okay, zam.
zam has become my no.1.......this pheno you see reeks of a balanced mix of fuel, dirt, and floral with the fuel being dominant. and depending on specific structural bud locale, tastes can vary a good bit.....surprise!.....fucking lovely. LOVELY......had another pheno from earlier, took her 13wk, very trad in appearance and taste, more sativa than this vixen. thats when i want a real treat.

the realm on this girl is eye-watering energy off the bat, focused in the brain, but relaxed as all get out, what the hell is that? after a typical american-dream kinda day of speeding around keeping a nostril above water, 3-4 beers down the pipe, 4-5 diff strains taken thru the day....THIS girl will erase and say, look again.....its all fucking fabulous....RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

jesus, this is my 1st ace sat, are the rest this bona fide?
chopped at 83day

Hey cool I haven't read too many other people getting the fuel smell.. I totally know what you mean by strong... it's like brushing it makes the room smell of naphthalene or something... I had a Zamal dominant pheno that reeked of something dangerous and started trichome production on like day 8 of flower... felt like sandpaper when you touched a leaf. Some of the best weed I ever smoked... was like a piece of fruit in the intensity of its flavour and the high was really powerful but relaxing and happy with massive waves of giggles and trippyness...

YES the rest are bonafide. I've only tried Zam Golden Tiger and Guatemalan but they were all freakin great and perfectly matched or EXCEEDED the given strain description. In fact the Kali China and Bubba Kushx PCK I just ran were just as accurately described and I expect when I run Banghi haze and Banghi haze/Ethiopian they will be too.
Ace seeds in my opinion has the best value for $ that I've seen in the breeding world (granted I'm not in that world much but others who are have agreed here on icmag). If you like Zam I think you would like GT and probably Kali China as well. For straight power probably Malawi or a cross... I'm leaning pretty hard toward Malawi x Panama for my next purchase:plant grow:

hey nksv, yes she was in soil......thatsa hydrofarm half gallon pot, maybe slightly larger than half but not 3/4 gal, she yielded 18g from that. she was very willing to be tied up, no hermie issue

awesome. I have a similar thing going. Running a Panama/Zam cross in a 2l milk bottle. Super crop snap once and accidental break a week later and STILL performing like a trooper. I was sure I would see some yellow tears on her. Incredible strains eh!

Hey All, new to icmag but 25 year farmer off and on...mostly on. Lurked for years but this Zamaldelica strain has brought me out if the shadows. Got 3 regulars going as we speak, about 60 days into 12/12. Pictures as soon as I figure it out! Been chasing that high Thai Bliss so eloquently spoke of for the past 15-20 years. Zamaldelica game on. Peace my friends

Zamaldelica from fem, lookin/smelling great

Pictures must be huge, taking a long time to download. Sorry if so. Anyway, she's a babe, and weather permitting she'll have time to fill out a bit;) Stinker and very nice bud structure.

Wow, time flies...
it's always amazing watching the differences in flower devolpment between multiple plants.
Anywho, pictures.

Zamaldelica #1 Thai-dom

There is a terrible amount of yellowing going on with this lady, but I'm not worried. She seems happy and healthy, albeit incredibly rootbound.
Flowering started roughly a week ago. Has an "ancient" look to me. The trunk is gnarled and large, leaves thin as daggers, impressively large structure.

This lady is a beast. She has been the star since the beginning and is starting to show her stuff. It's been in flowering for roughly a month and a half, showing signs of her second reflowering. Smells remind of candied apricots or nectarines, absolutely delicious. This specimen seems to be incredibly refined, as opposed to the archaic look of the Thai dom.

Beauties! Nice work!

I was looking at my back deck and yard earlier today, dreaming about how nice it'd be to have a few outdoor plants. *sigh* Maybe someday.

Zamaldelica phenotype

Zamaldelica phenotype

This lady appears to be the thai leaning pheno. She has one sister who looks just like her and another that had to be put outdoors because she decided that she would BEGIN growing 6 weeks into the flip. Almost culled her but didn't have the heart. Now, 9 weeks she is about 2 ft and STARTING to flower. Pictures soon.

Zam - last days of big heat

Zam - last days of big heat

She's had a better start than last year's Zam x KC clones did. Identical in structure, gorgeous, full, dank smell. Pungent. Sharks, forgot to resize pics, takin a bit to upload.

Having outdoor plants is great, at one point had 17 crammed into this space, scared the crap outta myself;) With this drought and a new house built "next door" (200 yds away) I felt 2 was too many. I sometimes keep clones in the window for rooting, and being a dude who names his plants, they're all called "probable cause". Great strain name.
Here's my ZAmlet.

Subbed!

I am looking for a speedy electric up Thai pheno of Zamaldelica. I grew a few Golden Tigers and a Zamaldelica indoors about 5 years ago. All of them had an introspective heavy trippiness to them. They were not what I was looking for. Though I had heard of growers finding speedy, euphoric, and trippy phenotypes, I temporarily shelved the project since I found a few Bangi Haze phenotypes that had more of the happy, clean, and uplifting qualities that I was looking for.

I was recently convinced to try Zamaldelica again. I have completed my infusion of Bangi Haze genetics into my keeper seeds, and I found that Yoss33 was able to grow good quality Zamaldelica at a latitude similar to mine. I'm going to give it a go outside next summer.

I dropped into this thread to see what people are finding lately in the line. I see that some phenotypes look almost exactly like the Thai I had grown when I was a youngster. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about from Consolidated:

A couple more from Bona Fortuna:

I'm wondering why I have not seen pictures of these phenos in Golden Tiger or Destroyer that are the spitting image of some of the Thai plants I had grown back in the day. I don't see it in a male named Mr. Clean that I believe is supposed to be pure Thai from the genes used in these lines. Is it possible that the genetics from Reunion Island have Thai genes in their ancestry and the combination of the Thai in Golden Tiger and the Reunion genetics are bringing out archaic expressions that I remember? I am really old, so what I remember is different than what most people remember. LOL!

I miss those skinny Thai Sticks from the 70s and early 80s more than any other weed in my life. There were fat Buddha Sticks in the early 80s that were well loved, but I don't think they were as strong. They were really fine quality, similar in effect, and potent, but not the same electric rocket fuel of the skinny sticks. The skinny Thai Sticks were too potent, too scary and intense, for most people.

Thanks for the picture above Star Crash. Those bundles give me a warm feeling of good times.

Hey thaibliss, You should give another opportunity to zamaldelica, being a polyhybrid you have to look a bit but I'm sure you'll find it... I cultivated it twice, the first with phenotypes and effects influenced by Malawi, and the second time I was lucky to find the female zamal-thai semi-auto flower....and they come from a 5 seeds pack!
Try again, I'm sure you will find your girl.....

I don't know. I ran two packs of the regulars and found nothing worth cultivating. The genetics are obviously worth something for breeders purposes, but the regular seeds were very very disappointing. Some of the worst weed I've grown. And I've seen others grow it and wind up with about the same. So I'm not sure where the hype came from. Maybe the fems are better?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
The regular zamaldelicas I've had the pleasure to cultivate have been astounding.
Granted, I have not yet harvested any to have mention on the potency and where it lies...
But I have high hopes
Have you had experience with any other ace gear?

It depends on what you are looking for ... The dominant Malawi/thai female was the favorite of my friends, with a high "modern", while the female zam / thai I loved her and chosen as a mother for f2, I must say that zamaldelica is one of those strains that you can fully appreciate (like taste / effect) only after 5-6 months and even more ...
I also performed some hybrids using male zamaldelica ...
