A very honest review of the scarier phenos of Zamaldelica! Your hash / buds look amazing (as did pics in the past) so I am not surprised you're having the same ZOMG, intensity in ten cities experience as so many others in this thread have. I've crossed a few things to Zamaldelica and all are great fun. You can expect that I-dont-know-if-I-wanna-be-here-anymore rush to calm down a little bit, but it never completely vanishes. :D

Sort of like hiding under the bed or in the closet for an hour or 3 waiting to come down?? Intense! maybe I will save this stuff for some shenanigans on unknowing old friends! It'll be a hell of a trip!

Zamaldelica

Hi all you Ace freaks I am growing a fem Zamaldelica from 2015, it couldn't be more different from the previous Zam I grew from the release the year before.
Anyone had this pheno it stinks to high heaven of death and destruction and impending insanity and thats just from the smell ha ha
Its scaring the shit out of me, its on week 4 of flower and already needs support.

Can anyone tell me what the high is like as its nothing like I have seen before.

Yep Thai all the way! Though I've had just as much fun with the zamal and Malawi phenos...

Can anyone tell me what the high is like as its nothing like I have seen before.

I too have seen awesome effects with various phenos of Zamaldelica, though each plant leaned a different way - Thai / Malawi / Zamal which tends to alter the 11 out of 10, ZOMG effect toward what youd expect from that particular line. Depending on pheno, its less paranoid and a bit more shroomy. Thai phenos are usually more electric and smell more chemical-ish. Malawi phenos generally more deeply moving, gut tightening, penetrating. Zamal phenos tend to be lightly hallucinogenic, a little warmer and also smell the best - mango carrots.

Tang, expect the Zamaldelica to be more aggressive than you'll want to smoke every day - or at least I have yet to meet anyone that can handle it that often. Its very... shroomy, borderline uncomfortable but somehow enjoyable. Dubi's quote of "terror-iffic" is pretty accurate. I've described it as Dumbo's pink elephants on parade scene (link).

Put it this way, I used to look for the strongest indica, the most electric sativa, the most potent OG, the beyond ultimate hybrid, etc. - Zamaldelica was the plant that changed all that. Here's what I said about the scarier phenos:

I just tried the dried "thai" pheno last night. I'm sorry folks, no final pics of her, my friend cut her down before I could get over there. Anyhow, all I can say is HOLY S***. If you are looking for the terror ridden, thai clarity that Dubi has spoke about, you're looking for the tall spindly thai-african looking phenos.

Now granted, I haven't smoked in 2 days before trying this, so the tolerance dropped a little, but I was 11 out of 10 sativa high last night, for nearly 6 hours.

First two hours were INTENSE, scary to the point anyone who wasn't a seasoned smoker would not want to be high anymore. I was definitely at the point of "terror-iffic." If I let anyone else try this, there would definitely be a disclaimer moment before allowing them to proceed. Your head buzzes, but with extreme clarity. Your body feels like its nerves are electric and your skin is somehow an insulator with bones as a wire frame.

AP-ShootingTheCurl-2-1.jpg

The "energy" comes in waves of terrifying, I felt like I was surfing inside of a large tube wave - "shooting the curl" or something. It's really up and positive though, so you think you can try and maintain conversation. As my friends and I were talking, I was at least a sentence behind the conversation while I imagined the words visually - almost hallucinatory?

After the scary ended about 2-3 hours after smoking, it settled into a super talky, up, clear and stupid thai high which lasted in a petering off fashion till I went to sleep.

My african pheno is almost indica compared to the thai pheno, and I thought that was up by comparison. Dubi, you have outdone yourself with this cross.

The malawi leaning phenos are more gut tightening and paralysing and less energetic, but you get the idea. I should also mention that edibles made with Zamaldelica (and resulting Zamaldelica crosses) are STUPID. You're just so damn high it's nearly unbearable, but fun.

I agree Terpene I chew the cob not smoke it and the last pheno I grew is like taking half a microdot of acid when its chewed and swallowed, the high lasts for 8 hrs of INTENSE rides on waves and the effects can still be felt 12 hours later. But this new one is then most likely the Malawi pheno. Should be very interesting indeed once it is fermented.
I actually like the intense type highs but as you say not every day. The next day after chewing this stuff is like I have come down from an acid trip. I just want something gentle and soothing.
Crazy powerful stuff I take my hat off to Dubi and Ace they sure know their stuff.

Hi my friend I ferment/cure the buds in the cobs, but the buds/cobs are at their best from 3 months to 9 months aging.
Theres nothing friendly or mild about the effects if your not into strong effects you probably wont like it. Its only for people who like extreme effects, uncontrolled events precipitate. You def will not be in control of events. These are what the buds look like after a couple of different cure methods. Use with caution, or not depending on your taste in reality.

Thats crazy! Uncontrolled events can be a good and a bad thing! This one is at 55 days but seems like it is probably over the half way point but time will tell....

I am having a evil little laugh thinking of my high tolerance friends getting fried on this. I would advise them it is strong and to take it easy though, I am not that evil. hehe

You are probably right. I think we have all be in that position before at some point when you get the fear and you can't help but think someone put something in that....unless its your own ya know. Then its like wtf am I gonna do until this shit wears off? Definitely not an everyday sort of strain....more of a bust it out for special occasions and then only with certain folks.

Lost my zamaldelica over the holidays while I got stuck out of town longer than I expected and she dried out. It was the closest to the lights so I'm guessing that's why it dried out the worst. Hopefully 7 weeks was long enough to make some butter.

My Zamaldelica is at 59 days on 11/13's today! Looking nice and the pistachio smell has turned to a sweet carroty goodness! I was looking through the Golden Tiger thread and mine looks mostly GT dominate. I will probably let this cut go and pop some more. I have 2 packs of GT and 10 Zamaldelica left. Nice growth considering my shitty soil skills and can't wait to give it a test puff!
