I keep a small compost pile just off the deck.Everything from the house goes in it. I pee in it to keep the varmits out. It gets watered if it dont rain for a while. Keeps the smell down. I throw in small woody prunings in it too.
When I need a little compost I just push the top layer aside to get at the goodies at the bottom. Then push it back.

My mailbox is 3 miles from my house. The closest three cities in any direction are 27mi, 46 mi, and 48 miles away. The mail lady signs for our packages and tells us what time she will be there to meet her for pick/up. It's common to wave at people you pass on the highway going to town. I have 6 open range horses on way to mailbox. Peace

You can get any caliber of ammo here. 50cal linked ammo, 7.62 just about anything.
No clue about cali.

We had a couple of older neighbor ladies. They called one night. They thought someone was knocking at the door and when they went to answer it they were gone. This went on for a couple of nights. So I set out to catch the teenagers pulling a prank.

Turned out they were leaving scraps out in a pan at night for the dog. Then this skunk was bumping the pan up against the door while eating the scraps. Then when they turned on the light to check the door it would run off.
