Hey Bro I had the same problem.. I reuse my coco beds and I had a very serious fungus knat infestation! I was planning on using a fogger and azamax sprays. Before doing this I did a full strength OGbioWar Tea and within 2 days 99% of the knats were dead! Fungus knat bodies were scattered all over the plants fan leaves I coulnd believe it. I now do a weekly feeding with the tea and have not seen a single pest!

your going to love those gavitas JACK they have a different color and spectrum for sure. My room is absolutely crushing it right now with the 600s gavitas in beds. I also have some forum running in my room but stoked to see your results.

Yeah I took jacks advice and got the biowarfare in place of great white. Didn't make a tea just used per their instructions in the mix and all kind of bug carcasses around the infected pots. Can't wait to make the tea to see the results.
So it even works great just using 1 tbsp per gallon!

Awesome all around, how long have you had that DE going anddo you plan to do any tests on par etcc vs regular hps?
Ive had the Gavita's going for only a few days but so far eally impressed like really impressed.. Im always testing new lights, Bulbs, Ballast etc...
hey jack i noticed fungus knats within a day of mixing beds. Do you think a full strength feed of og bio tea will knock em out, as well as be benificial as an initial bio innoculant? also i saw that phillips has there own line of lights/ballasts that just came out to compliment there bulbs which are the ones in gavitas, they have a funkyreflector on them that is small but they say is the most efficient. i saw them at a garden trade show and they cost the same as gavitas.
Ya im suppose to be getting the Philips line this week to test them against the Gavitas and other lights...OGBIOWAR tea brewed once a week and you will not have fungus knats or root aphids been telling every one this for a while now its good stuff we swear by it...
cant wait to see what you do with the cooks jack!!.....love watching these comparison grows of how strains grow differently in different rooms or nutes
Got some Animal cookies getting ready to be thrown in the mom room to get them big enough to do some big runs for now it will be the Forum cut...Big ups Homie!!!
Dont stop what you doing Jack! Brilliant grows man.

Peace

You cant go wrong with Adjusto wings if you have the ac to handle them but if I was building a new room I would deffiently look hard at Gavitas...:tiphat:

wait its the same as caps bennies? i already have the rootpack, is this the one you guys are using? at what dosage are yall using?
We use Root, Nute and Foliar I know the Nute should be used early as possible and does better mixed into soil or coco but I have had great sucess using it in tea so I have always used all 3 but I would use root and foliar in my tea the names dont really mean root is for roots and foliar is for foliar I use all 3 for my roots and foliar..At 1 Table spoon per gallon of tea the first tea brew I do not dillute I mix at 100 gallon batch then after that start the dillution at 3 to 5 big cups of tea for every 10 gallons of RO you can't over due it so the stronger the better.. I like to switch my brew one brew Mollasses the next Sweet Raw alternating all the way through flush from veg until week 3 of flower when we water with tea we water the entire plant and the coco so it acts as a foliar and a soil drench..Hope this helps explain better Jack...

Big globs of dripping resin is usually sugar excrudes from high brix levels. Which is a good thing.

or whitefly poop (honeydew)

found that one out after smoking some killer looking nug from a friend only to realize I was smoking bug crap

thx for the great info jack just need few clarifications if u dont mind :

* so for the first week your tea brew dosage is 1 tea spoon per gallon of each root, nute and foliar instead of 1 table spoon of each probably because its not diluted
so what is the ewc and alfalfa meal dosage for the first time tea ?

* when u do diluted tea your dosage is 1 tea spoon per gallon or 1 table spoon per gallon ?

* when u add the alfalfa meal u use it only during veg or even first 3 weeks of flower ?

* do u screen the powder off of the rez ?

* how do u water the tea in the beds i tried to water by hand but when the plants grow its getting really uncomfortable do u maybe use gravity feed or something ?

thx again for the great info .:thank you:

Here is my cheat sheet I made up for myself.

I add the facilitator first. Then Cal/Mag to 200ppm. I DONOT add Cal/Mag on the weeks I use Mass Boost

Sorry bro for the mix up I fixed it should of put a Table spoonper gallon not tea spoon, As fa as Alfalfa we use it up until week 4-5 we use a stocking and sepending on how much tea we brew but a couple big hand fulls does the job same with earth worm castings. We use a fish tank net a large one to skim and thing floating off the top, We hand water every thing with a pump no gravity either a wand or just an open ended hose and control flow with a shut off valve..
that wifi.......

is KICKIN IT!!!!!
 She's a beast...
