Have tested my two ZD now and they are both pretty nice smoke,they might be my favorite smoke from this season actually, not the strongest high but clearly the most inspirational one, great for creative activities or enjoying nature.
Both have a very clear and uplifting 1h30 high which fades into a calm yet alert state, a bit like the way you would feel one after some intense sport activity minus the physical soreness.
The flowery carrot smell, while still discernible,has faded a little but a freshly ground grey pepper smell took over.
My impression, although I can't tell for sure from just two plants, is that the line, while still showing diversity in phenotypes is now quite stabilized chemotype wise towards a more manageable high.
I gotta admit I was hoping from one of those clearly zamal oriented hybrids from the first cross I've see members growing on this thread but that was a lazy move from me, if I wanted Z I could have bought some breeders Bourbon's mangue Karotte but didn't want to go through the hassle of a hermie hunt. To me a perfect zamal hybrid should be high on the psychoactive zamal side with just a little something to cut the typical coldness of the Z high but nevermind, still a pretty energetic,not offensive smell,sativa cross, and as I wrote before,already my favourite from this year.
To bad I don't have enough to do year round

How long have they cured? I find these Ace Sativa's are no where near their peak until a few months of curing.

That will be one month for Christmas. I dried them really slowly, smokable since a few days only so the real curing has just started I have no doubt they will get better and better. I'm not saying it's bad, And thinking about it maybe the electric Z high is hard to maintain in a hybrid line, turning easily in some more "feel good" weed and less "ready for war", at least that's what happened with QM the only other successful zamal hybrid I know

Exactly! I didn't know how to say it, well cured buds give a more complete high. I used to say more complex but that's not as accurate.

Hi everyone ! This is one my 3 zamaldelica phenotypes. This one seems to be the more zamal influenced. It's a semi-auto pheno that started to push pistils after few weeks of vegetation. So i quickly took a clone and got her in the flowering room.

She was left without much attention and care. Almost no feeding at all, just plain water. I don't know how many weeks has past since then, but that plant seems damn close to harvest.



Do you guys wait for amber trichromes ?

The one I harvested at 77 days looks like those pics. Its hella strong and very intense with a 2 week cure.

Do you use dried corn husks or fresh?
How about banana leaf?
Where do you keep the husks once packed with goodness?
How long do you keep them in the husks?

I want to cob cure atleast a few nugs of this just to see whats up....

Looks like the cuttings will make it they perked back up quickly like 1/2 a day and are looking normal after a few days. May hit that one with c99 dude or POTH.

The web site says 11-14 weeks, in my experience the plants are closer to finished somewhere between 13-16 weeks. My general rule of thumb with all Ace lines is wait for all the white hairs on the plant to die back, then cut it down. The effects will be stronger and more complete.

After reading up on zamaldelica it was that last macro of yours on ace's site that really got me to buy it. It just had this look about it like it would be stunningly beautiful to consume but if you had even the slightest bit too much it would lead to all kinds of issues that make you want to lock yourself in a closet with a bottle of water and a blanket until it all wears off.


If she wasn't like that don't ruin it for me with reality

If you start Zamaldelica's flowering period at 11/13 light/darkness they'll finish at 11-14 weeks. Most plants will finish at 11 weeks. Of course you can start them at 12/12 and after the stretch you'll give 11/13 for a little more yield, but you won't yield much more. I never weigh my harvest so to tell you the truth I can't give you an exact answer, but the buds look as fat as you'd grow 'em on 12/12.
If this is your first Ace strain: trust me you can't go wrong with them.

4 years later, Zamaldelica is STILL the strongest thing I've ever smoked. (I can't believe this thread is 4 years old!)

Zamaldelicas effect ranges based on the pheno - I still haven't gotten the "happy, clear, creative" one.... All of my plants have been varying degrees of downright scary-high / terror-iffic where you keep telling yourself "this will pass, breathe, calm down".

I know that calling Zamaldelica "touching the ceiling of I don't want to be here anymore" / terrifying / cold / borderline hallucinogenic / scary doesn't sound the best for Ace Seeds (or maybe its exactly what Dubi is going for ), but you and anyone you plan on subjecting to Zamaldelica should have a minor disclaimer moment before hitting the bong - especially the tall, spindly phenos!

One thing is for sure - after you do try it, you'll understand what I mean when I say smoking it is a planned event and not something you do casually on week nights.

Now that I've said all that, here's 4 Zamaldelica x Ethiopian seeds that just hit dirt.

I agree with everything except being able to use Zamaldelica casually on the week nights, except it does lead to one hell of a trip!

They look different. I got some Malawi x Ethiopian I am hoping for something along the lines of Golden Tiger.

My cousin, an og smoker from way back, is on the way over tomorrow for lunch. I am considering testing the Zamaldelica trip out on him in a public setting without sayin shit just to get him! Do you guys that get Zamaldelica to be trippy, use UV-B or are you growing outdoors? How consistent is the trippy pheno? I read Golden Tiger was supposed to be trippy, but it wasn't at all.

have 4 packs standard and 4 packs fem in the freezer, please tell me they will turn out like these grows and I'm sitting on fire. cant grow right now but have gotten 80-90%strike rate from a few seeds, seeds are 4-5years old been kept in the freezer. has anyone else frozen seeds? and is this a few bags of gold I've got hiding away?

I have read that frozen seeds is the way to go for long term storage.
