That is actually what nova does. Pack it in dry ice, ship it, crush it with a multi ton press

But the olive oil press easy peasy

I'll just be over here flexing on these vise grips.

The amount of K they need in later flower is impressive so far. Trying to work up to it

If you are going to reuse the soil foliar is the way to go. Trying to keep up in the soil puts you out of whack for the next start.

You guys had any issues with the horiba meters?
Not calibrating or the unit being defective?
The potassium meter has been kinda flaky, others have been working fine.

I just had a nitrate meter shit out on me after two years use. Wouldn't respond to calibration and read 9900 for every sample. New one works fine but I was hoping they would last longer given the price.

Calmag is usually calnit right? Makes sense.

Orech, you replaced the sensor i assume? Maybe its dead. The manualsays how many samples it can do.

Seems to me there are two paradigms out there. Growth energy comes from:
a) n & k
b) ca & p

Obviously I favor the one that does not bring pest and disease. But it requires k to finish. Leave that part out and get fantastic quality but no yield

My next experiment is light weight, high Cec, high organic, easy draining, a variety of electromagnetic forces with ca:mg:k of 4:1:1...I gotta know

When I put the replacement sensor on those same plants read 1500-2000 NO3-. I've sampled several other grows that use salts and haven't gotten a reading under 6000ppm, many it's maxed out.

The sensor film gets discolored over time from the samples. I don't know if thats one of the signs that it's done, but I try to rinse the juice off immediately after recording.

I may need a touch of N but I finally got that ca and p covered. 18 inch plants in 7 gal pots

Are you cleaning the probe between calibration and sample testing? And then once more before placing the meter back into storage?

It's not a probe. It's a meter for testing plant sap.

I'm worried about my meters having a short life. By the time you collect them you start replacing on the other side lol. I bought a little tool box to put those and a few others in.

Thanks for sharing everyone! The ph and calcium has been rock solid for me, the K has been kinda flaky.

Yes, am keeping the sensor clean. Wash it off after each sample and before putting away.

Anything that the ol' "eye test" can tell anyone from these photographs? This is about 4 or 5 days after flipping to flowering.

This is a soil test of the bed from two grows ago (the last being 4 indica plants that appeared well fed, but I found some mold in the flowers, although I did push the foliar sprays too far into swelling)

:tiphat:

They look pretty good so not being critical but: calcium, either iron or mn and probably mn because of the test. And cobalt

And to much N is probably part of the problem. But looks good anyways

Edit 2nd pic looks lighter

Just got an 25 gallon atv sprayer and 50' of hose. What was the the best sprayer tip?

Looks like your P might be a bit short. Critical time for P and Ca, you will definitely need Mn!!! Really don't like this lab....

Or you could just take and buy some good chelates like Albion or Baicor and mix them together. Some Eklonia seaweed extracts such as Kelpak and some good Ascophyllum 16 from noamkelp, plus add it the Co, Mo etc... and really get it kicking....

You guys are waking up! I feel hope!

If you were going to make a gallon of DIY Accelerate how much of each product would you add?
