfur, and septic.

The shipping guy from AEA claimed they made some adjustments and it is suppose to smell horrible now. Was hoping someone else may have ordered some recently or happen to know if it was changed or if they just don't want to make/ship a new batch?

I am a little skeptical, for making adjustments the analysis printed on the label from last year to this year is exactly the same.

Thanks,
Mr^^

When you get that itch to run a few hundred of these a week an olive oil press becomes your friend. Fuck guessing

I can tell you, they will lie to you about this. They sent me the wrong product, and I have an organic inspection that week. They told me they would reship the product, and recommended I slapped the new label on the bottles I had to pass inspection........ The way he said it, it sounded like he does it all the time........ Change the recipe, same label. Rancid batch, same label.

I have also had AEA tell me the date on the label is manufacture date. Then the bottles came with a date 4 days in the future.......... I think they like to send out rancid bottles, and exploding bottles, and then just slaps new labels on it with a smile.

Integrity is lacking.

freezing and then thawing the tissue samples just prior to pressing may facilitate easier juice/sap extraction.
