Hi
Those are my two Zamaldelica. sprouted the 15th of July

I didn't have room for them and was quite busy, so most of care that I've given them was to restrict them and sometimes forgetting watering them. Turns out that's just what it took. I expected to fight a battle against bushes wanting to grow like crazy and I end up with two compact
sativas not even that late in flowering. Wether I became a master at taming tropical NLD plants during my sleep or just there's some pretty good breeding job behind that
A third one was a male which I didn't use cause I didn't really like the way it looked at me :D and he was a heavy feeder, always yellowing from the start and I had no time for a Diva, anyway never was supposed to be a seed run

This one smells like carrot peels freshly dropped on a pile of rotten wood

This one smells like rose water flavoured carrot juice
I took cuttings but only the humic/rotten wood one would clone well,at least with my set-up which resumed to a few glasses of water under the shade of bigger plants.
I'll maybe try to reveg the rose-karott if the smell stays the same

I do my soil mixes without measuring, roughly that would be 30% coco coir, 30% old compost mixed with peat moss,20% fresh compost, the rest would be a handfull of good soil from a nettle field next to my place, rock dust, spirulina, kelp meal and a bit of yack and camel manure just for the fun of it (when I see a small circus I always go ask the boss if I can pick some trash from the animals and they are usually happy with that, never been locked in the tiger cage yet :D ). No manure in the final pot mix but indonesian bat guano
When fig and grape season I discard fallen fruits on top of the soil.
They stayed more than one month in the small pots I started them in,then maybe 1,5 liters pots during sretching,Once they stopped stretching I transplanted them in those final pots which are,I don't know, maybe 5 or 6 liters.
Cheers

haha, that's awesome. Can't beat some good circus turds! I'm on my second run of Z, but first for outdoor. First was a micro indoor and I was so impressed with how much they can handle. I am totally in love with this strain. Cool to see smaller pots as I'd like to do a large pot but have some smaller pots stealthy hidden here and there, so seeing this was great. Thanks B

I harvested my big Zam yesterday, she matured very quickly in the end. Bad weather during the first half of october over here, approx 180mm of rain. Got few rotten buds so i decided it was time to cut her down. Loss should be very minimal, <2%, so no big deal. Outstanding plant overall and good botrytis resistance. I will try to share some photos soon. The outdoor clone is still going on, harvest planned in 2-3days. Probably the most beautifull outdoor plant i ever grow, insane resin production, huge flowers (unbeleavable for a 100% sativa). Sampled early flower from a branch broken by a storm... aie caramba! Potent, very potent with my Volcano. The ride can be disorienting in the first 20minutes, then a clear high settle down. Loved the body high in the end, very good vibe. I'll try to make a proper report after a good 2 month cure (and maybe corn cob cure).

The indoor clones started their 4th week of 11,5/12,5. I made a bushy one wich stayed very low with strong horizontal branching, and a one bud ~25cm tall. This strain can be grown indoor from clone without any problems... you can even mix it with 60-70days hybrids and have an uniform canopy!

Beautiful big Zamaldelica's there. They thrive when grown in large containers. One tip I do have is .Because they have so many budding sites .!!! Is trim it up a bit at the bottom, not to much.. But then take all the buding sites off the bottom 1/3 of the plant. Well at least all the sites that you don't think will get , good full strength light!! Works great with all the Thai leaning phenos.the buds will grow a lot larger and dense. You won't be left with a lot of small immature stuff.

Appreciate the advice Holeshot. I've got some Thai leaning seedlings on the go now so I will definitely keep that in mind.

I've been smoking some Z, cured for around 7 months now. It's definitely my favourite smoke. Really clear, ultra positive. I always find I feel amazing the next day, like I've had a astral car wash. I cannot wait to see how the Orient Express/ Zamaldelica cross I made comes out. Been my fav strains of late.

I will relay this advice to my buddy. This is a clone from my Zamaldelica Winter Run plant. We've just kept cloning it and it seems to get bigger with each clone generation!
Do clones still retain their exact genetics when we keep taking clones of clones? Because we have clones of this plant which is makes it a clone of a clone of a clone. Haha These new clones have just been transplanted to soil a few weeks ago and updates on the 3x clones when they start moving along.

Yes Clones maintain the exact same chromosomes with every new clone. Plants do however mature with age up to a certain point which I would guess is longer with sativas than with indicas.
