Lol dammit. Now I miss 13..
Hi chronosync,
Zamaldelica is a polyhybrid and although Zamaldelica fem version has a more compact size and stretch lesser, the stretching greatly depends on the pheno you are growing (and also on the growing variables).
Yours looks like a Zamal/Thai, and these kind of phenos like to stretch quite into the flowering .... she will probably stretch until 6-7th week of flowering although a more overall pic of the plant showing also the space left in your indoor setup will help to determine it better.
Chronosync: some never stop stretching, though that explosive rate quickly fades, by weeks 5-6... though it still noticeable until weeks 7-8, at least on some sativas.
You should train her so that the maximum amount of stalks form an even canopy towards the lightning w/o blocking light to other budsites.
Zamaldelica is very flexible, so pliable wire like wirehangers can be very handy. Shes also very cappricious/random on where deciding to stretch, so you'd better go along with her desires (vs supercropping, she don't seem to fancy); just don't hesitate in repositioning the tops for optimal / even distribution, away from direct fans, etc... she'll respond with happiness: tons of hairs all around down to the main stem.
They both look nice as hell but A is my favourite. How's the stems look on her? Were they mega hairy and released that sweet, creamy and fruity zamal smell when rubbed? I had one like that looked like yours but with stems like that and it was truly something special.
Thanks!
I dont see any trichs or extra hairs on the stems, do you mean leaf stems near the buds or the main stems? I have a plant with super hairy stems, its a *bag seed plant. I thought a clone of it had mold growing on the main stalk but i scoped it and it was all trichs and hairs, this is the frostiest plant ive grown, but nothing spectacular about these Zamaldelicas in that regard, and I'm not sure what terps I get off the stem rub, sometimes i think its carrots and mango but I wonder if im fooling myself with wishful thinking. They both have a very pleasant sweet smell and are STICKY on the stems thats for sure. Plant B seems to have a more pronounced myrcene terp, like kush? and somewhat of a nutmeg? thing going on, I'm actually really bad placing smells for some reason, always on the tip of my *nose but can never place it, you know?
Either way, I'm in love with this strain already
Drone powered? Roof?
I have thought also on a drone... gonna need to see the other outdoor girls from above!

okay, zam.
zam has become my no.1.......this pheno you see reeks of a balanced mix of fuel, dirt, and floral with the fuel being dominant. and depending on specific structural bud locale, tastes can vary a good bit.....surprise!.....fucking lovely. LOVELY......had another pheno from earlier, took her 13wk, very trad in appearance and taste, more sativa than this vixen. thats when i want a real treat.
the realm on this girl is eye-watering energy off the bat, focused in the brain, but relaxed as all get out, what the hell is that? after a typical american-dream kinda day of speeding around keeping a nostril above water, 3-4 beers down the pipe, 4-5 diff strains taken thru the day....THIS girl will erase and say, look again.....its all fucking fabulous....RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!
jesus, this is my 1st ace sat, are the rest this bona fide?

I only got to grow it a couple of rounds before I had to call it quits but every girl had that carroty, herby, mangoness to her. One in particular, Zam #6 had mega hairy trichs all over her from day one and when rubbed released that typical smell like she was trying to choke you out with it. She was leaps and bound above the rest but the others were all good just the same. Zam#6 was special though in that she seemed overly abundant with the terps and had a special creeper/wavy high to go with. To this day it's my favourite herb and I'm about to sprout some zamF2's and hybrids I made with that special girl. I'm particularly looking forward to the zamaldelica x double thai I made. It should be long but well worth the wait
