Anything that the ol' "eye test" can tell anyone from these photographs? This is about 4 or 5 days after flipping to flowering.

Tom, shoot for at least 75% Calcium with Logan.

What kind of numbers or ratios are you guys shooting for on Cobalt, Selenium and Molybdenum?

Lightweight, you can get moly to around 2ppm. It is risky to play around with higher molybdenum levels with plants you intend to eat. You could go grey more quickly. With canna I've pushed it a bit because I'm not currently eating it and I want to try and have them handle more nitrogen.

I haven't personally seen this with cobalt but a few people have told me it will induce hermaphroditism at ppm's higher than 2.

Thanks guys :)

I went ahead and purchased (of course, lol) the CalPhos from Oregons Organics (NFTG) and the 0-7-0-7 from AEA. But, from what I had on hand I applied the 0-2-2-2 from AEA along with solution grade Gypsum, 0-13-0 Bat Guano, Mn Sulfate, and some 2-13-2 Tainio salts... (I also threw in a bunch of other stuff like fulvic, humic, sugars, seacrop, photomag, seastim, aloe...). And I've been putting 175 ppm of a two part 3-1-4 via drip every 7 hours for 1 minute.

And speaking of drip, I'm tempted to purchase this bad boy for my 4x4 soil bed : https://www.etsy.com/listing/118432396/4x4-garden-grid-watering-system-o-garden?ref=hp_rv Because I'm not satisfied with the degree of distribution from my present drip ring arrangement (although I wonder if 'dry spots' aren't all too bad, as I've noticed that too little water is better than too much, IMO)

And finally - boy is that whole "flushing" concept out of touch with reality! I've never witnessed such gains before (granted I'm of limited experience, especially w/ soil). I've been pushing K (I'm using Terpinator, Rejuvinate, and Lobster Compost) and Ca / P heavily (I need to start noting my measures), and it's evidently effective.

P.S. I'm going to say it: I've been using Astera's 4-8-4 as topdress :D

Thanks for your input orechron! It is much appreciated! Would you consider 2 ppm high molybdenum levels. I mean too high to eat? I'm mostly just curious, but I do juice the leaves on occasion.

Is there a number you shoot for on selenium?

Is anyone familiar with application rates of Holo P? It's looking like I'll need bi weekly applications- will get soil test posted when I get a chance

Holo p for fertigation , added 1200lbs of fishbone per 110 yards of native but I'm still a bit short! AEA rep this morning said 3-5oz per 1000sq ft but he didn't know what he was talking about

I have high zinc - these 4 tests came from the second batch of amended native soil that had 8lbs per 55yds...The first 4 tests had zinc ranging from 70-100ppm @ 14lbs per 55yds

I know I need k as well, going to have to dissolve k sulfate and drench since all 4 gh are already planted

I'm hoping to get on the horn and order a tote of holo p, but I'm yet to find a solid answer on application rates and I won't go that route if I'm going to need a shit ton of it

So Holo P is 7% P from rock phosphate. At somewhere around 9,2 lbs per gallon you are looking at only 0.64 lbs P per gallon.

Unless your heart is set on being purely organic your best bet is gonna be watering in either PekAcid or MKP once a week or so...treat the P and K sort of like hydroponically

Or even liquid bone meal at least in veg before you really need the K. Give oct a shout, he may have totes of liquid bone

Watch your Mn from flip on...that Zn is going to block it. Foliar Mn at that point will make a big diff to your yield.

Right after harvest get another test and fix the soil then.

I just made up a 5% solution of Accelerate, this stuff sketches me out.
I feel like if I do spray this on my plants it's gonna burn the shit out of them.
So reassurance would be helpful b4 I spray
Ph 4.4
EC 3.73
Ppm 2530

I've went up to about 6% accelerate. Touch of funny growth after...killer response though.

Used RO water didn't check any strength or ppm

Thx Reppin, i was going to add some aminoCa to my mix but decided with numbers like that it wouldn't be good to add anything, didn't end up using the spray yet. I still feel like its a risk rolling the dice on my whole greenhouse

Any idea on the rates of the MKP?

I think im going to go that route as I am on a budget this round

You are far better off using PekAcid. 1 gram dissolved in 1 gal of water gives:
Pekacid....69 P and 44 K
MKP....60 P and 75K

I would start with about 2 grams per gallon once a week and work from there.

PekAcid would be an excellent foliar combined with humic, molasses and a little bit of Epsom

MKP has too much K for my taste...at least until buds have set

I fear the pH and its effect on microbes at the concentrations needed. Don't know for a fact cause I have never tried it myself. But I ain't giving that advise when I know the other two work.

Then again I have never gone above a 1% solution of Accelerate, so what do I know
