Hello would be daddy of a daughter!
Here's my other Jamaldelica sitting in the ground not showing any signs of flowering as of yesterday... judging by the leaves (thin, small and lime green) and octopus branching(what a branching!) is it Jamal leaning?

Me and a friend have had 2 semi-autoflowering plants out of 7 females from the initial standard Zamaldelica release. More pronounced in container(pot), but still shows outdoors, in the limitless ground, as strong preflowering and 1-2 weeks earlier start of flowering.
What these 2 semo-autoflowering plants also have in common is: compact, branchy structure, strong stems, small leaves on long leave-stems, branches run almost horizontally during veg, then curve upwards at start of flowering. I hope that the Zamal high goes together with these Zamal traits and the 2nd auto-flowering one that I'm growing now has the high of the first one that my friend grew in 2013. Very impressing truely lyzergic effect.
Got a nice looking Zamaldelica going atm. It was a fem bean. Any reports from anyone smelling of straight strong spice and wood undertones in a pheno? She is 6 weeks into flowering. I thought my 24 week OTH smelled like spice. This Zamal isn't even finished and smells heavy. Can't wait for her to finish.
Hi Dr King,
Which Zamaldelica fem release are you growing ? The new one released this year or from previous years ?
The older versions had more spicy woody aromas, i bred the new one towards more refined mango/mandarine/floral aromas.
Zamal/Meao thai cross ACE did have some years back 2009? Anyway it was about as trippy as one could get. The problem was it was very spindly and long flowering. So I think the Malawi was to put bigger yielding plant, yet still be able to get the killer pheno. I notice a lot of Zamal grows, yet the 2013 Zamaldelica was better than straight Zamal anyday.Guys, you are so easy to see the conspiracy, you don't even bother to read the history.
As you can read in this thread (I think), Ace have grown Zamal from the original Gypsy Nirvana's seeds and didn't keep any plants or breed for seeds because these Zamals were not really worth it. The line needs a lot of seeds and working to bring to a good condition.
Then Gerrit found one great plant (or rather 2) among the GN Zamal seeds he tried. A single cut that also has undesired characteristics (auto-flowering, hermie) but is otherwise great (compactness, short flowering time, potency, trippy high).
You cannot make a strain out of a single clone. No pure Zamal line possible.
You can cross it to something and then backcross, but this way you'll be constantly hitting the auto-flowering and hermi traits. So, the path of cubing the Gerrit cut to get almost-pure Zamal line is not a wise one - it would need lots of selection and careful testing of offspring on every generation.
If you haven't noticed, Ace and Cannabiogen are breeding over many generations strains started out as hybrids. This way they get the hybrid bonus for the first generations and then stabilization for the good traits compensates for the loss of hybrid vigour in the following generations. But all generations are good (even the first), and they don't have to work a line for several years before it becomes worthy. Maybe you want too much of them if you want stabilized pure sativa lines - this is so much work they might not even have the capacity to do it for more than 1 line.
As to why Golden Tiger was selected for Zamaldelica instead of Meao Thai - both hybrids were tried and it seems Ace found the GT hybrid (or only some of its results) worthier, effect- and plant-wise. You cannot blame Ace for their personal tastes. Everyone has his own preferences (I personally would like to see a Zamal x Haze offering) but it's Ace that are putting efforts into what they want, so they have the right to make of Zamaldelica whatever they wish.
Thcvhunter, if you want a good pure Zamal, why not try to breed one by yourself and tell us how easy it was? Original seeds from La Reunion are still popping up in the forums. You sound like it's easy, you only need to breed it, right?
I had a great weekend with family and friends in a great Blues bar. I had one large joint of Zamaldelica and one of my Crazy horse. I give them to the band and 3 chicks that wanted to get high. They were a few minutes late from their break and were absolutely DESTROYED when they came back in. I did cross both of my Hybrids with the Zamaldelica this past season. I will grow out the F1's this year. If Saturday night is any indication of things to come. I'm either on something or on to something! Thanks Dubi for the outstanding genetics. Peace
what should i buy if im looking for the most lysergic effects?
Hi greenghost420,
If you are mainly looking for the most trippy and lysergic Zamaldelica phenos, then please feel free to pm me or email me, i have plenty of seeds from the older more Zamal/Thai influenced phenos, they are really very trippy and 'scary', they also have a very strong initial energetic rush, producing acceleration of mind process and thoughts, like taking too much coffee or other stimulators.
