Hi all! a couple of bud shots...and some s1 seeds 
Sooo I'll be growing this same plant someday, again... the smell in the jars is something like fermented tropical fruit and honey.
Last saturday a friend and I smoked a joint -well, two tokes each-, of a bud I took 15 days before the definitive cut mixed with very little of the final cut, and we were blown away by the potency of it...in two minutes we were flying. The initial rush was strong and inmediate and it was a very positive and speedy vibe all the way. My friend said he had some visual distortions too. I think that if we had smoked a little bit more, we would have reached that "why I did so much" moment. But this first experience was really good, with no terrorific or paranoia moments. We were talking and playing ping-pong for 3 hours with only two tokes each. And after that we decided it was time for a little more and the thing got us on our feet again. Really a great herb, and I'm waiting to test the final cut buds after a good cure.

Thanks to you dubi and ace seeds crew for making these amazing genetics available to all of us. Zamaldelica was a pleasure to grow, as it is the Vbt, which I'm waiting to finish. I got two ladies outdoors and will upload pics soon.

Hi everybody,
I noticed the same thing: if I use bonemeal, seaweed and rockdust I notice that I have a smaller yield if I don't use some other, liquid fertilizer like Hesi or Plagron. The use of Cannabiogen's D9 makes also a big deal.

I was introduced to compost teas a few years ago and was amazed at the immediate results in the form of healthy looking plants. I have always composted heavily for all my outdoor plants. The tea is like supercharging the soil biotical organisms, which produce micro manure on their own, but also are critical in breaking down soil mineral and organic elements.
On the other hand, I would challenge you to find any grape grower that would agree that making the plants as healthy and vigorous as possible will produce the best quality of grape. Part of the terroir is the lack of optimal nutrients, minerals, or water, and the struggle of the plant in that particular environment.
I'm using fish fertilizer and seaweed tea to get my outdoor plants started, because I have a thick bed of compost on some crappy soil, red clay and decomposed granite. The large amount of organic matter is competing with the plants for nitrogen. When it gets warm enough to start brewing some compost teas I'll do that to get them big until the beginning of July. Then I go to only pure water which brings back a nitrogen deficit, slowing down the growth and giving the plants the struggle of the true nature of the less than optimal soil. This seems to concentrate the resins on slightly smaller buds as compared to a babied plant. It also brings out some hidden color as the green chlorophylls are reduced.
I contained a mix of 30% aged compost 40% leaves and green compost from the previous fall and 30% river bottom soil in a fruit box cut into the side of a hill with rugged clay and decomposed granite soil. The fruit box has lots of holes drilled into it for aeration and so the roots can grow into the natural soil.

Very good point about spoiling plants, the traditional guerrilla farmers certainly didn't pamper their crops like many of us do...
I for one am no fan of rich green nitro buds lol. Chlorophyll
dont make good smoke.
By harvest my plants are always yellowing, or at least off green/purple, unless I have to harvest early due to weather.
Seems most plants develop autumn colors naturally outdoors,
only seen a few able to get this effect indoors though.
This year Ive used rock dust in my soil mix, complete trace minerals, so far the plants seem to love it.

I love that picture you posted. I have seen quite a few old pictures like that. I'm afraid if you posted that around in many threads, you'd find plenty of people calling it "schwag". Some of the very best highs I've ever smoke came off of plants that look like they have had a tough time. Even me saying that in that way, "a tough time", is biased towards the vibrant green super fertilized look. Lots of native plants would look dramatically different if grown under pampered conditions.
That colorful plant I grew was named Nagano Gold, from VISC. I love the colors, but not the smoke. The one very good strain from them that I remember was Burmese. I think Zamaldelica potentially a higher ceiling, potency wise, than Burmese if I can find one I like. I will get around to sprouting some more of these after a few more grows.

see the recent "mids vs AAA" thread, everybody is hopping on the Grade AAA bandwagon and nobody is asking 'well, what gets you higher?'
i have the feeling nobody can tell the difference any more, its seems to be a smaller group of people every year, even here.... or maybe its just going mainstream and the heard is getting bigger...
we, our group of 'trip heads', are bascially like the old european monks of wine vineyards right?
its gonna be decades before what we are going on about is acknowledged by consumers at large...
im waiting for the day when your typical flat-billed hat, baggy pants, sun glass wearing 'dealer' is trying to hunt down some 16week nevilles haze so that he can show off to all his homies he can get the 'real good shit' and not that '45min sleeptrain garbage'
very much in the same vein that now a days 'hipsters' are looking for young bio-dynamic fair-trade wines to pair with their local organic cheeses...

I am a srong believer to that one should nurse the soil, not so much the plant.
To this day I have collected dead leaves away, fearing that if there is pest or something they would dwell in dead leaves.
Now I'm sowing alfalfa on top of buckets and doing compost in summer. All dead plants go in it.
Recycling is the word, in our culture too...Wish I was biologist to understand more..

Here's a short story that happened yesterday afternoon. Before I went to work I visited a friend and gifted him one Zamaldelica joint. One friend of him appeared 5 minutes later while my mate was lighting the joint. After he smoked 1/4 of it he passed it to the guy, who after taking 4 hits complained that it was not so strong tasting as other bud he had smoked some days ago. Well, after that, the man stood alone in the garden rambling like a mad man for 5 minutes and then entered the house running till he found the toilet and puked his guts out.He then managed to get on his feet and left the building out of his mind and without saying a word.
