I would say she is done from here Looking lovely, those huge trichomes are going to hit hard

Just harvest her when your criteria and intuition tells you is the right moment.

:thank you:

Great, that's reassuring thanks! :tiphat: :woohoo:

I'd say no more white pistils flush... aphid infestation, though they don't seem to thrive on her, considering chopping it if worth?

Same cola I snapped always, the rest look fairly identical to this one.

Thanks for saying hi Dubie, here ya go.....just relearned to post photos so im on a bender......now, for clarity sake i werent going to chop this girl anytime soon, rather was eyeballing the finish line......she's one of 16 girls in a cab so i dont give her a careful inspection much and when i do its for general health, but i brought her close yesterday morn thinking she was looking a bit plump for her young age and was pretty amazed at where she's at for 8wks, to the day, in the flower

and like i say, its maybe half cloudy for trichs. yikes. thoroughly excited, my first 2 experiences with the sativa was dubi's purple haze/thai from a while back and malberry peshawar afghani....tho i think the peshawar region is paki right? anyway, the peshawar is quite frickin good. flavor is great and the high is very up and relaxing.....my purple haze lacks a bit in flavor but what is there is nonetheless quite adequate, the effect is a mysterious balance between up and relaxed and lasts quite a long time.........kind of like drinking way too much coffee at 6a after ripping peyote purple joint like a cigar for 10 minutes, ok? both are great, now id like to see the other side. the most racy will be pre-amber right? and more balanced with time on the vine?

:bigeye: I want! After seeing Kaskadian grow and that comment I want to grow it or any Purple Haze cross!

ion I'd say your Zam looks similar in speed to mine, has still to swell those calyxes (on mine that happened around week 9th->10th), trichs are either clear or cloudy right now on mine.

Coastal mediteranean climate :)

We regularly experience frost free winters and when it happens it's usually between january to February. It can get wet though sometimes, that's the main potential trouble here (and this year the weather seems to be a bit crazy here so fingers crossed). This one last year was taken down mostly mid-November, could have gone longer without damage but I think I prefer it this way, pushed some branches to 16 weeks but the best aromas and heady effects were gone, I think 15 weeks is the best harvest time for this one

Just chopped mine today, one small cola top was beginning to be covered in web...

picture.php

The cola I'm holding is the tallest one, same I've been shooting.

Seem to be an aphid resistant strain, they didn't thrive that much. And the spider mites was possibly due to a circulation fan blasting on her too hard from too close, didn't saw much damage.

I was actually surprised with the yield from her, didn't expect that much!

Trying to reveg her... gave her a thorough foliar bath with potassic soap/neem and left her outdoors.

it would be a blast running her a second time outdoors with Spain summer sun! Tips welcome!

I am currently flowering two different zamal pheno.

#1 is at day 80 and the other #2 is on day 72.

Not sure what pheno I have but #1 is definitely going to finish quicker than #2. I probably going to let #1 go for another week then cut her down. #2 is looking like it will need at least another month.

Both are in half gallon milk cartons, in my 300w led cab.

Hi ion,

Thanks for sharing pics of your Zamaldelica, a true beauty :)
Love her flowering traits and flower/leaf ratio.

Glad you had the chance to experience the older Haze x Thai limited editions, you will find Zamaldelica tastier and with a much more stronger, complex and long lasting yet uplifting effect ;)

Hi Sativamane,

Malawi's effect is well known for its overpowering and long lasting dense trippy effects, it's very strong, both in the body and the mind.
While the Meao/Hmong Thai used in Zamaldelica produces very electric mental effects, accelerating the body.
Both can be very trippy.

Purple Zamal (pure) x Nepal Jam, new hybrid being tested, lankier structures than Zamaldelica crosses, but reacting quite fast to flowering too.

I love the structure here.

Both new hybrids look fantastic.

Thank you Dubi for your intense dedication!
