hello cheton, very nice looking plants, im sorry you had no luck with your 5 seeds, could you tell us if your seeds were from the new generation or the original release please ? 5 seeds is a bit low number of seeds to begin with i think and i read the original Zamaldelica release plants dont like to be rootbound at all, your plants looks like to be in 10 liters pots, am i right ? i have read only good report about the malawi dont be afraid to try it i think. :)

This is the photo of zamaldelica 5 pck regular seeds.I think it was the old generation, but I'm not sure.I was growing them 8 months ago(first time) with 10 other plants. They were fine, except the Chemistry(male).

G'Day Dubi,

That 'scarydelica' generation sounds awesome as does the latest generation. A breeders pack sounds fantastic and I hope you keep these breeders packs going. I've got Kali Mist flowering at the moment (2nd run at it) and have Panama and Tikal beans ready to pop but those Zamal/Thai dominant plants could change my plans.

In the past, most herb would give me a scary effect with a digging up in my conscience of any thing I'd done wrong or out of line with my values. I found it very valuable and spiritually therapeutic (a psychedelic therapy). Such effects are greatly diminished now as I have a tolerance from regular medical use. I'm hoping some of the more psychedelic offerings from ACE might be my ticket.

I will email you as I can't do PM's yet.

Cheers,
Boss Cocky
If you got the "Scary" pheno, I can assure you you'll have thoughts alright, be prepared. I didn't think any weed could make me trip nowadays. This did. It's as good as the so called Tom Hill acid pheno. It's best to let it go long. picked early, it's paranoia big time.

Greetings all. Very nice looking ZD's friends, hope they smoke as good as mine does. Definitely glad I decided to go ahead and do some Zamals. It is a very beautiful plant. Smells of strong carrots and mango with a heavy hazy background to her at the same time. It truly is a gorgeous plant. Effects such as my 24 week Oldtimer's Haze that has the trippy effect (not quite as trippy) but very uplifting, happy and joyful also. Out of all of the Ace strains and Sativas I have done this would be my second favorite next to the OTH. I will take my Zamal clones any day because they only take 11 weeks with 11/13. That's 13 weeks earlier then the OTH so you can see my point .

Insane pops to Dubi and the crew for this beautiful line. Can't wait to run some of the trippier Zamals for side by side testing. :thank you:

Hi Cheton,

I'm very sorry to hear it. What is the packing date of your Zamaldelica standard pack ?

The first original Zamaldelica release was a straight Zamal cross, and unavoidably had a small rate of hermie plants.

I tried to avoid this problem in latest Zamaldelica releases, and now rarely the line shows hermie tendencies, especially the latest Zamaldelica feminized version is the most firm of all the Zamaldelica releases.

Please, send me a pm or email with your details and we will replace the seeds that had hermie problems.

Welcome not real geroi,

If your Zamaldelica was potent with just 20 days of flowering, wait until it is fully ripe and test her after a good curing ;) You will be amazed!

Thanks for the feedback Dr King.
After enjoying so much Oldtimer's Haze i knew you would love Zamaldelica too ;)

IMHO, i prefer Zamaldelica over 'pure' Oldtimer's Haze .... maybe a good Haze hybrid like Panama Haze, Haze x Kali China, or Purple Haze Malawi is comparable in quality to Zamaldelica, it just depends on your personal preferences towards taste and effects.

As you have experienced, Zamaldelica is much easier to work with, the flowering time is much more moderate than haze, and has better adaptability to indoor growing.

It also has a different terpene profile, the best Zamaldelicas are sweeter (fruity, mango, sweet carrots juice), while Haze hybrids are more spicy and incensey.

Effects are also different, Oldtimer's Haze and its hybrids have overall a more introspective effect (with the exception of Purple Haze Malawi which is very euphoric and open),
while Zamaldelica has a more uplifting, active, positive, social well focused effect.

You really did justice to both strains  Wish you enjoy them for a long time :)

Zamaldelica

Hey all ..! This is a close up of my Unknown Ace 1 . Which I'm saying is Zamaldelica .I had a few fan issues , and very high humidity . Found a little mould in parts. So a bud had to come off . He he he . Well I tired a little that had been drying for 2 weeks. She is about at week 8. Anyway I tried a little bit . It is very early, it was like I had just had a couple of Red Bulls or strong coffee . Very buzzed , but clear. Can't wait to cure some when ripe.

Everyone has their own tastes, opinion and tried phenotypes, but for me none of the tried Zamaldelicas has been euphoric. Physically and mentally stimulating - yes, but only slightly uplifting in the best case, edgy and dark in the worst. I have several strains in my stash that make me happier and more comfortable than Zamaldelica, among which Original Haze and Panama are the sativas that stand out.
On the other hand, a Thaish Zamaldelica is currently my preferred smoke during the day - I find its clear, focused and motivating effect very good for productivity, while Haze and Panama have this enjoy-the-sunshine-and-relax attitude, which is great, but not motivating for (unpleasant) work.
To me, Haze and Zamaldelica are like apples and oranges, each has its own attractiveness and situations to use, none is 'better' than the other. Zamaldelica wins by a wide margin when it comes to yield and flowering length, yet I'd still prefer to have 1 jarred kilo of Haze for the following years than 1 kilo of Zamaldelica - I enjoy smoking Haze in all situations while Zamaldelica is too stimulating for late evenings, hehe.
Just another point of view ;)

Hey Yoss. She has a nice fresh carrot and fruit smell , not overly strong. got my heart pumping , that's for sure. Very visual effects , social , happy at peace. That's after the first 20 mins of blast of energy. I imagine to will be a lot stronger with a few more weeks and a good cure.

Here's a zamaldelica x (purple white widow x tom hill haze) in veg. It smells exactly like mom and dad, purple candy carrots with a mangoish finish - a very weird mix.

You are right yoss, it's just a matter of personal preferences.
They are just different strains with different aromas, effect and overall vibe.

I have been following with great interest your outdoor thread of this season,
congrats on the great results and successful harvest ;)
Hope you enjoy them, have a great autum/winter time!

Thank you, dubi! :tiphat:
I'm very pleased with the results and I'm happy that I decided to try my chance with Zamaldelica again this year. The pack of 10 (actually 12) regular seeds I bought for 30 euro in 2013 is perhaps the most worthy pack of seeds I have ever bought, and I still have 4 seeds left :) 8 seeds - 7 potent females, no hermies, vigorous strong plants, good flowering, no problems with mold... I know I can rely on the 4 seeds left.
This year's plant yielded 630 grams of the colas only. And the effect is very similar to the early samples of the Thai plant that is still flowering. I'll see what a good cure will do to them both, but so far the Zamaldelica is of the same high quality as the pure Thai, but with much shorter and more solid flowering. It's a winner.
