She can't help it if her books were best sellers that people wanted to buy. The majority of the Obama's wealth has come from books and speaking fees. She gets $250,000 for speaking fees and Obama gets $400,000-500,000. That adds up. Then the Netflix deal worth close to $50 million. They give about 15% of their income to charity.
I thought capitalism was centered on the pursuit of personal wealth.

One thing is for sure, Harris is damn lucky to have Obama and Michelle on her side and ready and willing to do whatever it takes to get her elected. They're one hell of a power couple. People answer the phone and open their wallets when Obama calls. Once he gave the nod the floodgates opened and it started raining money on the Harris campaign. People are climbing over each other to get involved.

They keep telling trump to talk about policy. The problem is that trump doesn't know anything about policy. He never has. They can tell him what to say but he can't remember the details. His mind doesn't work that way. All his life he's been admired by many. That's his metric of success. Nothing else matters to him.
Every policy position he takes comes from someone else because he doesn't bother to learn. He's in it for the glitz and glam. He's not in it to do what's best for the country. The problem the Republicans have is that he took over the party and now they can't control him because he doesn't care about the Republican party. He's not a Republican. He's an opportunist.
trump proves how shallow he is by saying he's better looking than Kamala Harris. He can't stand that he's the old man and this middle aged, vibrant woman full of energy is drawing bigger crowds than he is.
People keep saying Harris has to do this or that. She doesn't have to do a damn thing except keep drawing larger crowds than trump and let him melt down in public.
The people that are going to vote for him are going to vote for him no matter what. The voters that matter are the undecided and the more they see trump looking pathetic the more they decide to vote for Harris.
I don't think trumps handlers will be able to stop the downward spiral.
