Proper well focused pics under more natural light will certainly help, but i think i already replied you about the phenos.

Yeah you did, but you said zamal/thail phenos and it looked like you meant it would be only one of them but couldn't be sure because of the pictures quality. Do I make sense here?

So, I took some pictures without the HPS, hope it's better to investigate...

Pictures are big in size, so I rather give links than directly posting pictures here.

I confirmed you that you have Zamal/Thai phenos.
If you need that others evaluate your plants from your pics is better that you provide well focused pics of your plants and flowers under natural light.

And please no irritation, it's Monday morning ;)

No it's ok, I just thought it would be either Zamal or Thai, not both Zamal/Thai for a single plant.

Yeah sorry about that, damn internet was just titling me so to speak :p

Hi growhigh1233,

Your Zamaldelica male is a Malawi dominant pheno.

thanks dubi,................. it was how short the plant is, and how big the internode spacing of the flowers and the thin floppy stems that made me think zamal over Malawi

gunna make some f2's with 4 phenos of zamdelica i have , and the have a search for trip weed lol,

You are welcome Bona Fortuna :)
Thanks to you for supporting our work

Current Zamaldelica fem version indeed needs waterings quite frequently and accepts very well higher levels of nutrients, while the regular lines are wilder and hardier, they need a more moderate feeding regime and they can handle better the higher temps and drought.

Wow!
I wasn't really expecting a reply haha. Thank you.

I have a regular zamaldelica pack, ended up keeping 2 girls out of 5 seeds popped.
They, both, do handle a fairly rich organic soil.
I'll figure out how to post photos and show and tell.

These are my two females that I've kept. I popped five mid march, all showed presex by may, three girls and two guys. I gave one girl away. The ones I kept were put in a rather rich organic soil, but only 20 gallons to hopefully keep them tame.

Here's the thirsty girl zam1:

And the other zam2:

And leaf detail:

These are tied down with salmon colored gardening tape, which explains the flashes of pink.

The girls in the background are two destroyers.

*did these show up for anyone?

Hi Bona Fortuna,

Both Zamaldelica females look healthy and happy :)
The strong branching with short nodes and the leaf traits make me think both females are Zamal/Thai phenos.

Have a great season! :tiphat:

Dubi, little question about that zamal/thai phenotype...

The answer is probably somewhere around but I’ll admit I am a bit lazy to search through 200+ pages

What should I expect regarding the effect? Aren’t those the most psychedelic ones?

This year I have two Zamaldelica (feminized) going. My third year of growing Zamaldelica. The first year I did standard and feminized. The two standards were very different phenos. One was big, airy, many branched and with a very pleasing perfumey aroma. The other was much more compact, tighter branching, and denser colas.
The fem version was different again. Big dense long colas.
Last yearI grew two standard plants. One likely more Zamal structured and one that I think was more Malawi. The Malawi looking one had a bit of mold problem and the Zamal one had many many branches and buds but they didn't fill out and it was slow to finish.

Here is one that appears Malawi structured.

Here is the other that seems Zamal or Zamal-Thai.

Also I started these in late April so they're about 8 weeks old. They'd be a bit bigger but I was delayed in transplanting them to the larger grow bag. The previous two years, I started them in late march but I think those were harder to keep healthy all the way to the end. I hope a later start will make keeping them healthy easier even if the yield will be less.
