Zamaldelica creeper pheno. Feminized seeds purchased 09/15 via Herbies - no breeder pack! Initial vertical growth then horizontal - possibly keeled over due to heat stress. No training or topping at all. Relatively slow initial growth in veg. - didn't want to drink water. Thinner leaves with exaggerated serrations. Some red petioles. Fan leaves up to 11 leaflets. Initial growth columnar with only lower node side branches branching out. Medium overall branching with a dense canopy as it matures. Medium inter-node spacing. Sweet carrot smell from early veg (stem rub). Long pistils develop from calyxes (pre-flower). Flower onset delayed approx. 2 weeks compared to modern hybrids. Approx. 2 weeks into flower just throwing pistils, few calyxes and little to no crystal. More vigorous growth in flower.

Wild SpaceBros! :)

The outstanding lateral branching and sweet carrots smell of your Zamaldelica comes without any doubt from the Zamal genetics. Would love to see a clone of her growing outdoors in soil

Can't wait for the updates in flowering. Thanks for posting!

Well I bougth 2 packs of Zamaldelica scarypheno, and try to grow in 42• lattitude on green house. 6 weeks of growing, 2 of flowering and I got 11 males!!! The others don't show sex but they are apparently females. The question is how to choose the best male??? I'm looking for the most Thai dominant.

Gracias y saludos desde Argentina!

not real geroi

some growers laught at this, but grown from seed, in accidic soil, Ive had always many males and few females. i think ph does play role in that..well go with males to flower and choose one with most trichomes , best smell and so on , or ? the best thai phenos have crazy long nodes

There are three directions the Zamaldelica M/F cross can lean, Malawi, Thai and Zamal.

Malawi will have the fattest leaves, and the stems / buds will have a earthy, somewhat oily, rotten wood smell. The Malawi influence tends to make the high more deeply moving, dense, diaphragm tightening and physically intense.

Zamal influenced phenos will have more traditionally "african" looking leaves (thinner than malawi, star shaped, etc) and the stems / buds will generally have a more mango-carrot smell. Zamal influence makes things trippy - its clearer than the Malawi side though not quite as crisp as the thai.

Thai influenced phenos will be tall, spindly plants with tons of distance between nodes. The leaves will be pencil thin and the stems / buds will be more bitter / astringent smelling in my experience. Thai phenos make for a very clear, very electric experience.

Rubbing the stems and smelling your fingers or rubbing frost / buds are the only real ways to determine how much of each parent is in each plant.

If it were me, I would look for the most mango-carrot phenos and smack them together as I personally like the Zamal side the most. Zamal-Thai has been a bit more on the touching-the-ceiling, terroriffic / scared side for my liking. These phenos generally smell like a mix of mango-carrot and some sort of chemical cleaner. The dead giveaway is the height / space between nodes. They'll be the plants that have to be staked. Malawi influenced phenos are also solid, but stronger and somewhat narcotic - despite abundant energy. Don't discount the Malawi side though, everything malawi touches is excellent in my experience.

Welcome merkin Donor :)

Thanks for sharing your beautiful indoor Zamaldelicas.
Are you growing the regular or the feminized version ?

Let us know if you have any doubt during their development.

Best wishes!
Hi Dubi,
These are from feminized seeds, growing under homemade LED fixtures. I wish that I could put them outside because I know they'd be magnificent in size and symmetry! The larger of the two currently stands about 7' tall (in her pot) with about 2' bent over.

Hi notreal
I water them with 7 PH. And also the weather here isnt helping (cold, windy and rainy).

Hi Terpene (I love your work!!)
I did what you said (looked at the leaves and internodes) and I found this in males:

- Two Malawi: dark green, indica-type leaves. Short flowering.

-Two thai: light green, pencil thin leaves. Long internodes. Long flowering.

-three zamal: light green, pointy (shark-like) leaves. Long flowering.

-the rest is a mix of zamal and malawi: fat, pointy leaves. Darker than zamal's and lighter than Malawi's.

Thanks for the help. I'll be posting photos soon.

PS: females are more difficult to recognize.

Glad I could be of some help Truchoxki.

Heres Zamaldelica x [(Purple Thunk x White Widow) x Tom Hill Haze] at 5 weeks, just starting to put on frost. Stems and frost have a purple, mango-carrot smell when rubbed - very weird.

Popping 1 of these but looks like it might not make it out of the rooter as it was in there a bit too far. I might pop another set in paper towels tomorrow.

Got the Zamaldelica, Malawi and OT Purple Haze getting ready to go all in!

Smoked those cross between Zamaldelica and Sour Bubble and a progeny keeps
those fear inducing type of stone.. Sour Bubble didnt change much excepts it give
some body couchlock under those terror thoughts that are Zamaldelica producing..
