Yo Jack!
Couple questions regarding clones:

Any tips on getting all or most to root in the same time frame to transplant?

It looks like you keep the entire rockwool sheet intact and place as many as possible in a tray, creating a "mini bed" type of cloning situtation?

Do you wait until the last ones are well rooted then cut the sheet apart to transplant to beds?

Keep crushing it brotha, I've learned a whole lot from your threads, THANKS!

Why do you cut out the Fasilitor?
At week 6 is when we start lowering feed and start giving a lower dose of nutes then week 7 and 8 we flush same with a very very low ec this also starts the beds flush for the next round when we re plant. Why would we want to give a plant something when we are trying to flush everything that's the one thing I did not agree with on the Aptus feed chart.

We use 2" Rockwool sheets and at week 6 flower take cuttings from our moms to allow plenty of time for our cuttings to root for the beds..
I too would like to know the reasoning behind this one?

I would like to save the $ but the last weeks are the most important for weight and end product.

And so wen week 5 is up no more facilitator....day one of week 6 on none?

Yes give or take a couple days nothing is exact..

I have a bunch of updates coming on all the different testing we have going.. First up is the Gavita vs Adjusto wings test..We have two rows both of White Fire #43 both have been given a weeks veg in the beds The Gavita is set at 1000 w and so is the Adjusto wings the Adjusto wings are running of Solistek Matrix ballast with Hi Hortilux 1000 watt Bulbs. As reccomended by Gavita there are 3 x 1000 Gavita de over 2 -4x8 trays and as recomended by Adjusto win 4 Adjusto wings over 2-4x8 beds.. Bed on the Left Adjust o wings bed on the right Gavita 1000DE

nice side x side comparison jack.

looks like the the bat wings are smokin the GAV DEs

of course the batwing tables are pushing 4000W
another GAV instead of 3 per 2 tables would help and make the comparison
more even on a watt for watt basis

3 Gavita over 2 -4x8 is what Gavita reccomends.I have one more I can throw up if some one fron Gavita wants to chime in they better hurry beacuse this room is getting flipped soon..Nothing against Gavita I'm hoping they kick every other lights ass but don't reccomend one less light for every 2 tables..If 4 lights is what I need to be equal or better then the rest..

gavita's engineers ain't got their rooms dialed like yours man; 4 lights over them tables seems like a better idea for a side by side :)

killing it as always :joint:

Wow jack. Just fucking wow. Feeling the side by sides I've always loved the adjust O wings but lately been hearing a lot about gravitas and how they're super engineered to perform. I guess we'll just have to wait and see on final numbers.

I pm Wazzup to see what his thoughts where and what Gavita would like me to run I'm all about a fair side by side the one big plus for me was being able to run 30 light as opposed to 40.. But if its more I will run them...Jack

Looking forward to this round as I just got four 1000 DE's up and running. Hopefully they perform at a very high level although even if they prove to be similar the fact that the bulbs can go two years and the reflectors are replaceable for like $40 a pop I would have bought them regardless.

Ive been really interested in the gavita's for a year but haven't seen a good comparison like this yet.

if the gav tech's are recommending 3000w worth in a 4000w footprint
and it does what 4000w can do... that is SOMETHING!
but it sounded like a *too good to be true sales pitch*imo
and looks like it is.
I didn't think 3000w could do what 4000w can because of the fixture and bulb
not saying there still GAVs aren't worth buying
but a watt for watt comparison would seemed to be a better way to do it.
the gavita guys telling you to stack 3 of their 1ooow fixtures again 4000w for a comparison is kinda like
shooting themselves in the foot.

I cant see the pics from the last page. Are u using just the hood or the built on ballast version. Sorry can't see.

They sound amaizing. I know on my marine aquarium that double ended bulbs have been around for some time tried and true. Im also interested in seeing how things go as well.

I have to replace allot of my equipment and Im waiting to figure out what direction to go in. The Gav as Jack says deserve some looking into. I see that now after just a bit of research.
Thanks guys.
